UPDATE 0807EDT, "opening remarks." Welcome, wishing you a safe and fine day, remaining cautious and considerate. The story about my recent fonts may have made the news, so allow me to detail and clarify a few things in today's TWGA, which should be ready a little earlier than usual, by about 0800 EDT, US. Let's continue in Proverbs 17 with verses 8-10, then consider a selection from Christian Small Letters, today's TWGA, and the weekly CTC Corner.
Proverbs 17:8-10
"8 A gift is like
a precious stone to its owner; Everywhere he turns, it brings him
success. 9 Whoever forgives a transgression seeks love, But the one who
keeps harping on a matter separates close friends. 10 A rebuke makes a
deeper impression on one having understanding Than striking a stupid
person a hundred times."
GIFT ADVANTAGE.
Prove 17:8 This is Jehovah's word--perhaps a colorful cut gemstone
can have a positive influence?! But how fine a useful gift from
someone--let's be mindful of others and their needs, not just our own.
"9 Whoever forgives a transgression seeks love, But the one who
keeps harping on a matter separates close friends."
AIMING TO FORGIVE. Prove 17:9 What insight! With love in our hearts, we don't wish for someone to suffer excessive sorrow over a minor mistake--rather, we're eager in love to forgive them, and try not to bring it up again and again. This does not mean every mistake must be forgiven readily as if no mistake ever took place--an individual should be repentant over a wrong if we're to trust them in a similar matter in the future. Still, we want to forgive them wherever we reasonably can. An unforgiving person, on the other hand, is dealing treacherously with relationships, is being disloyal to God and others by not seeking to resolve a matter in peace.
"10 A rebuke makes a
deeper impression on one having understanding Than striking a stupid
person a hundred times."
A LOVING REBUKE. Prove 17:10 Let's help our dear young ones to grow in understanding by answering their questions whenever possible, not telling them that they ask too many questions, but rather, realizing that this is how they grow in understanding of life. Perhaps just help them learn to be more choosy in the questions they ask. Encourage them to ask you, especially regarding things pertaining to divine knowledge of God and spirituality. Your loving corrections may well reach deeper in their hearts, reducing need of stronger discipline.

FURTHER CAUTIONS FOR CHRISTIANS
WHO HINDERED YOU?
Galatians 5:7-10 reveals how easy it could be for one to persuade us
away from the truth, if we're not careful. This was happening to the
Galatians, as the apostle Paul reveals in these verses: "7 You were
running well. Who hindered you from continuing to obey the truth? 8 This
sort of persuasion does not come from the One calling you. 9 A little
leaven ferments the whole batch of dough. 10 I am confident that you who
are in union with the Lord will not come to think otherwise; but the
one who is causing you trouble, whoever he may be, will receive the
judgment he deserves." We must be careful to uphold the truth of God,
again, letting God's word always trump the ideas of man (Romans 3:4). Be
alert to the misleading use of lies and half-truths, and other speech
designed to confuse others for selfish purposes, be they for wealth or
power, for material or other gain. May any such troublemakers repent of
their errors, while God may show them mercy. (Isaiah 55:6-7).
DOING YOUR BEST.
Galatians 6:4,7,8 highlight some important concepts for finding genuine
peace in life and being protected from spiritual harm and corruption.
Verse 4 highlights the value of avoiding an unhealthy competitive
spirit, comparing ourselves with others, often causing either excessive
pride on the one hand, or self-defeating discouragement on the other.
Such a spirit works against true love. How much better to focus on your
own work, seeking to continually improve by the week, month and year!
Verse 4 puts it this way: "But let each one examine his own actions, and
then he will have cause for rejoicing in regard to himself alone, and
not in comparison with the other person." By doing this, we can avoid
harmful jealousy, with its detrimental effects on relationships.
MAKING SPIRITUAL MATTERS PRIMARY.
Verses 7,8 provide a further important caution against spiritual harm,
realizing however that God says this to protect us from danger: "Do not
be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a person is sowing,
this he will also reap; 8 because the one sowing with a view to his
flesh will reap corruption from his flesh, but the one sowing with a
view to the spirit will reap everlasting life from the spirit." If we
sow poison ivy, we will not reap grapes, will we? We should sow with a
view to spiritual things, seeking God's pleasure as we live in harmony
with His will. He wants us to enjoy life, we just need to do so in
harmony with His standards, which promote true happiness. Seeking
pleasures without regard for God results in troubles, pain, and grief in
the end. Doing things God's way leads to eternal blessings, even with a
loyal marriage partner. We need to see things from God's standpoint, as
His word enlightens us and brings us true wisdom. Regarding this, His
word says "All other desirable things cannot compare to it." Godly
wisdom brings delight as we practice it, and brings greater purpose and
joy to the other pleasures in life, given by God, the giver of every
good gift and perfect present. (James 1:17).
THRICE WEEKLY GOLDEN APPLES (TWGA)
As mentioned previously, my recent font creations may be in the news currently, so I wish to detail and clarify a few things.
FONT DEVELOPMENT.
While a programmer in my youth, and an AutoCAD drafter for several
years, despite a little confusion, my work has not been in font-creating--While mostly giving
attention to God's will for me currently, I did have an idea weeks ago, a
curiosity about whether a certain geometric pattern could produce a
complete alphabet, and this became a 16-bit font called ENDURANCE, that
could either display both letters and numbers, or display only letters
with a more appealing look. Other fonts followed, 32-bit, 64-bit, and
128-bit as well. The full 64-bit fonts built on ENDURANCE are called
DILIGENT DYNAMO and JUST DYNAMO, and are at least among the FASTEST
DISPLAYING fonts in history, and if used in a computer system, can
actually speed up computer processing considerably. The others, however,
are built both for better looks and speed, also speeding up processing
by varying degrees. Their names are CONTOUR DYNAMIC (64-bit) and RADIANT
(64-bit), and FORTITUDE COMPLETE (64-bit), FORTITUDE REFINE (128-bit),
and FORTIFY (64-bit). Lastly, FASHIONABLE (64-bit, limited) and
ORDINARILY GOOD (128-bit).
A PATENT ISSUE.
Let me say this--the patent that I share with another on accenting a
line font was from the beginning non-inclusive of our personal fonts--both mine and his. It gives me full rights to the fonts that I personally created,
without requiring a royalty to go to the one I share the patent with--we
both had the same idea, and there were enough differences in our ideas
that I could have created my own patent, with God's approval, but out of
respect for his idea similar to mine, I agreed to partner with him,
making the changes necessary to the patent to prove effective, and it
would apply for any OTHER fonts besides his or mine that may benefit from the
technique. All this is detailed in the patent that both he and I AGREED
TO (BEFORE GOD) days ago. The technique improves the look of a line
font, but of course for it to look nice, the font has to look good to
start with. I have other patents that improve greatly the speed of font
display, that this patented technique does not immediately benefit from.
(0600EDT) Apparently a news source was lacking complete information regarding the shared patent, as
explained above, and this is creating confusion. Unwarranted claims were
attempted. My fonts were created and patented personally, without using
other patented ideas, with God and the patent office able to check
against other patents. As explained before, my idea to improve a line
font was different enough from an earlier patent that I could claim my
own, and apparently God is invoking this right to restore the other
individual's original patent, and create mine separately. Anyone wishing
to use his patent idea may do so (or, one may request to use mine.)
While this became necessary, I am offering to him a 10% royalty in my
128-bit font ORDINARILY GOOD. This is retro-active to some recent
inclusion in purchases by sports stadium jumbotrons--his part would be
$2 million. He will receive this either upon my receipt of payment or as
part of it, and my wish is for him to maintain his royalty share going
forward. While 128-bit, it still benefits from my patented font-display
speed improvements immediately. Any of this may be amended if it is determined that spell-casters are to blame!
Just to clarify, most who read my website and blog realize that I have much more going on than font creation, although this has been an interesting and hopefully beneficial experience for many going forward!
_______COME TO CONSENSUS CORNER
Week 14: ISSUE BY ISSUE ADDRESSED BY GOD’S KINGDOM: Drunk Driving
ALCOHOL’S EFFECTS. While deaths caused by drunk driving may have been dropping a little over the past few years, most would agree that more needs to be done. Each year, in the United States, over 10,000 people lose their lives to an accident caused by at least one person driving drunk. It is well established that drinking alcohol lowers a person’s inhibitions, or restraints. In other words, alcohol allows the brain to relax, and to a degree, to let loose. This letting loose contributes to many temporarily becoming more outgoing, social. Wine is thus presented in God's word as a gift to man. Among other things provided by God, Psalm 104:15 then mentions "And wine that makes man's heart rejoice, Oil that makes the face shine, And bread that sustains the heart of mortal man." Yet as with many gifts, this one can also be abused. Upon such drinking, while people may thus say things they wouldn’t ordinarily say, their conduct can also be affected. If then attempting to drive, for instance, they may take risks they wouldn’t ordinarily take, and make poorer judgments. But that is not all—the more alcohol that is consumed, physical coordination and motor skills also decline. People become less able to handle the myriad decisions that are required to safely operate a motor vehicle. Their reaction time is dramatically affected, causing them to take longer, even much longer, to respond to sudden occurrences as happen often when driving a vehicle on public roadways. All the while, many of these persons somehow still believe they are just as capable of driving as they normally are without alcohol in their system. What a false sense of security!
BLOOD-ALCOHOL LEVELS. While much research could be done into various sources of alcohol, and whether some drinks have more of an affect than others, the bottom line usually is found in the amount of alcohol that enters the bloodstream, which can be measured as a BAC level, standing for Blood-Alcohol-Concentration. For U.S. states, typically 0.08% BAC will result in a DUI, or Driving Under the Influence charge if suspected of drunk driving or involved in an accident. Federal law set this as a minimum to define drunk driving, and for commercial drivers the level is 0.04% that can result in a conviction. Most states also now have even stiffer penalties for exceeding higher limits, such as 0.15% BAC. Being able to recognize that it was a drunk driver that caused a serious accident is one thing, but now what can be done about this ongoing catastrophe? One person dies in the U.S. on average every 50 minutes from a motor vehicle incident involving a drunk driver. About 10% of these are pedestrians. And on a typical weekend night, alcohol is involved in some 50% of deaths involving motor vehicles! Many of us may be taking this matter a little too lightly--who of us would like to be responsible for such a tragedy??? While the resurrection will restore innocent life and people can be mercifully forgiven, God’s Kingdom will not allow this to continue! How can this be remedied? We might start by making sure we're educated about how blood-alcohol levels are affected by drinking. Those going out for drinks might consider finding a BAC Calculator app for their phone or other device, helping to gain understanding as to how various drinks affect these levels per gender and body weight. For example, if two servings give someone a BAC of 0.04%, which is a level that can cause "impaired driving," each hour this typically drops by 0.015%, so in two hours the level would be approximately 0.01%, much better for most driving. What else can be done?
DESIGNATED DRIVERS. One matter that could quickly be instituted, wherever this is not already practiced, is to require bar and restaurant attendants to request from a group of customers eager to consume alcoholic beverages to identify their “designated drivers.” These individuals may choose to refrain from any alcoholic beverage, or may be allowed a beverage or two, depending on body weight, and length of stay, be it a can of beer, a glass of wine, or a shot of strong drink. These each deliver on average about the same amount of alcohol. Having identified these individuals, a waiter or waitress can keep an eye on them, to support their determination to remain capable of driving safely upon leaving. DD’s should take their responsibility seriously, knowing that authorities may be contacted if they violate their proper limits. These should be able to choose from a fine selection of non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy on this occasion. Some restaurants might even offer a discount on such beverages to these designated drivers, to encourage safe practices, but at least having these drinks made available demonstrates support for this arrangement.Where taxis are widely available, an outing may be planned both coming and going, so an entire group might share more freely in their alcohol consumption.
LICENSE INFORMATION. Another matter that can be addressed is that of information available on Driver’s Licenses. Are not drinkers carded to ensure proper age? While licenses typically have information used to positively identify someone, such as a face, eye color and height, one thing is often missing that can help someone to know how much alcohol can be consumed—a person’s weight! While there are a few factors involved, still we find typically that a larger, heavier person can handle a bit more alcohol than a smaller, lighter person. Also, it has come to my attention that there are some individuals on planet Earth that are able to handle alcohol much better than the average human--their BAC is not affected the same as others. Therefore, besides a weight indication on a person's license, there might also be shown an AAF--Alcohol Assimilation Factor--perhaps from between 1 and 3. A level of 3 would indicate the person can handle at least three times the amount of alcohol as the normal person. There can be some provision put in place for a person to have their BAC tested, perhaps at the local DMV, to indicate the proper factor on their license. In general, a person's weight can be a good guide. While weight can change over time, most people tend to remain within a certain range. An easy standard could be set at 10%. If your weight changes and is expected to remain at least 10% higher or lower than what would currently be on your license, then a new license could be obtained, reflecting the change. A person’s weight can easily be determined, in case the new license hasn’t been received yet, or if there is reason to believe it is substantially different than what is stated on the license. Generally, then, three or four different standards could be set, one for those weighing approximately 150 lbs, then 200 lbs, and 250 lbs. Then anyone 300 lbs or more could hold to a standard set for 300. Restaurants can look at the typical alcohol content of each of it’s beverages, and establish reasonable drinking limits based on body weight. They could then help their patrons avoid going beyond these reasonable limits, as the alcohol begins to impair the judgment of those consuming it. Also, if a group plans to spend considerable time on this occasion, could they be offered a pitcher of an inexpensive supplemental non-alcoholic beverage at a fair price, to potentially reduce the risk of heavy drinking?
LABELLING. And why couldn’t pre-packaged alcoholic beverages be labelled with recommended limits based on these weight guidelines? A beverage might say that anyone planning to drive limit themselves to a single beverage serving or two, depending on body weight, while recommending numbers such as 3-4-5 serving limits for instance, each for a 150lb, 200lb, and 250lb consumer. These could show amounts recommended over a certain period of time, long enough for the alcohol typically to be processed by the body and leave the system. If this was required by law on all alcoholic beverage products, according to clear guidelines, then no company would gain an unfair or unscrupulous economic advantage by ignoring such a life-promoting practice. Thus, with a little help, people can come to realize what it means in actual practice to drink responsibly.
MOTIVATION. How gratifying to everyone if statistics for drunk driving accidents could be compiled and made available to the public more quickly than 6 months after a year’s data is received! Let’s make ways to share and compile this data more quickly, perhaps state by state, so we can begin to monitor the success of these endeavors and make needed adjustments wherever necessary. To further protect innocent lives, we might also arrange for the government to subsidize the cost of a taxi ride for anyone who winds up in a situation in which they haven't the funds but refuse to drive home after having too much alcohol to drink, as well as the ride the next day if needed to obtain their vehicle. Restaurants and bars should gladly allow such a vehicle to remain in their lot overnight in such situations. Even if a parking ticket must be paid along a city street, this should in no way be considered equitable to the risk of innocent life.
CONCLUSION
WHAT DELIGHT! As we see the number of accidents and deaths drop dramatically, how delighted we will be to the praise of our loving Father, Jehovah! He hates to see the innocent suffer—why He even takes no delight in someone wicked having to die! As Ezekiel 18:23 says: “23 “‘Do I take any delight at all in the death of someone wicked,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, ‘[and] not in that he should turn back from his ways and actually keep living?’” May we be determined never to become guilty of risking the precious lives of others by getting behind the wheel of a vehicle after going beyond proper limits of an alcoholic beverage. And may we rejoice to see the day when God's word is fulfilled in saying, such as at Isaiah 25:8-9: " He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it. 9 In that day they will say:“Look! This is our God! We have hoped in him, And he will save us. This is Jehovah! We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.”

(26:03.02 (Sha) or y26.302 or d.302 or :3.02, o4/9/26 6:53,56 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! A new blogpost, 3A! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 4 verses 1-8, PR-A(04.1). On post 3B, added (4A) Psalm 119 Preview of Stanzas 15-19, and on post 3C, added (7) Proverbs B, chapter 17 verses 15-20, PR-B(17.5). On the 8-Day this is March or Shuay the 2nd, which is the actual beginning of Spring, again by the 8-Day Calendar! So the winter does end a little sooner than perhaps in times past as God has willed it, despite a trick that was causing it to appear to be sooner than it should have been. We are now currently about 1 1/4 months difference between the 7-Day and 8-Day Calendars, but it may be best to continue with the 7-Day this year in the U.S., until we can build enough consensus to switch with much of the world to the current or true 400-day calendar; we would be off about 2 months by year's end. LAST MONTH 2026 02/12 SPECIAL ADDITIONS AND NOTES NOTE : God's name in some places uses the ( ) for the last letter z. I had found out that a long time ago God actually gave permission to use His name without the plural 'z' ending. Still, He is 'the First and the Last', 'the Alpha and the Omega', 'the A and the Z'. In the case of 'Jehovah(z)', it evidently is still the case, although there is something else to add to this, in the article on the Names of God and His Son; look for this coming up.

LAST MONTH 2026 01/12 SPECIAL ADDITIONS AND NOTES (7) Proverbs B, chapter 16 verses 29-33 (conclusion of chapter 16), PR-B(16.7) . Planning tomorrow new posts to include Proverbs A as well or at least Stanza 11 of Psalm 119. A side note: You may notice that the 8-day calendar is the end of the month, Lunarday, abbreviated Lnr. To be clear, Lunarday would normally be a New Moon, not a Full Moon. At one time, GOD had the moon phases lining up with the 8-day calendar, so that the 33/34 day month was the moon's cycle, and the moon phases were always on the weekends--new moon, quarter/first-half moon, full moon, etc. At some point He dropped that when we weren't yet acknowledging the new calendar. But this is something He can or will do when we do begin to recognize it more officially, as other countries have around the world. We are still in the midst of Winter in the U.S., even though Baseball Spring training camp began some time ago, and some were beginning to wonder if it was going to become a Winter sport. Proverbs B posted. Update to Notes above. Update to Proverbs 16, verse 33. Further. NOTE : God's name in some places uses the ( ) for the last letter z.
