Hello, wishing you a safe and pleasant day, remaining careful and thoughtfully considerate of others. Let's continue in Proverbs 16, with verses 20-24, then review another selection from the Mosaic Law, replay the TWGA with possibly life-saving Hands-only CPR instruction and the weekly CTC Corner.
"20 The one who shows insight in a matter will find success, And happy is the one trusting in Jehovah. 21 The wise in heart will be called understanding, And the one kind in speech adds persuasiveness. 22 Insight is a fountain of life to those possessing it, But fools are disciplined by their own foolishness. 23 The heart of the wise one gives his mouth insight And adds persuasiveness to his speech. 24 Pleasant sayings are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and a healing to the bones."
INSIGHT? Prove 16:20 What then is insight? It is a compassionate or empathetic comprehension of other's circumstances, a seeing beyond the obvious to understand what has led up to a situation or incident. This may be seen by comparing Proverbs 19:11, which says: "The insight of a man certainly slows down his anger, and it is beauty on his part to overlook an offense." Compassionately grasping what caused or led up to "an offense" by another, we are better able to overlook it, or forgive the person for what was done. For example, at work a woman approaches another man for some information she needs, but he is rather rude to her. Rather than let it rattle her, she uses insight to ask him why he is speaking in such a way to her. He apologizes, and realizes that it was because he had recently bought a new dress shirt, and just spilled his coffee on it. With such insight into the situation, she readily forgives him, and he proceeds to kindly give her the information she needed. She thus found "success" (lit., "good") in the matter, and remained happy as she trusted in Jehovah's way of handling matters.

WISDOM, KINDNESS.
Prove 16:21 The gaining of true wisdom is worth great effort, as it brings untold blessings and hope of life to it's owner. While it seeks the honor and glory of Jehovah and holds to His elevated standards, still one blessing from God is His watchcare of one's reputation in the long-term. Right-hearted ones of mankind will see and appreciate the wisdom we work hard to cultivate. Still, as Christ foretold, we may have to endure negative talk or even persecution by some for a time, but our enduring it with kindness may even in time persuade some persecutors to the truth.
"22 Insight is a fountain of life to those possessing it, But fools are disciplined by their own foolishness."
INSIGHT! Prove 16:22 Here insight is contrasted with foolishness. Insight is a "fountain of life," as compassionately seeking to understand others makes it possible to teach them effectively, especially important with spiritual matters leading them to eternal life. A fool however may not often seek this, but if so it is typically for selfish purposes, as he or she is normally rather self-centered. The foolishness of his reactions may discipline him in some way, although he normally scoffs at advice from others, being "right in his own eyes." (Prove 12:15). The fool needs to appreciate kind counsel from loved ones, being helped to gain godly fear with discernment and foresighted prudence to see the consequences of good and bad decisions, to reject the bad along with its associated problems. God gives us His guidance to save us from grief and trouble, as He knows best how we can maintain true happiness!
"23 The heart of the wise one gives his mouth insight And adds persuasiveness to his speech."
EMPATHETIC SPEECH.
Prove 16:23 Recall that "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." (Matth 12:34b). A wise-hearted one with insight then, will compassionately speak with such insight, with kindness, and prove to be more persuasive, helping others gain more understanding of matters. Notice that a wise one sees the value of speaking with insight, or empathy. A truly wise heart is also loving--is not Jehovah the God who "IS love" (1John 4:8)? Therefore true love motivates all He does, and guided His acquisition of wisdom. So while humans need certain things in place to grow in love, and a complete love is a crowning goal to acheive, once the right motivation is obtained, an important aspect of true love, it may guide the acquisition of true knowledge, wisdom, and further empathetic understanding of others. May such ever be used to honor and please God, and be used by Him with pure motive to unselfishly care for others, and experience the rewards that only God can provide. Hebrews 11:6 says "Moreover, without faith it is impossible to please God well, for whoever approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him."
"24 Pleasant sayings are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and a healing to the bones."
"PLEASANT SAYINGS." Prove 16:24 May we treasure "pleasant sayings," especially those coming from God's word, that are encouraging, upbuilding, and positive. True wisdom contributes to speech that is "healing," as Proverbs 12:18 says "...the tongue of the wise is a healing." Do you treasure sayings that have such a positive effect on you or others, strengthening them spiritually, to bolster their love for God and others, helping them find a happy course in life? We might search the Scriptures for such sayings, and come to know and love many of them, to help others and ourselves to stand firmly for God's righteousness, His right ways and standards that serve as a framework for a happy and successful life and family, leading to God's reward of endless life.

MOSAIC LAW SELECTION
CHRISTIAN STANDARD: PRINCIPLED LOVE TEACHES OTHERS ABOUT GOD COMPASSIONATELY, ESPECIALLY THOSE YOUNGER IN SPIRITUALITY.
Now let’s consider Exodus 23:19: “You are to bring the best of the
first ripe fruits of your ground to the house of Jehovah your God. “You
must not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.”
SACRIFICES OF PRAISE.
This isn’t the only time these two commands appear together—they are
actually repeated at Exodus 34:26! What could they possibly have in
common? Well, let’s start with the first one—the Israelites were to
offer their best to Jehovah in sacrifice, and in this case the best of
the first ripe fruits—to be brought to Jehovah’s house for sacrifice,
and of use to the attending priests. Attending priests were to present
them before Jehovah, and this would be a way for Israelites to credit
Jehovah with all of the fruits harvested from the ground, and thanking
Him for His blessing on their efforts. The priests would also benefit,
as they had no ground to cultivate, and relied upon what was brought to
them from other tribes of Israel. How do God’s people today benefit?
What sacrifices do Christians present to Jehovah God today? For one, we
may offer sacrifices of praise to Jehovah, by sharing Kingdom truth to
others. Hebrews 13:15,16 mentions this and other sacrifices, in these
words: “15 Through him [Jesus] let us always offer to God a sacrifice of
praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that make public declaration to
his name. 16 Moreover, do not forget to do good and to share what you
have with others, for God is well-pleased with such sacrifices.”
SPEAKING WITH COMPASSION.
Thus the apostle Paul makes reference to the “fruit of our lips,” along
with publicly declaring God’s name. In speaking about God to others, we
therefore should not “boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.” What
could this mean? As we share the Bible’s message with others, teaching
them about God, should we not make sure we speak compassionately,
especially with those “younger” in their spirituality, in their
knowledge about God? The purpose of milk is to nourish the young—never
should such elementary nourishment be turned toward harmful speech that
crushes tender hearts! Especially should a young one’s own parents offer
loving, tender encouragement toward them wherever possible. Thus Paul
relates that he and his companions demonstrated sincere, compassionate
motives in teaching those in Thessalonica, saying, at 1Thessalonians
2:5-8, “5 In fact, you know that we never used flattering speech or put
on any false front with greedy motives; God is witness! 6 Nor have we
been seeking glory from men, either from you or from others, though we
could be an expensive burden as apostles of Christ. 7 On the contrary,
we became gentle in your midst, as when a nursing mother tenderly cares
for her own children. 8 So having tender affection for you, we were
determined to impart to you, not only the good news of God but also our
very selves, because you became so beloved to us.” May we likewise be
sensitive to the needs and feelings of others, especially as they begin
their walk with God, getting to know our loving Father and Life-giver,
the God who is love, Jehovah. (1John 4:8). Acknowledging God’s hand in
our “fruit of lips” may go a long way toward ensuring that our speech is
used to His honor, truly benefitting our listeners.

Acts 10:34-35: “34 At this Peter began to speak, and he said: “Now I truly understand that God is not partial, 35 but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
Leviticus 24:22 “‘One judicial decision will apply for you, whether a foreign resident or a native, because I am Jehovah your God.’”
Deuteronomy 1:16 “At that time I instructed your judges, ‘When you hear a case between your brothers, you are to judge with righteousness between a man and his brother or a foreign resident. 17 You must not be partial in judgment. You should hear the small one the same as the great one. You must not become intimidated by men, for the judgment belongs to God; and if a case is too difficult for you, you should present it to me, and I will hear it.’”
WHY A SOURCE OF DIVISION? Certainly this ranks high among the issues in history that has been a source of tension and division when God’s view of the matter is not being held or appreciated. Why is that? Humans have been made in God’s image, and we read of God at Deuteronomy 32:4: “4 The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness who is never unjust; Righteous and upright is he.” Therefore, if He is a God who is unswervingly fair and just, then each of us has within us at least the potential for a determined inclination to want to be treated fairly and justly, and to treat others in the same way, regardless of our gender, the color of our skin, the size of our wallet or purse, or any other such factor.
JUSTICE AND INTEGRITY. The verse just highlighted says that “all [God’s] ways are justice.” One of the Bible proverbs, found in Proverbs 11:3, says this of men: “3 The integrity of the upright is what guides them, But the deviousness of the treacherous will destroy them.” Thus all that upright men do is prompted by their “integrity.” What is “integrity”? It essentially involves undeviating adherence to a certain good standard or set of standards, and is closely associated with truth and honesty. The well-known man of Bible record named Job, pronounced “Jobe” as rhyming with “robe,” had such a disposition as it related to good, upright conduct and dealings with others. The Bible record describes him as “an upright man of integrity; he feared God and shunned what was bad.” (Job 1:1). He lived even before the time of Moses, and while he became wealthy, he was well-loved and respected for his fair and just treatment of others.
GOD’S GOODNESS. This godly justice became like clothing to him—identifying him. In Job 29, he says: “11 Whoever heard me would speak well of me, And those who saw me would testify for me.12 For I would rescue the poor who cried for help, Along with the fatherless child and anyone who had no helper.13 The one about to perish would bless me, And I made the heart of the widow rejoice.14 I put on righteousness as my clothing; My justice was like a robe and a turban.15 I became eyes to the blind And feet to the lame.16 I was a father to the poor; I would investigate the legal case of those I did not know.17 I would break the jaws of the wrongdoer And tear the prey away from his teeth.” Thus Job’s integrity guided him to uphold good, right and fair conduct in dealing compassionately with others. Job did need correction for exalting his own righteousness more than God’s, but he accepted this correction (Job 42). Thus, it is Jehovah God who ultimately moves us to do good, to save and rescue and treat others worthily, as we seek His honor, upholding His ways. Romans 8:28 says in part “We know that God makes all his works cooperate together for the good of those who love God.” With Job’s integrity being described in chapter 30, it was largely his fear of displeasing God, involving a hatred of badness and it’s resulting harm, that moved him to speak and act the way he did.

GOD’S KINGDOM RULE.
Thus, this has everything to do with the rule of God’s Kingdom. This rulership, rather than ignoring God and His counsel, will actually uphold and fear, or highly regard, Him and His ways. People will be treated with the dignity that they should be, as they continue learning how to love Jehovah and live by Christian laws and standards. Jesus certainly set an example as one putting God first, giving Him due honor, upholding His word and law. Thus the king of God’s Kingdom, installed by God, will likewise, as foretold, live, speak, and act by God’s standards. A prophecy in Psalm 72, for instance, says: “72 O God, give your judgments to the king, And endow the son of the king with your righteousness. 2 May he plead the cause of your people with righteousness, And of your lowly ones with justice. 3 May the mountains bring peace to the people, And may the hills bring righteousness. 4 Let him defend the lowly among the people, Let him save the sons of the poor, And let him crush the defrauder. 5 They will fear you as long as there is a sun And as long as the moon remains, For generation after generation...12 For he will rescue the poor who cry for help, Also the lowly one and whoever has no helper.13 He will have pity on the lowly and the poor, And the lives of the poor he will save.14 From oppression and from violence he will rescue them, And their blood will be precious in his eyes.”
HAVING GOD’S VIEW. In verse 1, this one is endowed with God’s righteousness. Thus any expression of compassion is manifested in harmony with God’s elevated laws and standards—not merely human ideas. Thus God’s word would be shared freely by this one, helping many to adhere to it’s beneficial standards. (Matthew 4:4). It is therefore true loyal love that is shown, which seeks the long-term benefit of each person, in agreement with the will of God for the endless peace and happiness of humankind. Verse 2 indicates that mistreated ones would find true justice, which includes mercy where appropriate in God’s view. Verse 4 shows the poor receive salvation, whether materially destitute, or those lacking spiritually, though deeply wanting to receive spiritual nourishment. Verse 5 shows appreciative ones will loyally respond in the genuine fear of God, eternally grateful and deeply respectful of His divine guidance and law. Verse 12 reminds us of Job’s expression of integrity, as God’s chosen one likewise rescues those in need of help. And verses 13-14 show they will be saved even from oppression and violence, as God’s kingdom begins in the near future, such ones being viewed as precious in his eyes, rather than as having little to offer the king.
CONCLUSION
GOD’S FAIR RULE! Thus it should be abundantly clear that God’s Kingdom will rule based on truth and law, in harmony with God, especially the “royal law” of true love, as made manifest in the earthly life of Jesus Christ. Rather than advantaged ones concerned that they might not be shown favoritism, or be treated with partiality, all persons will be favored with the joy of true love shown to one another and life experienced in line with God’s beneficial and peaceable ways. God's standards of justice are clear in God's word, and will be upheld in His new world under the rule of His Kingdom. Such injustices as bigotry, prejudice, and racism, will no longer be accepted. Isaiah 32:1 foretells: "Look! A king will reign for righteousness, And princes will rule for justice." Deuteronomy 19:15 for instance, shows that true justice is God's standard: “‘You must not be unjust in your judgment. You must not show partiality to the poor or show preference to the rich. With justice you should judge your fellow man." While persons will be treated fairly, we will still have a relatively free market society, but especially blessed by God, where people can pursue even dream jobs and make their life largely what they put into it. And of course, also rest and relaxation, engaging in hobbies and recreational activities, delighting in the company of friends of peace. Many will really delight in making a living doing something they truly enjoy that benefits others in large or small ways. In time, Isaiah 14:7 will prove true, saying: "7 The whole earth has come to rest, has become free of disturbance. People have become cheerful with joyful cries." With God’s full blessing, the result will be a secure, peaceful, happy and prosperous society of God-fearing persons, continuing to learn and be reminded of God’s delightful ways to live their lives in full harmony with them.

So the winter does end a little sooner than perhaps in times past as God has willed it, despite a trick that was causing it to appear to be sooner than it should have been. We are now currently about 1 1/4 months difference between the 7-Day and 8-Day Calendars, but it may be best to continue with the 7-Day this year in the U.S., until we can build enough consensus to switch with much of the world to the current or true 400-day calendar; we would be off about 2 months by year's end. I had found out that a long time ago God actually gave permission to use His name without the plural 'z' ending. Still, He is 'the First and the Last', 'the Alpha and the Omega', 'the A and the Z'. To be clear, Lunarday would normally be a New Moon, not a Full Moon. At one time, GOD had the moon phases lining up with the 8-day calendar, so that the 33/34 day month was the moon's cycle, and the moon phases were always on the weekends--new moon, quarter/first-half moon, full moon, etc. At some point He dropped that when we weren't yet acknowledging the new calendar. But this is something He can or will do when we do begin to recognize it more officially, as other countries have around the world.
