2020 Aug 17 Proverbs 3, Psalm 119 Stanza 5A-5B, CSL Points to Ponder, Greatest Man

Hello and hallelujah! I hope you're inspired by the things being shared with you today! Let's look into Proverbs 3, then consider more of Psalm 119, some Christian Points to Ponder, and then more of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount!

Proverbs 3:1-8:
"1 My son, do not forget my teaching, And may your heart observe my commandments, 2 Because they will add many days And years of life and peace to you. 3 Do not let loyal love and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; Write them on the tablet of your heart; 4 Then you will find favor and good insight In the eyes of God and man. 5 Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways take notice of him, And he will make your paths straight. 7 Do not become wise in your own eyes. Fear Jehovah and turn away from bad. 8 It will be a healing to your body And refreshment for your bones."

"1 My son, do not forget my teaching, And may your heart observe my commandments, 2 Because they will add many days And years of life and peace to you."

Prove 3:1-2: Notice we're to observe God's commandments with our heart. What a good reminder that we can take information into our mind, but to truly benefit, we must ponder how we can truly use it to benefit others and ourselves to make it a part of us, to reach our heart. We should see the rewards, good consequences of observing God's commands, perhaps also the sadness and distress caused by one disobeying God, that we may hate what is bad. Here a general reward is mentioned for obeying God, doing so adds "many days and years of life and peace."

"3 Do not let loyal love and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; Write them on the tablet of your heart; 4 Then you will find favor and good insight In the eyes of God and man."

Prove 3:3-4: Next, loyal love and faithfulness are to affect everything we say, and are to be written on our hearts, affecting our very motives in all we do. Faithfulness inspires us to be persons of integrity, practicing God's righteousness, being true to Him under trial and test, recalling that "God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation He will make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it." (1Corinthians 10:13). Proverbs 20:6 says "Many men proclaim their loyal love, but who can find a faithful man?" Let's appreciate both: true loyal love and faithfulness, to God and others. One reward is you "will find favor and good insight in the eyes of God and man."

"5 Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways take notice of him, And he will make your paths straight."

Prove 3:5-6: A favorite verse of many. Look for God's direction, through his word and prayer, not simply relying on our past experience or our own understanding of things. We should be ready to adjust our thinking when we see good reason for doing so, especially when the truth from God's word corrects us. Jehovah, by his word, can make our paths straight, helping us remain on the road of eternal life, without turning to the right or left. In 'all of our ways,' or in everything we do, we are to humbly seek God's direction, His way of doing things. How we benefit from God's wise guidance!

"7 Do not become wise in your own eyes. Fear Jehovah and turn away from bad. 8 It will be a healing to your body And refreshment for your bones."

Prove 3:7-8: By humbling ourselves and seeking God's direction, fearing to displease Him, we avoid pridefully relying on ourselves, and seeking our own glory, leading to selfishness or self-centeredness. Another translation renders verse 7: "Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil." (Prove 3:7, NLT). "Turning away from bad" may include such things as avoiding forms of idolatry, such as by total immersion in the lives of certain stars of movies, tv shows, etc. We may have favorite actors or actresses, and enjoy watching an occasional show they appear in. But excessive binge-watching, for instance, a tv- or movie-star can be obsessive and lead to an unrealistic and misguided view of such people, made in the image of God. Seeking God's honor as those representing Him as true Christians, ones should unselfishly seek true love, having concern for others and their welfare, and reap true happiness in life.

_______
Proverbs 3:9-12:
"9 Honor Jehovah with your valuable things, With the firstfruits of all your produce; 10 Then your storehouses will be completely filled, And your vats will overflow with new wine. 11 My son, do not reject the discipline of Jehovah, And do not loathe his reproof, 12 For those whom Jehovah loves he reproves, Just as a father does a son in whom he delights."

"9 Honor Jehovah with your valuable things, With the firstfruits of all your produce; 10 Then your storehouses will be completely filled, And your vats will overflow with new wine."

Prove 3:9-10 - We want to have a good name with God. He rewards those who put His name ahead of their own. At John 7:18 Jesus says: "Whoever speaks of his own originality is seeking his own glory; but whoever seeks the glory of the one who sent him, this one is true and there is no unrighteousness in him." Who is worthy of more honor--we ourselves? some superstar? or Jehovah the Creator? We may have talents and possessions, valuable things, material and spiritual. Let us seek to honor Jehovah with such things, by giving Him our best effort to obey Him, loving Him and our neighbor. We will thus receive the blessing of Jehovah on our efforts. Proverbs 10:22 says "It is the blessing of Jehovah that makes one rich, and He adds no pain with it." It is fine to desire a good reputation. May we prosper, at least spiritually, by putting God's name ahead of our own, having His blessing, while we trust God to safeguard our own name with Him.

"11 My son, do not reject the discipline of Jehovah, And do not loathe his reproof, 12 For those whom Jehovah loves he reproves, Just as a father does a son in whom he delights."

Prove 3:11-12 - God's love is manifest in receiving His loving correction and guidance. Some often link discipline with punishment. Recall, however, the term "discipline" comes from the same root as "disciple". Did Jesus go around punishing his disciples? Or did he lovingly correct and train them? Yes, discipline primarily involves loving correction and readjustment. Punishment may be necessary, at times, but love should be the clear motive, and the lesson(s) should be made understandable if possible, as well as how to avoid such punishment in the future. Also, by studying God's word personally, we may discipline ourselves before ever needing it from others. Another aspect of training is another scriptural term, "admonition." This involves training with good guidance, apart from discipline. Lovingly guiding your children when they've done nothing wrong, can build such a bond of trust and affection between parents and their offspring. Ephesians 6:4 says "And fathers, do not be irritating your children, but go on bringing them up in the discipline and admonition of Jehovah." This is primarily what's being encouraged at Deuteronomy 6:4-9, which says, by God's inspiration: "“Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. 5 You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength. 6 These words that I am commanding you today must be on your heart, 7 and you must inculcate them in your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as a reminder on your hand, and they must be like a headband on your forehead. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." Thus may we show our love for our children by the way we guide, teach, train, and correct them for their everlasting happiness and welfare!

_______
PSALM 119

The theme we'll consider for all of stanza 5 is this:
WHOLE-HEARTED OBEDIENCE CAN BE (HAPPILY) CULTIVATED AND SUSTAINED OVER TIME.

As we learned in the first verse of Psalm 119, true happiness belongs to those "who walk in the law of Jehovah." This requires faith, or deep trust, in God. As we learn God's laws and ways, our faith, like that of Abraham, can be 'counted to us as righteousness,' based on the ransom of Christ. (James 2:23). Our obedience can be shown to improve and endure over time.

Stanza 5A, verses 33-36, says this: "33 Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of your regulations, And I will follow it to the end. 34 Give me understanding, So that I may observe your law And keep it with my whole heart. 35 Guide me in the pathway of your commandments, For in it I take delight. 36 Incline my heart to your reminders, Not to selfish gain."

Psalm 119:33 Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of your [instructions], And I will follow it to the end.

"FOLLOW IT TO THE END." Evidently, even the detailed instructions and procedures of God's law the psalmist was eager to learn from God, so as to obey Him fully. He was determined to keep God's instructions "to the end," possibly meaning "to the last detail." The psalmist may even have had a double-meaning in mind here, as AMP adds "[steadfastly]." Regardless, we should value even detailed instructions from God, realizing their valued contribution to His purpose. The Contemporary English Version (CEV) puts it this way: "Point our your rules, LORD, and I won't disobey even one of them." May we thus likewise seek an obedient heart. Of course, these are God's rules the psalmist is referring to--rules formulated by humans should carefully take God's word into consideration, lest they become unduly cumbersome, or violate right standards, or even common sense! We should still aim to respect even man-made rules that do not conflict with God's word, where we perceive they are properly authorized or made with good intentions and that they're conceived for good reasons. Later, the psalmist mentions keeping God's law "forever and ever." May we likewise look long-term, comprehending God's eternal purpose, to have right-hearted worshippers happily and peaceably loving Him and one another throughout His universe. This requires that all acknowledge Jehovah's just, fair, and right standards for living.

Psalm 119:34 Give me understanding, So that I may observe your law And keep it with my whole heart.

UNDERSTANDING NEEDED. The psalmist recognizes the importance of the quality of understanding, when it comes to learning to fully obey Jehovah. Understanding involves seeing the big picture, along with all the individual pieces that make it up, and how they all interconnect to make the whole. This is vital, for instance, when learning to operate a motor vehicle. There are many principles and traffic laws that must be learned, that together make it possible to safely navigate the roadways among fellow drivers. Without understanding how these many laws work together, there would be chaos and confusion. God is honored by our respect for such laws. We should also learn such laws, not only for our own benefit, but out of love and respect for our neighbors, with interest in their safety. With such motives, it is possible to observe God's law with our "whole heart." Such laws will then most likely affect our actions and reactions, as we truly seek to obey and honor God from the heart.

Psalm 119:35 Guide me in the pathway of your commandments, For in it I take delight.

GOD'S COMMANDMENTS A PATH TO FOLLOW. The psalmist again pleads to be instructed to remain on the path of life, the roadway leading to eternal life. He 'takes delight' in God's ways, and in His commandments, which, according to Psalm 19:8 are "pure and bright, enlightening the eyes." (AMP). God's commandments thus help us maintain purity, clean worship, which helps us maintain our keen spiritual vision, seeing the truth as it should be seen. This helps us deal with problems head on, finding workable solutions in our dealings and relationships with God and others, rather than blindly being led astray. How we should delight in God's commandments, and the privilege of maintaining pure worship to God, alongside fellow worshippers.

Psalm 119:36 Incline my heart to your reminders, Not to selfish gain.

GOD'S REMINDERS PROMOTE UNSELFISHNESS. As we are reminded of God's good guidance in life, we are helped to maintain an obedient course, in harmony with God's laws and standards. We are able to do this with a proper motive of genuine love for God and neighbor. Evidently, as a future king, the psalmist would eventually be in charge of much wealth, yet he refused to focus on "selfish gain," rather using whatever resources he had unselfishly to God's honor and purpose. How important to maintain clean and pure motives, and avoid even misusing other people or raising them up above God in some way for some purpose out of harmony with God's will. Jesus warned against devotion to Riches, or really any other God-dishonoring Master, saying at Matthew 6:24 "“No one can slave for two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. You cannot slave for God and for Riches." The psalmist thus chooses to worship and slave for God, Jehovah, still often rewarded materially, rather than seeking only selfish gain by Riches, an often harsh master. (Prove 3:10; 8:21).
_______
PSALM 119 STANZA 5B

Recall our theme for stanza 5 is WHOLE-HEARTED OBEDIENCE CAN BE (HAPPILY) CULTIVATED AND SUSTAINED OVER TIME. In verse 34, the psalmist expressed longing to observe God's law and keep it with his whole heart.

Verses 37-40 read this way: "Turn my eyes away from looking at what is worthless; Preserve me alive in your way. 38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, So that you may be feared. 39 Remove the disgrace that I dread, For your judgments are good. 40 See how I long for your orders. Preserve me alive in your righteousness."

Verse 37 Turn my eyes away from looking at what is worthless; Preserve me alive in your way.

SPURNING WHAT IS "WORTHLESS" Psalm 119:37 This verse shows an important consideration to maintaining godly obedience--being careful what we give attention to, especially what we choose to look at. We need the quality of discernment to judge between something of value spiritually and something "worthless." This quality helps us discern between right and wrong, true and false, good and bad, wise and unwise, and between more important matters and those less so but still required. We might add: between things of great value and those of less or no value. How would you value a close relationship with God? How about eternal life in true peace and happiness, and that of your loved ones and friends? Of course, the latter depends upon the former. Hopefully you've come to value both highly. If so, we should have no problem turning away from things that undermine, or threaten to take away, what we treasure most, choosing instead the things in harmony with God's right ways and standards. In this way we act in harmony with the psalmist's plea to be 'preserved alive in God's own way.' If you don't yet feel close to God, pray to Him more, with faith, or deep trust in Him and His desire to reward you for your loyalty. (Hebre 11:6). Confidently ask him for things you truly need, and experience His hand of assistance in your life, while you read His word for His guidance. In this way, "Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you..." (James 4:8).

Verse 38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, So that you may be feared.

"FULFILL YOUR PROMISE" Psalm 119:38 As a likely king or future king, the psalmist may have been making reference to a specific promise he received from God, perhaps the one to make him the king that God had anointed him to become, the fulfillment of which would demonstrate to others God's love, wisdom, power, and adherence to what is right. Thus, the writer of Psalm 119 is most likely David, after his anointing to become king, but before taking the throne while King Saul was opposing him. (1Chron 12:1-2,8,16-17). Jehovah is a Keeper of Promises. God has made many promises regarding His faithful servants, to sustain them through trials, for instance. Psalm 55:22 says: "Throw your burden on Jehovah, And he will sustain you. Never will he allow the righteous one to fall." God's support of His people surely brings Him glory, especially when His servants trust fully in Him and hold on to their integrity. May all possible come to thus "fear the true God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man." (Eccle 12:13).

Verse 39 Remove the disgrace that I dread, For your judgments are good.

GOD SAVED JESUS' REPUTATION. Psalm 119:39 No one enjoys receiving disgrace or shame from others, especially when we seek what is right by God. Even Jesus 'despised shame,' although he was ridiculed and impaled as though a terrible criminal (Hebre 12:2). Yet God proved what He can do to save one's reputation, exalting Jesus to have a name above every other name. (Phili 2:9). Thus, we should never give up, as long as we look to God with faith, or deep trust, in His desire and power to act in our behalf. Even if our own heart condemns us, remember that "God is greater than our hearts and knows all things." (1John 3:18-20). May we seek God's right ways and standards, and appreciate His judgments, or just evaluations. He can read hearts, and sees the love we show others. Yet, remember that no good deed gives us allowance to sin against God or our neighbor. So let us "hate what is bad" in the reverential fear of God, and pursue what is good, seeking His honor, trusting Him with our own reputation, as did faithful men of times past. Remaining faithful to God, we may look forward to a bright future. God has promised to remove the reproach from His true servants, as at Isaiah 25:8: "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it."

Verse 40 See how I long for your orders. Preserve me alive in your righteousness.

DELIGHT IN GOD'S ORDERS. Psalm 119:40 Thus the psalmist once again highlights his fondness for God's word and guidance. According to Psalm 19:8 God's orders are righteous, and cause "the heart to rejoice." Thus we find genuine joy in obedience to God, and this obedience can be sustained, preserving us alive in God's righteousness, with integrity to Him. God's right ways and standards are a protection in many ways, and form the way of eternity. May we thus treasure the privilege of doing things God's way, learning so that it becomes "first nature" to us! Why "second nature?" GOD'S WAY is the way He created us to live in the FIRST place. Let's get back to that, and experience the happiness and rewards of doing so! (Hebre 11:6)
_______
PSALM 119 STANZA 6A

Our theme for stanza 6 is this: LOYAL DEVOTION TO GOD REFINES OUR INTEGRITY AND STRENGTHENS OUR HOPE.

The first 4 verses read this way: "41 May I experience your loyal love, O Jehovah,Your salvation in harmony with your promise; 42 Then I will reply to the one taunting me, For I put my trust in your word. 43 Do not utterly remove the word of truth from my mouth, For I have hoped in your judgment. 44 I will keep your law constantly, Forever and ever."

Verse 41 May I experience your loyal love, O Jehovah, Your salvation in harmony with your promise.

"BECAUSE HE HAS AFFECTION FOR ME." Psalm 119:41 The psalmist thus shows that God's love for us would certainly move Him to bring us salvation through His judgment, in harmony with many such promises in His word. Psalm 91, evidently written by Moses, says this in verses 14-16: "God said: “Because he has affection for me, I will rescue him. I will protect him because he knows my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in distress. I will rescue him and glorify him. 16 I will satisfy him with long life, And I will cause him to see my acts of salvation.” All this because of our affectionate love for Jehovah, shown by our loyal obedience to Him (1John 5:3). Such an attachment to God personally, a close relationship with Him, moves Jehovah to respond loyally in return. "Draw close to God and He will draw close to you..." says James 4:8. Accordingly, our hope of salvation is thereby strengthened.

Verse 42 Then I will reply to the one taunting me, For I put my trust in your word.

A REPLY TO ONE TAUNTING. Psalm 119:42 God appeals, at Proverbs 27:11, "Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, So that I can make a reply to him who taunts me." Of course, in God's case, it has primarily been His opposer Satan who has taunted God for milleniums, from the time of his rebellion in the Garden of Eden, or Park of Pleasure, designed and created by Jehovah God. Satan taunted that he could turn Job away from his integrity to God, but in spite of all Satan did to hurt Job, he was faithful, and was doubly rewarded by Jehovah. (Job 42). Our loyal integrity to God makes His heart glad, giving Him a reply to Satan, and likewise, any who may taunt God's servants may as well see God's loving use of His power to protect and save them, allowing them to make a similar reply. May we continue to build deep trust, or faith, in God's inspired word, and in God Himself, becoming reliant upon Him. (Prove 3:5-8).

Verse 43 Do not utterly remove the word of truth from my mouth, For I have hoped in your judgment.

HONESTY ESSENTIAL TO INTEGRITY. Psalm 119:43 Genuine integrity to God involves honesty, speaking and acting in accord with the truth. As we put faith, or deep trust, in God's judgment, we are moved to trust the course of integrity. Integrity essentially means "wholeness or completeness without corruption." In Psalm 15, the course of integrity is essentially outlined, and includes "speaking the truth in [one's] heart." Removing the "word of truth" would result in a mouth of deception and trickery, and a loss of genuine integrity. May we trust Jehovah God's power to support His honest servants, who nevertheless know there is a "time to be silent" as well as a "time to speak."

Verse 44 I will keep your law constantly, Forever and ever.

WRITING GOD'S LAW ON OUR HEART. Psalm 119:44 Acquiring such integrity brings genuine joy of heart, being close to God, along with other devoted ones, moving us to want to experience such happiness "forever and ever," by keeping God's law "constantly." By thus making God's law OUR law, writing God's law on our heart, we are always able to live in a way that pleases God! May we find such delight as did the psalmist, and "get a firm hold on the real life," the everlasting life promised by our Creator, Jehovah, "to those who continue loving Him." (1Timo 6:19; James 1:12).
_______
CSL POINTS TO PONDER

1Peter 3 reminds godly wives to "be in subjection to your husbands, so that if any are not obedient to the word, they may be won without a word through the conduct of their wives, 2 because of having been eyewitnesses of your chaste conduct together with deep respect." Such qualities are treasured by humble, loving, God-fearing men, and may move some to have more love and fear of God. The true fear of God is a reverential respect for Him, fearing to displease Him in any way, refusing to hurt Him, out of love for Him and regard for His feelings. For a time the Israelites failed in this, as explained in Psalm 78:40,41: "How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness And made him feel hurt in the desert! 41 Again and again they put God to the test, And they grieved the Holy One of Israel." May we appreciate, and not take for granted, the love of our God!

1Timothy 3:1-2 "1 This statement is trustworthy: If a man is reaching out to be an overseer, he is desirous of a fine work. 2 The overseer should therefore be irreprehensible, a husband of one wife, moderate in habits, sound in mind, orderly, hospitable, qualified to teach." Thus begins the Scriptural qualifications for becoming a spiritual shepherd, or overseer of the flock of God. Such a person is reaching out, not for personal glory or material advantages, but rather, "a fine work." They are willing to shepherd the flock of God "not under compulsion, but willingly before God; not for love of dishonest gain, but eagerly; 3 not lording it over those who are God’s inheritance, but becoming examples to the flock." (1Peter 5:2,3). Such a man should be "irreprehensible," or above reproach. While certain kings in history God allowed to have more than one wife, generally a husband is required to have only one. He is to be "moderate," self-controlled, balanced and reasonable in habits. His soundness of mind would indicate a good sense of priorities in life. Being orderly, he would be reasonably organized in both space and time, tending toward punctuality. He would also be hospitable, a capable host, one thoughtful and considerate of his guests. And what shepherd should not be "qualified to teach?" Attendants to the overseers must meet many of the same qualifications as overseers. While serving as an attendant, or "ministerial servant" to the overseers, teaching ability is one of the differences qualifying one as an overseer. These qualifications continue further into 1Timothy chapter 3--these top the list. May we appreciate that it is Jehovah God who is to appoint such overseers and their attendants, by their being found, under prayer for His holy spirit, to be reasonably meeting such qualifications. If appointed appropriately, may we appreciate the services rendered by such faithful men.
_______
GREATEST MAN

Two more ideas excerpted from Jesus' most well-known sermon:

(2) "Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted." Many have not truly realized their spiritual need, or learned how to satisfy it, for much of their life, and upon coming to this realization are many times initially overcome with grief or sadness at what they've been missing or even how they may have been hurting others by their lack of spiritual qualities or values. (James 4:8-10). However, HAPPY they will become, because they WILL be comforted by God and His word because of their repentant heart condition, desirous of turning around and from now on appreciating spiritual things as the precious vital link to close relationships with Jehovah God and other humans (Mark 14:72; 1Cori 15:5; John 21:15-18)!

(3) "Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth." Being truly mild-tempered, or gently mild-mannered, can be an especially endearing quality for true Christians, one that, when properly motivated, may become an important part of the "new personality" that Christians are to "put on" as attire, even helping to preserve spirituality (Colos 3:9,10; Prove 15:1). This quality is a gentleness that pervades practically everything we do, not just when becoming upset for some reason (James 3:13). To be useful, this quality must be preceded by acquiring holiness or purity before God, and be accompanied by the recognition of the love that God has for humans in general and for us individually. Colossians 3:12 shows this, in saying: "Accordingly, as God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, clothe yourselves with the tender affections of compassion, kindness, humility, mildness, and patience." Without such, the quality could be feigned as righteousness, but hiding corruption within, as Proverbs 26:24-26 shows: "24 The one who hates others disguises it with his lips, But inside he harbors deceit. 25 Although he speaks graciously, do not trust him, For there are seven detestable things in his heart. 26 Though his hatred is concealed by deceit, His evil will be exposed in the congregation." True mild-mannered ones are happy because they "inherit the earth," either as kings over it, or as submissive ones privileged to live in peaceful paradise conditions upon it.

I believe I had interference from talking up the holiday as Christ's Family Weekend on the website this year, although many still likely heard, for Dec 27th and 28th; there is strong reason for caution, due to God's blessing potentially being removed from Dec 25. Some prophecies were fulfilled in recent years, including one about Job's cursing of the day of his birth, which both was historically Dec 25 and whose life foreshadowed Christ in some ways, prophetically. When God's blessing is on a day, He has often protected people from danger; For years now Jesus above (AzGod) has been saving thousands of lives weekly traveling roadways for instance. It is acknowledged that this went so misunderstood this year, without realizing a completely acceptable alternative in Christ's Family Weekend, but God and Jesus Christ above still have made clear that safe travel cannot be guaranteed for Dec 25. Why not open some gifts on the evening of the 24th, and save the rest for Christ's Family Weekend, on the 27th and 28th, good days for traveling to family, etc. for the same. To the extent that we do such things, we will please both God and Christ, showing faith in their word. Be careful what you do on the 25th, seeking God's approval, and pray about the matter if there are already plans made on that day. (y.B24,oC20 Sat 6:08; 7:16; 8:55 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! I've worked on another article of interest which I aim to post/update before 10am or so. Also, some are familiar with my God's View of Celebrations article under the Misc. Heading, which I haven't updated for some time but helps with understanding God's balanced view of holidays, and that we should seek His view of matters. George Washington instituted Thanksgiving, which even has a correlation in God's word to a Harvest Festival required of God's people to commemorate each year! God certainly wants us to be thankful, at one time there was more confusion regarding the caution Jesus gave about a "world" (Greek "cosmos"), which had to do with a corrupt version of worship, essentially the "Babylon the Great" of Revelation. It is acceptable to God for us to have chosen important days to be holidays, we just need to respect His view of matters. I aim to review that Celebrations article sometime in the near future, and post an update. POSTED the First Portion of the Persistent Article (PA) GA, " 1A) Sum More Orderly Time (8-Day Calendar) " ! More to follow... (Also update to BP3, Persistent Article, CTC More Orderly Time--Month and Daynames). (This BP1 PA) GA, Sum More Orderly Time, Posted More . Still more to come. More Posted , last portion not being rushed. Updates. (y.A33,oB26Wed 7:51; 8:05,22,30,36 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Keeping PR-A(7.5) up, Added PR-A(7.6), Proverbs A, chapter 7, verses 24-27. Updates. (y.A32,oB25Tue 6:17,51,56; 7:48; 8:26 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Let me apologize for the delay. Posted (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(7.5), chapter 7, verses 7-10, 21-23 . Also note yesterday's post of (8A) Come to Consensus Corner, Avoid Driving Under the Influence . (Alcohol leaves the bloodstream over time. So to avoid driving under the influence means that IF alcohol is consumed, then it should still not be strong enough when driving begins to be substantially influencing your driving actions, reactions, etc. Largely, and in terms of law, the BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) limit is the determining factor, and this can be fairly accounted for by considering beverages consumed and time spent following their consumption.) ALSO, moved more notes to Former Notes, you may scroll down for another Article List of Posts from 11/02-11/15. (y.A31,oB24Mon 6:47; 7:12,23,29 am; 8:23,35 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Also planning the post of a (8) Come to Consensus Corner policy on Driving Under the Influence, and other posts. Updates. (y.A26Min,oB19Wed 6:58; 10:12,20 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Also planning addition to (1A) Golden Apples, article Low Water Response/Conservation . Added paragraph, Hydration. Update. (y.A25Rih,oB18Tue 6:35; 9:21 am; 5:01,16 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (1A) Golden Apples, Low Water Response/Conservation . ALSO, added (5) Eternal Express, Comprehend God's Love in Christ . ADDED , to (1A) Golden Apples, How the Kingdom of God Relates to the (Proper) U.S. (Democratic) Constitutional Republic NOTE on (y.A16,oB09Sun): Asking for continued prayers for God's continued blessing on our seeking His will, on humbly acknowledging His hand on having made our nation great in the past, with His blessing on the Founders and Spirit-inspired documents, together comprising another holy book or collection, founding our government as it should be, although we've needed His help to apply it properly and see the God-blessed results with better unity, harmony, and cooperation, some of which was in evidence or growing for a time last year, 2024. Some wondered if our entire form of government needed to be thrown out, but this was not the case--God's blessing is not upon such an effort, and it actually threatens our Having His blessing on our nation to be His means of blessing all others! Our history reveals the progress toward peace that was in evidence over many decades, and God's blessing through His Kingdom on our efforts to respect the Democratic Constitutional Republic that the Founders established as our true God-blessed government, that can again become still more cooperative and effective in seeking the good of our people and humanity. It can take great and cooperative effort to make things right sometimes when it's necessary. Nevertheless, with God's help, we can still "Restore Good, and Move Forward"! I intended to post earlier, ask for prayers again on things taking place as they rightly should, with God's blessing. Real effort to make things right, His way, will be blessed by Him and help get us back on track, or keep us on track for restored peace, the kind of peace former President Ronald Reagan and others did much to help move us toward by the hand of God or His Son above, Jesus Christ. We have been close to having this peace, and greater, worldwide, and many by God's spirit have been working together with me toward this, really all cooperating with God's will for a truly peaceful world! Still, may prayers continue that the true President of the United States, the true winner of the 2024 Presidential election, which was not Donald Trump, can become known as such, being blessed by God to be or become as this one should be and still can be, with at least gradual acknowledgement of the truth as it becomes more known or clear to the many truthlovers and supporters in our nation, our public, the world, our government, our news media, and so on. ALSO, I've added a new article under Persistent Articles, entitled: A Word At It's Right Time, and Good Humor . Highlighting posts, etc. (y.924Fwn,oA14Tue 5:08; 7:26 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added a former post as a PA, called On the War in Gaza , something regarding it's origin and God's long-term solution. An update to (8A) CTC, Zeroeing Traffic Deaths and Minimizing Accidents is upcoming, as well as another (3) Proverbs A, chapter 6, PR-A(6.3) . Posted the (3) Proverbs 6 verses 12-19 first. (y.923Clm,oA13Mon 10:05 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Praise to God through His Son above, Prince or Ruler of Peace, and King of Kings, for any contributions made to 'making wars cease'. Let your prayers continue that the peace process continue in Gaza, that aid flows in again for the people, as children of God there, and for God's blessing on all sides for their efforts toward a peaceful world. I know there are similar sentiments toward Ukraine and Russia, and in other areas. Working on a few things to post, sometime today or soon. (y.920Wdn,oA10Fri 9:41 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added (4B) Psalm 119 Stanza 20A&B . (y.919Too,oA09Thu 6:33-35 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added (4B) Psalm 119 Preview Stanzas 20-22 . (y.917Son,oA07Tue 6:05,24 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well!
