TEN COMMANDMENTS
Exodus 20:1-20,GNB [Brackets additional]
The GNB's text of the Ten Commandments of Exodus 20:1-20,GNB [Brackets additional] Also, God's proper name after verse 1 has replaced 'the LORD' (LORD all caps)
1. God spoke, and these were his words:
2. *I am the LORD [JEHOVALZ] your God who brought you out of Egypt, where you were slaves.
3. *Worship no god but me.
4. *Do not make for yourselves images of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the earth.
5. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it, because I am Jehovalz your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me and on their descendants down to the third and fourth generation.
6. But I show my love to thousands of generations of those who love me and obey my laws.
7. *Do not use my name for evil purposes, for I, Jehovalz your God, will punish anyone who misuses my name.
8. *Observe the Sabbath and keep it holy.
9. You have six days in which to do your work,
10. but the seventh day is a day of rest dedicated to me. On that day no one is to work---neither you, your children, your slaves, your animals, nor the foreigners who live in your country.
11. In six days I, Jehovalz, made the earth, the sky, the seas, and everything in them, but on the seventh day I rested. That is why I, Jehovalz, blessed the Sabbath and made it holy.
12. *Respect your father and your mother, so that you may live a long time in the land that I am giving you.
13. *Do not commit murder.
14. *Do not commit adultery.
15. *Do not steal.
16. *Do not accuse anyone falsely.
17. *Do not desire another man's house; do not desire his wife, his slaves, his cattle, his donkeys, or anything else that he owns.*
The People Afraid of God’s Presence
18. When the people heard the thunder and the trumpet blast and saw the lightning and the smoking mountain, they trembled with fear and stood a long way off.
19. They said to Moses, *If you speak to us, we will listen; but we are afraid that if God speaks to us, we will die.*
20. Moses replied, *Don't be afraid; God has only come to test you and make you keep on obeying him, so that you will not sin.*

THEME:
FINDING JOY AND REAL GROWTH
Receiving God's word through Christ in faith, you will find that...
from Matthew 5:1-11, GNB
v.01 Jesus saw the crowds and went up a hill, where he sat down. His disciples gathered around him,
v.02 and he began to teach them:
v.03 Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor; the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them!
(1) Even a person having more money may be spiritually poor, but it takes honesty to find joy and really grow--the Kingdom by heaven is for such ones!
v.04 Happy are those who mourn; God will comfort them!
(2) Coming to understand or realize the truth about something or oneself sometimes brings a godly sorrow, feelings of sadness that God comforts with real promises, help or improvement, and other things that lets joy remain and still become full-grown!
v.05 Happy are those who are humble; they will receive what God has promised!
(3) Finding joy are those humbly respecting others more than themselves--God's promises will be fulfilled upon them!
v.06 Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires; God will satisfy them fully!
(4) Finding joy are those who make it their greatest yearning and desire to do what God requires or rightly expects--He will satisfy them fully!
v.07 Happy are those who are merciful to others; God will be merciful to them!
(5) Finding joy are those inclined to forgive and are really full of mercy--God will really show mercy to them!
v.08 Happy are the pure in heart; they will see God!
(6) Finding joy are those pure, chaste or clean in heart, in all their intentions--they will see God!
v.09 Happy are those who work for peace; God will call them his children!
(7) Finding joy are those really working for peace; God will call them His sons and daughters.
v.10 Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires; the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them!
(8) Finding joy are those who endure occasional unfair treatment because they do what God requires or rightly expects--the Kingdom from heaven is for such ones!
v.11-12 Happy are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you because you are my followers. Be happy and glad, for a great reward is kept for you in heaven. This is how the prophets who lived before you were persecuted.
(9) Finding joy are YOU (as a group) when being insulted, unfairly treated, and spoken against with demeaning untruths of all kinds for the reason of being my closest followers (the anointed bride of Christ). Be joyful and happy, for great reward is held for you (personally) in heaven. Similarly treated were the prophets who lived before you.

CHRISTIAN SMALL LETTER HIGHLIGHTS
APPRECIATING DIVINE TRUTH, REPENTING, GROWING SPIRITUALLY
SPIRITUAL GROWTH. 2Peter 1:5-8 contains crucial steps to spiritual development. Let’s remark as we go through each one. The foundation is our faith, or thankful trust, primarily in Jehovaz God, and His Son Jehoshaz (Joshua) [Jesus' more accurate given name, and original designation in English], God’s word, and this one's ransom sacrifice. Having such, we would come to trust also in God's Kingdom to truly solve mankind's problems. Built on faith, other attributes are needed. The verses read as follows: “5 For this very reason, put forth all earnest effort to supply to your faith virtue (godly attributes such as purity of heart, and true hope), to your virtue knowledge (including knowledge of God’s law through Christ), 6 to your knowledge self-control (needed to obey God’s law), to your self-control endurance (to obey over time through trials), to your endurance godly devotion (close attachment to Jehovaz personally), 7 to your godly devotion brotherly affection (pure friendship with other God-fearing persons), to your brotherly affection love (unselfishness looking for best interests of all, in harmony with godly wisdom). 8 For if these things exist in you and overflow, they will prevent you from being either inactive or unfruitful regarding the accurate knowledge of our Lord Jehoshaz Christ.”

THEME: SHOWING DUE RESPECT
Showing due respect (for authority, persons, and their right to adequate health, perhaps even wealth, and to ownership and possession, as in the Tenth Commandment and as part of a civilized society) should be duly respected itself as God would have us do, as a cornerstone of His lawl through Christ, and of the Republic that the Founding Fathers of the United States established to govern this nation properly, through the inspired Federalist Papers, the inspired Constitution of the United States, and other inspired holy writings (including the Bible, the Declaration of Independence, the Divine Right of Kings, and the Articles of Confederation, a stepping stone leading to the Constitution).

(26:03.02 (Sha) or y26.302 or d.302 or :3.02, o4/9/26 6:53,56 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! A new blogpost, 3A! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 4 verses 1-8, PR-A(04.1). On post 3B, added (4A) Psalm 119 Preview of Stanzas 15-19, and on post 3C, added (7) Proverbs B, chapter 17 verses 15-20, PR-B(17.5). On the 8-Day this is March or Shuay the 2nd, which is the actual beginning of Spring, again by the 8-Day Calendar! So the winter does end a little sooner than perhaps in times past as God has willed it, despite a trick that was causing it to appear to be sooner than it should have been. We are now currently about 1 1/4 months difference between the 7-Day and 8-Day Calendars, but it may be best to continue with the 7-Day this year in the U.S., until we can build enough consensus to switch with much of the world to the current or true 400-day calendar; we would be off about 2 months by year's end. LAST MONTH 2026 02/12 SPECIAL ADDITIONS AND NOTES NOTE : God's name in some places uses the ( ) for the last letter z. I had found out that a long time ago God actually gave permission to use His name without the plural 'z' ending. Still, He is 'the First and the Last', 'the Alpha and the Omega', 'the A and the Z'. In the case of 'Jehovah(z)', it evidently is still the case, although there is something else to add to this, in the article on the Names of God and His Son; look for this coming up.
