for the discretion of his mouth, But one with a twisted heart will be
treated with contempt. 9 Better to be lightly esteemed and have a
servant Than to glorify oneself and have no food. 10 The righteous one
takes care of his domestic animals, But even the mercy of the wicked is
cruel. 11 The one who cultivates his land will be satisfied with food,
But the one pursuing worthless things is lacking good sense. 12 The
wicked man envies what other evil men have caught, But the root of the
righteous bears fruit."
Prov 12:8 Discretion involves using good judgment in our speech or conduct, reasoning on matters to show foresight and speak or act accordingly. One using such discretion will be typically be viewed favorably by others. This is contrasted with one having a twisted, or perverted, corrupt heart, which will result in having disfavor in the eyes of others.

12:9 This reveals the vanity of seeking one's own glory, which will not
result in God's blessing, not even His provision of necessities as
food. Jesus was well aware of such vanity, as he set an example in
refusing to seek his own glory. People who are glorifying, even
worshipping Jesus today are being misled, and causing Jesus distress, as
he wants his Father Jehovah to receive such praise. For instance, once
Jesus healed a man acting violently, who was evidently possessed by
thousands of demons at one time. The man wanted to tell others about his
newfound freedom. Who did Jesus want him to praise for this saving act?
Jesus tells him: “Go home to your relatives, and report to them all the
things Jehovah has done for you and the mercy he has shown you.” (Mark
5:19).

12:10 Evidently unrighteous, even wicked ones may mistreat their own
domestic animals, or show cruelty to people even when claiming to be
merciful. Since verse 8 shows one with perverted conduct will be viewed
unfavorably by many, he needs to turn around from such to receive
blessings from God and right-hearted men.

12:11 A foolish person or adult does not have his priorities in order, and often
gives almost exclusive attention to things, even knowledge, that contributes little to spirituality, and a godly, successful life. One acting with godly wisdom,
however, while properly enjoying the life God has given us, will also
learn and do things that will enable him to provide for himself and his
family, or family-to-be, both spiritually and materially. (Eccle 7:12).

12:12 Envy and Jealousy have caused great distress to humanity. It is
the Tenth commandment that says: “You must not desire your fellow man’s
house. You must not desire your fellow man’s wife nor his slave man nor
his slave girl nor his bull nor his donkey nor anything that belongs to
your fellow man.” (Exod 20:17). Notice this commandment involves the
very desires of our heart, not the act of stealing which is outlawed in
the eighth commandment. God can read our thoughts and heart, so may we
learn to please Him, being happy at the good things others acquire, and
trust God for His help to find the things we really want or need, in
line with His will.

DEUTERONOMY 04C
Our last consideration taught us to safeguard our heart from corruption, and to observe God's instructions, to be found by Him unblemished and in peace. Let's continue further in Moses' discourse.
“Therefore, watch yourselves closely—since you did not see any form on the day Jehovah spoke to you in Horʹeb out of the middle of the fire—16 that you may not act corruptly by making for yourselves any carved image having the form of any symbol, the representation of male or female,17 the representation of any animal on the earth or the representation of any bird that flies in the sky,18 the representation of anything creeping on the ground or the representation of any fish in the waters under the earth.19 And when you raise your eyes to the heavens and see the sun and the moon and the stars—all the army of the heavens—do not get seduced and bow down to them and serve them. Jehovah your God has given them to all the peoples under the whole heavens.20 But you are the ones Jehovah took and brought out of the iron-smelting furnace, out of Egypt, to become the people of his personal possession, as you are today."
SIN OF IDOLATRY.
It was the first Two Commandments of the Ten that clearly show Jehovah requires exclusive worship of His people, ultimately all humankind, the work of His own hands. These state: "“‘I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.7 You must never have any other gods besides me.8 “‘You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth.9 You must not bow down to them nor be led to serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me,10 but showing loyal love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments." It is the sin of idolatry that involves lifting up another thing or creature, including humans, above Jehovah in worship--this practice blinds one spiritually, so this one is no longer able to see clearly and be fully honest and upright. (Psalm 115). Even the stars are a gift from God, supporting life throughout the Universe, but may we carefully follow God's guidance and direction obediently, to be able to enjoy life as He has intended for humans, first restoring true peace, purity, and happiness to our planet. We would never want to worship the sun, the moon, or the stars, or even our own planet Earth, as though these gifts from God and anything obtained from them are somehow greater than the love of God Himself, and our relationship with Him. We are to love Jehovah, pleasing Him, patiently waiting for His guidance in doing what is right before Him, not selfishly running ahead of Jehovah, and losing out on our precious eternal future as His loyal, faithful worshipers.

THRICE WEEKLY GOLDEN APPLES
*First, on the post of Apr 15, on water boiling to remove chlorine, you might take note that the times given for boiling were intended with higher heat, as a rapid boil, the recommended time is now 3-8 minutes, depending on amount and heat applied. Please, if using such higher heat for the first time, ensure protection of all hands, etc. from the burner and scalding hot water. You might make sure the burner is off and has time to cool before removing the pot, possibly adding a little water to an empty pot on a hot burner--this may protect the integrity of the pot and give you some idea of how hot the burner still is. And most know to turn pot handles inward over the stove, distant from little hands, albeit warned ones. Also, I mentioned the ozonating method is dangerous, not recommending it, and here's why: Indoors, with heat or flame in cooking, etc. skin or facial burns or worst can be experienced with this super-oxygen in the air, igniting flame. While the right kind of ozone can be health-promoting, even killing viruses, etc. there may be chemical fume interactions as well. Also, indoor ozone has at times harmed electronic equipment. If this option is considered, then the UTMOST of precautions are in order--careful steps to ensure all ozone is removed from the home before cooking with heat or heating with flame. Not just a fan in one window would suffice--remember you would need air flow with another open window, and such precautions found in your research could be written out, displayed and CAREFULLY followed. The boiling method works well and is what I recommend(ed).

But there is a cure, and it’s called community.In a time when bringing family and friends together may not be feasible, we need a little creativity and a lot of intention to ensure regular contact with neighbors and loved ones.Whether you’re helping a relative or neighbor navigate social distancing, or looking to minimize the effects of isolation, Home Instead Senior Care recommends the following ideas to stay connected:
1. Set a schedule. Despite our best efforts, it can be easy to let days go by before the next call or email. While a thoughtful letter may not completely stamp out loneliness, it can help lift spirits and show how much you care. If you have young children, consider enlisting them to draw pictures or practice their handwriting with a special note.

COME TO CONSENSUS CORNER
REALITIES OF GOD’S GOVERNMENT AND BENEFICIAL STANDARDS
We’ve seen how GOD’s STANDARDS ARE REALISTIC, REASONABLE, RELIABLE, AND REWARDING.
We’ve also noted that: UNDER THE RULE OF GOD’S GOVERNMENT, THE STANDARDS SET FORTH IN HIS WORD WILL MAKE POSSIBLE PUBLIC POLICIES THAT PROMOTE HONESTY, FAIRNESS, REASONABLENESS AND HAPPINESS.
APPLYING PRECEPTS.
Putting these truths together, the way true peace will be obtained and will remain among mankind will be by both GOD’s blessing, and also by the education and application of GOD’s astounding word and it’s principles, or precepts. This will be seen, for instance, in the vast reduction and practical elimination of serious and life-threatening infractions, such as regarding home and work fire hazards and alcohol-related and other harmful auto incidents. Of course, GOD’s blessings will be flowing upon mankind, and we shall have HIS assistance to promote safety, security, and happiness among one another. Yet all this will be enhanced by means of an extensive public educational policy, blessed by GOD, that will encourage awareness of HIS beneficial laws and standards. And LOVE for GOD and for one another will be the dominant motive prevailing! Let’s take the above examples and consider how we may largely eliminate such threats to our peace.
FIRE SAFETY.
Under control, fire may be included among some of our most cherished memories, perhaps a campfire with family and friends roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. But out of control, what a threat to our security and happiness! In a home, for instance, what makes the difference? Isn’t it largely by being informed about fire hazards and safety, and acting accordingly, or appropriately? Today, however, how often are you presented with loving guidance or instruction in these matters? How often is commercial air time used for an educational message regarding fire safety? Yet statistics indicate roughly a 1/2 million fire incidents per year, in a nation of over 300 million people. Shall we say that’s “just” one in 600? Or, rather, is it a 1/2 million too many?
WITH JEHOVAH GOD’s BLESSING in full force under HIS RULERSHIP, HE will assist us! And efforts can be applied under the leadership of the Christ, having access to the helpful guidance necessary to QUICKLY REDUCE and PRACTICALLY ELIMINATE fire hazards around our workplaces and homes.
ADVANCEMENTS.
And, advancements have been and can be made in the use of fire-resistant building materials and modifications to existing homes. Also, smarter systems can be put in place around cooking equipment and home heating systems. Recommendations can be made, or provided, to assist in such matters. All of this will just make it easier for Jehovah GOD to fulfill His promises toward mankind, as in Revelation 21:3-4:
“3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
”
INTERVENTIONS.
As the number of fires quickly drop nationwide and eventually worldwide, GOD Himself will most certainly be behind it. Even praying to Jehovah, seeking HIS help and blessing each day can reflect our humble, appreciative attitude toward life. And while we aim to maintain a sound mind, can Jehovah not intervene to prevent a serious mistake or calamity? Under the rule of HIS Kingdom, certainly HE can, as we continually look to HIM for guidance in our lives, and may we be grateful when HE does! (Compare Psalm 19:7-8, 11-14). In such ways, Paradise blessings will be achieved and experienced by mankind, and as foretold, GOD is making this possible through the Christ, the Son of man, with his co-rulers, all upholding Jehovah GOD’s sovereignty! (Matthew 19:28).
DRIVING INCIDENTS.
Along the same lines, can we not expect intervention by GOD and Christ regarding the plague of driving accidents nationwide? MUCH of this is attributed to alcohol abuse—an insidious, confusing influence that deceptively disrupts normal driving skill and ability. The people of GOD will beat this problem, under Christ’s direction, as true knowledge is applied to the issue, with GOD’s blessing! Inhibitive fear itself is to be practically eliminated in GOD’s new world.
Micah 4:4 says “4 And they will actually sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, and there will be no one making [them] tremble; for the very mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken [it].”
NEVER ENDANGER OTHERS.
May all take a close look at their practices in this regard. Jehovah GOD is “ready to forgive.” Some have caused others harm in the past by ignoring alcohol’s subtle and deceptive influence. May they turn around from such practices, realizing the danger, and lovingly and compassionately making arrangements so they never endanger others behind the wheel in such circumstances. And many have never fallen into this trap. Under the rulership of Christ, all will be educated in such things, so we can avoid threatening others in such ways! May we behave in ways that uphold GOD’s loving will and purpose for humans, eliminating fear and injustice in our practices. All will be helped to do so in GOD’s new world.
CONCLUSION
UTTER SORROW TO VANISH.
These are just two examples of how the Christ will lead the way in an extensive educational campaign to bring such issues under control with GOD’s benevolent blessing. Arrangements will be made within GOD’s government, likely in cooperation with Christian institutions, to address various matters involving the life and health of humanity. Tears of sorrow will all but vanish as we address issue after issue needing attention to be in harmony with GOD’s loving ways and wondrous Word! May we thus continue to be educated in the marvelous ways of GOD by continually feeding at HIS table, considering thoughts from the Bible that INSPIRE, EDUCATE, CLEANSE, AND BENEFIT all humans accepting such provisions!

I believe I had interference from talking up the holiday as Christ's Family Weekend on the website this year, although many still likely heard, for Dec 27th and 28th; there is strong reason for caution, due to God's blessing potentially being removed from Dec 25. Some prophecies were fulfilled in recent years, including one about Job's cursing of the day of his birth, which both was historically Dec 25 and whose life foreshadowed Christ in some ways, prophetically. When God's blessing is on a day, He has often protected people from danger; For years now Jesus above (AzGod) has been saving thousands of lives weekly traveling roadways for instance. It is acknowledged that this went so misunderstood this year, without realizing a completely acceptable alternative in Christ's Family Weekend, but God and Jesus Christ above still have made clear that safe travel cannot be guaranteed for Dec 25. Why not open some gifts on the evening of the 24th, and save the rest for Christ's Family Weekend, on the 27th and 28th, good days for traveling to family, etc. for the same. To the extent that we do such things, we will please both God and Christ, showing faith in their word.
