2020 Nov 16-22 WGA, CS-BHY!, Psalm 119 Review 6, Proverbs 10, Words of Jesus, CTC Corner

Hello, warmly welcoming you to some review of the Psalm 119 series! Let's give it consideration, for some upbuilding thoughts this week! While giving serious attention to vital matters this week, including a Coronavirus Pandemic Relief Plan , I would still like to include the review of the final three stanzas (Review 6), then next week the first half of Psalm 119 (Stanzas 1-11, Review 7), and following that the last half (Most Recent, Review 8). This week we should also include something from Proverbs 10, such a great introduction to God's wise proverbial sayings of truth!

PSALM 119 REVIEW 6 STANZAS 20-22

STANZA 20 , Verses 153-160 THEME:
GOD CAN RESCUE RIGHTEOUS, DISTANT FROM TREACHEROUS WICKED, BUT GREAT IN MERCY.

This group of 8 verses contrasts the righteous from the wicked, those not deviating from God's reminders from those who do not keep God's saying. Yet, God's mercy is great. May we come to love God's orders.

Stanza 20:
153 Look on my affliction and rescue me, For I have not forgotten your law.
154 Defend me and rescue me; Preserve me alive in harmony with your promise.
155 Salvation is far away from the wicked, For they have not searched for your [instructions].
156 Your mercy is great, O Jehovah. Preserve me alive in harmony with your justice.

157 My persecutors and my adversaries are many; But I have not deviated from your reminders.
158 I look on the treacherous with loathing, Because they do not keep your saying.
159 See how I love your orders! O Jehovah, preserve me alive because of your loyal love.
160 The very essence of your word is truth, And all your righteous judgments endure forever.

154 Defend me and rescue me; Preserve me alive in harmony with your promise.

JESUS SAVED FROM REPROACH. Besides seeking to be rescued from wrongdoers, the psalmist also requests that Jehovah defend, or protect him from harm—either physical or spiritual harm or abuse. As mentioned in the preview comment, some wrongdoers are “not afraid to speak abusively of glorious ones.” They may slander without hesitation, either not caring or somewhat aware of the hurtful effects of such speech. Of course, many of those fearing God may see through such lies, distorted truths, or unseemly truths shared to bring one into disrepute. The psalmist’s plea to be “preserved alive” includes, then, not mere physical life, but being alive spiritually, saved with a good reputation, at least among many God-fearing ones. Those who have been so harmed should take heart! Why did God allow Jesus to suffer as a terrible criminal? God kindly restored his name and gave him “the name that is above every other name.” Thus, in the end, God can save or restore the reputation of those putting faith, or complete trust, in Him!

155 Salvation is far away from the wicked, For they have not searched for your [instructions].

GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR SALVATION. Thus, to receive salvation from God, we need to be receiving God’s instructions and earnestly seeking to live by them. We should want to know how we should live in harmony with God’s will, searching for His instructions in pure living before Him. His word provides the guidance we need, and we should aim to be thoroughly familiar with it, over time. The wicked, or practicers of evil, are not interested in such a search, wanting to please only themselves—thus salvation remains “far away” from them, unless they whole-heartedly repent, desiring to turn around from their evil conduct, and find true happiness supporting God’s right and loving ways. Until they do, God is not close to such arrogantly evil ones, as expressed in Psalm 138:6, “ 6 Though Jehovah is high, he takes note of the humble, But the haughty he knows only from a distance.”

156 Your mercy is great, O Jehovah. Preserve me alive in harmony with your justice.

JEHOVAH'S PATIENCE AND MERCY GREAT. Yes, God’s mercy is great, as Isaiah 55:6-7 makes appeal to all practicers of evil: “6 Search for Jehovah while he may be found. Call to him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked man leave his way And the evil man his thoughts; Let him return to Jehovah, who will have mercy on him, To our God, for he will forgive in a large way.” And Psalm 86:5 says of God: “ 5 For you, O Jehovah, are good and ready to forgive; You abound in loyal love for all those who call on you.” May God’s word the Bible not be considered too much or hard to understand for those desiring to do right before Him. Starting with the Ten Commandments of Exodus 20, and the first 10 chapters of Proverbs, written like a letter from a loving father to his son, with encouraging counsel, may all who will, come to appreciate God’s word as a precious gift from God for seeking to do right before Him, to please Him and learn true love for mankind in harmony with God’s justice and loving purpose of a Paradise home planet Earth and a truly peaceful Universe within which to dwell.

158 I look on the treacherous with loathing, Because they do not keep your saying.

AVOID TREACHERY, REMAIN LOYAL. Such “treacherous” ones are disloyal, to God and other humans. In Malachi’s day, Jehovah roundly judged even the people of Judah, for dealing treacherously with Him, and the men for doing the same “with the wife of your youth.” At Malachi 2:13-14 Jehovah explains: “13 “And there is another thing that you do, which results in covering the altar of Jehovah with tears and with weeping and sighing, so that he no longer pays attention to your gift offering or looks favorably on anything from your hand. 14 And you say, ‘For what reason?’ It is because Jehovah has acted as a witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously, although she is your partner and your wife by covenant.” This situation was largely caused by their leaving Jehovah to serve other gods, engaging in the sin of idolatry, which causes spiritual blindness (Psalm 115). Therefore, they needed to humbly return to serve the true God, Jehovah, regaining their spiritual sight, return to “keep [God’s] saying” and with God’s spirit, have loyal love restored to their hearts and marriages. May we likewise avoid treacherous dealings, remaining loyal to Jehovah. Psalm 18:25 says of God: “25 With someone loyal you act in loyalty; With the blameless man you deal blamelessly.”

STANZA 21 , Verses 161-168 THEME:
NOTHING CAN STUMBLE THOSE LOVING GOD'S LAW, KEEPING HIS ORDERS AND REMINDERS--THEY OWN ABUNDANT PEACE.

This group of 8 verses build appreciation for God's law, with reasons to keep it, and some blessings for doing so.

Stanza 21:
161 Princes persecute me for no cause, But my heart stands in awe of your words.
162 I rejoice over your saying Like someone who finds great spoil.
163 I hate falsehood—I detest it—I love your law.
164 Seven times a day I praise you Because of your righteous judgments.

165 Abundant peace belongs to those who love your law; Nothing can make them stumble.
166 I hope for your acts of salvation, O Jehovah, And I observe your commandments.
167 I keep your reminders, And I love them dearly.
168 I observe your orders and your reminders, For you are aware of all that I do.

163 I hate falsehood—I detest it—I love your law.

HATE WHAT IS BAD. Clearly, the focus of this verse is not the person who may have spoken falsely, but on the falsehood itself—the act of lying or “stretching the truth,” as the saying goes. How much better to seek to maintain God’s view of people, aiming to hate the wrong itself, and still have love for imperfect humanity, many of whom wish to do right, and have a struggle against bad influences and imperfect tendencies. Psalm 97:10 says: “10 O you who love Jehovah, hate what is bad. He is guarding the lives of his loyal ones; He rescues them from the hand of the wicked.” As we cultivate a high regard for God, “fearing” Him, we come to hate what He hates, seeking to please Him fully. Proverbs 8:13 says: “13 The fear of Jehovah means the hating of bad. I hate self-exaltation and pride and the evil way and perverse speech.” May we learn what is bad in God’s eyes, that we may come to hate it as He does, gaining understanding of the big picture and it’s pieces, to see why God warns us against some badness, confident that He knows what is truly best for us, and warns us to protect us and others from some physical or spiritual harm. Also, we need discernment, to see the difference between true and false, good and bad, right and wrong, and so on. We may humbly appeal to Jehovah for the ability to grasp these qualities, that our godly wisdom may grow, along with our relationship with God.

164 Seven times a day I praise you Because of your righteous judgments.

JEHOVAH NEVER UNJUST. Truly, Jehovah is worthy of our praise. His judgments, or evaluations and decisions are in harmony with truth and what is right, fair, and just. Deep down, do we not desire the Judge of all the earth to be so worthy of His authority, by upholding such virtues? Abraham expected this of Jehovah, as expressed at Genesis 18:25, “Will the Judge of all the earth not do what is right?” Indeed, as young Elihu well knew and expressed, at Job 34:10-12: “10 So listen to me, you men of understanding: It is unthinkable for the true God to act wickedly, For the Almighty to do wrong! 11 For he will reward a man according to what he does And bring upon him the consequences of his ways. 12 For a certainty, God does not act wickedly; The Almighty does not pervert justice.” Still, He is not responsible for the evil actions of humans who ignore God’s own counsel and advice. It is as stated at Deuteronomy 32:4-5: “ 4 The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness who is never unjust; Righteous and upright is he. 5 They are the ones who have acted corruptly. They are not his children, the defect is their own. They are a crooked and twisted generation!” May we seek to be genuine children of God, doing as a loving Father would have us do, promoting truth, peace, and true love among the human family, advancing God’s will and purpose for a happy future for all those willing to love Him and one another eternally!

165 Abundant peace belongs to those who love your law; Nothing can make them stumble.

THOSE OWNING ABUNDANT PEACE. Such lovers of God’s word and law find great delight in knowing and serving Jehovah, doing His will. His word and law instruct us in dealing with things that threaten true peace and happiness. Thus, the more we come to know and keep God’s law, the more we’re able to maintain the peace that only God and Christ can give. Much of this peace comes from God’s mighty holy spirit, which we can ask God for, seeking His help to cope with trials. Philippians 4:6-7 says: “6 Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” Another translation calls God’s peace that which “can never be completely understood.” (NIRV). Thus we must look to God and His Son for true peace. When about to leave his disciples, Jesus, after referring to the holy spirit, says “27 I leave you peace; I give you my peace. I do not give it to you the way that the world gives it. Do not let your hearts be troubled nor let them shrink out of fear.“ (John 14). Now Christ’s commands and instructions primarily make up God’s law that we delight to keep as true Christians. When wronged by others, we do not let it stop us from loving and obeying God. Rather, we “Turn away from what is bad and do what is good; [We] Seek peace and pursue it.“ (Psalm 34:14). May we appreciate the peace-loving counsel of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, for instance, found at Matthew 5-7, and other guidance God has provided to deal with practically any issue that may arise that threatens godly peace, looking forward to the time when all peaceable ones will be united to happily serve God forever! (Matth 5:9).

166 I hope for your acts of salvation, O Jehovah, And I observe your commandments.

FAITH IN RANSOM LEADING TO LIFE. Thus salvation by God is tied to obedience. We must not fall to the lie that the ransom of Christ no longer requires that we obey God, as though all sin is automatically forgiven. Paul said at Romans 3:31: “31 Do we, then, abolish law by means of our faith? Never may that happen! On the contrary, we establish law.” And at Romans 6:15-16 we read: “15 What follows? Are we to commit a sin because we are not under law but under undeserved kindness? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness?” Thus, learning to observe God’s commandments leads us to God’s righteousness, keeping His way, gaining genuine integrity to God. As we learn to obey, and to do so with endurance through trials, we gain an even firmer hope of salvation, although still by God’s undeserved kindness, as no one can “earn” salvation. As we faithfully aim for obedience to God, the ransom of Christ may cover our misses, allowing ones to be “declared righteous due to faith.” Romans 3:24 says “24 and it is as a free gift that they are being declared righteous by his undeserved kindness through the release by the ransom paid by Christ Jesus.”

168 I observe your orders and your reminders, For you are aware of all that I do.

THOSE PLEASING GOD NOT ABANDONED. The psalmist underscores the importance of both God’s orders, or His most serious and urgent commands, as well as His reminders, which assist us in recalling God’s law so as to keep it wholeheartedly and completely. With God’s awareness of what we do, we are moved to please Him in all things, with high regard for Him, desiring never to hurt or fail Him, in godly fear. Jesus said, at John 8:29: “29 And the One who sent me is with me; he did not abandon me to myself, because I always do the things pleasing to him.” And Psalm 18:25 says: “25 With someone loyal you act in loyalty; With the blameless man you deal blamelessly.” May we treasure God’s loyal love expressed to us, as we remain loyal to Him, learning and keeping His orders and reminders, truly loving His law!

STANZA 22 , Verses 169-176 THEME:
JEHOVAH WORTHY OF PRAISE, GOD OF SALVATION FOR THOSE WILLING TO BE TAUGHT HIS LAW.

This group of 8 verses concludes the entire psalm in a stirring way, acknowledging God's desire to help and favor those fondly keeping His law. Some 10 requests are made of God, revealing reliance upon Him and appreciation for the personal attention He gives the psalmist, and all such loyal ones.

Stanza 22:
169 May my cry for help reach you, O Jehovah. According to your word, make me understand.
170 May my request for favor come before you. Save me, as you have promised.
171 May my lips overflow with praise, For you teach me your [instructions].
172 May my tongue sing about your saying, For all your commandments are righteous.

173 May your hand be ready to help me, Because I choose to obey your orders.
174 I long for your salvation, O Jehovah, And I am fond of your law.
175 Let me live so that I may praise you; May your judgments be my help.
176 I have strayed like a lost sheep. Search for your servant, For I have not forgotten your commandments.

170 May my request for favor come before you. Save me, as you have promised.

SEEK GOD'S FAVOR OFTEN IN PRAYER. Once again the psalmist references the privilege of prayer, communication with the Greater Personage in the Universe! He wants to be favored by God, as he seeks to keep God’s law and hold to His divine standards in life. He seeks to be saved, from his persecutors and adversaries, just as God had evidently promised him personally. God’s word itself makes similar promises to those determined to obey Him faithfully. For instance, regarding the endurance of trials we may undergo, 1Corinthians 10:13 says: “13 No temptation has come upon you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it.” Also, regarding God’s promises of eventual salvation, Psalm 37:9,11,29 say regarding such faithful ones: “9...those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth...11...the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace...29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.” Jehovah God is rightly determined to bring about a wonderful promised Paradise on this earth, in which mankind may dwell, all willing to learn God’s loving and peaceful ways, to love Him and others loyally, in harmony with God’s divine wisdom and standards.

171 May my lips overflow with praise, For you teach me your [instructions].

SEEK GOD'S HONOR FROM AN APPRECIATIVE HEART. Yes, Jehovah is worthy to receive our praise, or expressions of high regard and appreciation for Him, His divine standards, and His acts and provisions for our lasting welfare. The psalmist specifically mentions God’s teaching him His instructions, to live in harmony with divine wisdom. What a blessing to truly have an instruction manual for life, in God’s inspired Word, the Holy Bible. The divine record puts it this way, at 2Timothy 3:16-17, NIRV: “God has breathed life into all of Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. By using Scripture, a man of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing.” Still, we must not take God’s word for granted. It is a gift from a loving God and Father, who wants to be close to each one of us personally. It is among the gifts referred to at James 1:17, where we read: “17 Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, coming down from the Father of the celestial lights, who does not vary or change like the shifting shadows.” James continues, at 4:7-8a, “7 Therefore, subject yourselves to God; but oppose the Devil, and he will flee from you. Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you.” It is God’s honor we should seek, far above our own. At John 7:18, Jesus says: “18 Whoever speaks of his own originality is seeking his own glory; but whoever seeks the glory of the one who sent him, this one is true and there is no unrighteousness in him.” May we come to be among those seeking God’s honor in all we do, focusing on God, apart from any self-centeredness. (1Cori 10:31).

172 May my tongue sing about your saying, For all your commandments are righteous.

JEHOVAH'S HOLY MOUNTAIN. The psalmist continues praising God’s word, or His saying, acknowledging the rightness of God’s commandments. He expresses desire to sing about God’s saying. God’s word itself says it is to endure eternally, as expressed at Isaiah 40:8: “8 The green grass dries up, The blossom withers, But the word of our God endures forever.” How happy we can be that the Creator of this universe and mankind, the “Judge of all the earth,” has given us reasonable laws and commands in harmony with His way of true love, peace, freedom, and happiness. Just as birdsong is a glory to the mighty works of God, so these works of God are deserving of our admiration and praise. Hills have often been associated with places of worship. Isaiah 2:3 foretells a restoration of true worship in these words: “3 And many peoples will go and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, To the house of the God of Jacob. He will instruct us about his ways, And we will walk in his paths.” For law will go out of Zion, And the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem.” Rather than the ancient city, God’s word foretold a “New Jerusalem” composed of Christians anointed to rule with Christ in God’s Kingdom, situated upon a figurative “Mount Zion,” representing a holy “mountain” of Jehovah and the governance of true worship of modern times (Revel 21:1-4; 1Peter 2:6; Revel 14:1). May we ever appreciate the revealed will of Jehovah for true Christians, as He reminds us His righteous orders, commands, and instructions for all having faith, or deep trust, in Him and His Son, leading to a happy, eternal life for those forgiven, humbly seeking divine obedience—the way of eternity.

173 May your hand be ready to help me, Because I choose to obey your orders.

"OBEY GOD AS RULER" Titus 3:1 exhorts Christians to be “ready for every good work.” Thus, God Himself is likewise able to help His devoted loyal servants who need His assistance. May we, like the psalmist, choose to obey God’s orders, thus aiming for true loyalty to Jehovah. His orders are vital and/or urgent commands for true Christians to keep. We should consider them essential, even when threatened to abandon them. Under such circumstances, should we not respond as the early Christians, when threatened to stop speaking about Jesus: “29 In answer Peter and the other apostles said: “We must obey God as ruler rather than men. 30 The God of our forefathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him on a stake. 31 God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are witnesses of these matters, and so is the holy spirit, which God has given to those obeying him as ruler.” (Acts 5). Jehovah’s hand was “ready to help” them, so can we not count on the same today?

175 Let me live so that I may praise you; May your judgments be my help.

THE VERY PURPOSE OF LIFE. Might the psalmist here have stumbled upon the very purpose of life—to praise the Creator, the true and living God, the God who “is love”—Jehovah? Who is more worthy of such honor, glory, or praise? While it is not wrong to desire a good name, or reputation, for ourselves, should not more honor and praise go to the One ultimately responsible for “every good gift and perfect present?” (James 1:17). By unselfishly seeking the glory of God in all we do, largely by our obeying Him, we place our trust in Him to safeguard our own name. Who better to look after our own reputation, than the “King of Eternity,” Jehovah God? May we not forget His wonderful works, and His righteous judgments. His evaluations and decisions truly may “help” us, as He makes them in harmony with what is true, right, just, and fair. They provide keen insight into God’s standards and ways, that we may know how to live and act accordingly. His judgments against wrongdoers of the past, for instance, stand “for a warning to us upon whom the ends of the systems of things have come.” (1Cori 10:11). May we come to hate what God hates, that we may judge rightly ourselves, acting in harmony with the will, or desire, of God. As we do so, we should realize regarding Jehovah: "16 You open your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing." (Psalm 145:16). May we thus live to share in the accomplishing of God's marvelous will on this planet and awaiting the fulfillment of His purpose throughout His universe, to His glory and to the happiness of all His creation, heavenly and earthly, to His and our everlasting delight! (Revel 4:11).

Proverbs 10:11-16

"11 The mouth of the righteous one is a source of life, But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. 12 Hatred is what stirs up contentions, But love covers over all transgressions. 13 Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning person, But the rod is for the back of one lacking good sense. 14 Those who are wise treasure up knowledge, But the mouth of the fool invites ruin. 15 The wealth of a rich man is his fortified city. The ruin of the poor is their poverty. 16 The activity of the righteous one leads to life; But the produce of the wicked one leads to sin."

Prove 10:11-12 The righteous one typically has true love as one's motive, keeping God's law out of love for Him, and with love for others. Such a person desires to share knowledge of God with others, helping them find and stay on the path of endless life. Psalm 37:30 says "The mouth of the righteous one imparts wisdom, and his tongue speaks about justice." However, hatred is in the heart of the wicked, therefore this one's mouth conceals the violence that is inside. Such a one needs to fear God, realizing His great power and purpose, and let hatred be replaced with love for God, experiencing His mercy, and love for others.

"13 Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning person, But the rod is for the back of one lacking good sense."

Prove 10:13 The discerning one has come to have a grasp on the truth in life, seeing the good, while hating the bad. To gain the proper fear of God, according to Proverbs 2, both discernment and understanding are needed. But discernment should take priority, like putting the horse in front of the carriage, and not behind it! We need to learn to tell the difference between things, to judge between true and false, right and wrong, good and bad, wise and unwise, and important, valuable things from those less so. Only then can understanding be used properly for the loving and true benefit of others. Such a discerning person is able to speak and share much in the way of wisdom. But one lacking good sense needs good discipline to find needed correction.

"14 Those who are wise treasure up knowledge, But the mouth of the fool invites ruin."

Prove 10:14 The wise ones treasure especially the right kind of knowledge. A foolish one may learn and speak only of things that contribute little to a good course in life. Here is where understanding comes into view. As we acquire good discernment, and grow in understanding, which involves seeing God's view of matters--the big picture, and then all it's pieces and how they interrelate to one another, we're better able to absorb important, especially divine knowledge. Another proverb says: "The scoffer (ridiculing fault-finder) seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the person with understanding." (Proverbs 14:6). May we thus be considerate, respectful of others as we seek to understand them with empathy, and to understand more about God, His loving purpose, and life itself to His honor.

"15 The wealth of a rich man is his fortified city. The ruin of the poor is their poverty."

Prove 10:15 A wealthy person often looks to money as his primary source of protection, as a "fortified city." Even a poor person may not be looking to God as a refuge. May both learn to rely upon God more than all else, seeking God's Kingdom and His righteousness first (obedience to God with integrity) as Christ instructed (Matt 6:25-33). Doing so, the necessities of life will be provided by God, while putting forth reasonable efforts to make a living as needed.

"16 The activity of the righteous one leads to life; But the produce of the wicked one leads to sin."

Prove 10:16 As Jesus also stated, a good tree produces fine fruit, righteous ones speaking and doing things leading themselves and others to life, while a rotten tree produces worthless fruit, wicked ones speaking and doing things that lead themselves and others into sinful practices, causing headaches, heartaches, heartbreaks, troubles, turmoil, grief, pain, and sadness, distancing ones from God and others, usually requiring intervention from parents, teachers, or spiritual shepherds to assist ones to get back on the path of eternal life. May we guard our associations from wicked ones promoting sinful practices, that we may "follow the way of good people, and stay on the paths of the righteous, For only the upright will reside in the earth, And the blameless will remain in it. 22 As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, And the treacherous will be torn away from it." (Prov 2:20-22).

$7-12-17 Hardship Step Up Plan for Restaurants, Taxi services, and other creative businesses.

Prepared in the name of God Jehovah, by Joshua M. Campbell-Elanemy.

GENERAL PROVISION. Anyone under genuine hardship may receive a loan from a Hardship fund from participating restaurants, bars, taxi services (including those having agreements with these businesses). They need only request this service, perhaps bringing with them a simple signed note, which includes a promise to return at some point the proper amount at some point after it becomes available to them, including IF they wish, a few words about their circumstance, and then, as long as there are funds available, they may receive either of the three options, according to their own determination as to their need. If it is only the $7 option required, for instance, they would promise to return it with an additional $5 (equaling the next level up), in this case they would return a total of $12. They needn’t state when it is to be returned, but should keep a record of this obligation/loan and plan ahead to pay it as previously recommended. The restaurant should also provide a postal address (or business card) that would enable the recipient to mail a check, for instance, if they were visiting from another vicinity.

Whereas the individual is permitted to choose either of the three amounts to borrow, it should be allowed that if it is the smallest amount--the $7 amount, that is chosen, to be used for a small meal, for instance, or, in the case of a larger person, if only the $12 amount at this locale has proven to sufficiently nourish or satisfy the individual, only in such circumstances, having received either the $7 or $12, might such one in good conscience be permitted to receive an additional $5 to carry with them outside the establishment, either as one $5 bill, or as five $1 bills. If so, of course, it would be the total of $12 or a $17 that should be returned with the additional $5 step up--while this additional amount is expected, it might be viewed by the individual as an expression of appreciation for the prior loan, as though gratuity. It should be duly noted, however, that while most anyone may take advantage of this kind provision, one attempting in some way to rob from this provision is risking serious financial penalty and criminal charges. Instead, let this one write a note stating their dire situation, then: With extreme clarity write their first name, as well as either their cell phone number or email address. If they don’t have a cell phone, allow the phone carriers Sprint or Consumer Cellular assist! Sprint has tacitly agreed to supply a single phone and at least one month’s service for the $17 Hardship allowance, or, in the case of C.C., a Grandpad (which at the construction of this policy, is being made available for the initial cost of $25, with a monthly charge going forward) for the same amount of $17. Using money made available at the opening of the Hardship Fund, at least three Sprint phones and one Grandpad should be purchased, and kept secure, being made available upon request with proof of the note precisely as instructed. This would require $68 of the initial fund allowance. If desired, the appropriate amount may be forwarded to either company from the business account, after the arrangement is made by telephone, allowing for the quickest response available at the time.

Following this, the money received during the ensuing month toward such devices should be used solely for the purchase of additional phones and Grandpads at the exact same ratio of 3:1 (Sprint phones to CC Grandpads), on or near the same day of the month as the opening date the Hardship Step Up Fund becomes available to the general public—seeking Jehovah’s blessing on this arrangement. Please ensure the individual is given something clearly showing the phone number associated with this phone. If within the first month, they have received any needed assistance, and wish to return this phone, they may attempt to do so, if it is in a clean condition, but it will be accepted only at the sole discretion of the business owner.

LET GOD’S WILL “BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN” (NIV)

What is GOD’s purpose for the Earth? Who does it really belong to, and did HE give much care and attention to it while intending to destroy it soon afterward?

BIBLE DIVINELY INSPIRED. We’ve seen over a few weeks time abundant evidence of the divine authorship of the Holy Bible. Just as evidence abounds over the miraculous act of salvation of all Israel through the Red Sea, with Israel having been in slavery in Egypt, and yet by GOD’s mighty hand being led to the land promised to them and to their forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel). They became the caretakers of GOD’s written word, beginning with Moses, and ending with Jesus’ aged apostle John. Separating the books of psalms, there were thus total 70 books, recorded by some 40 men, over 1,600 years time. Such numbers have significance to GOD, and no human could have choreographed such a design. According to GOD’s own word, HE has not given away the earth to humans, rather possibly “lent" it to us, but rather, as Exodus 19:5 clearly states by GOD, KJV: “for all the earth is mine.” (Compare Psalm 50:7,10-11). Thus, we may peer into GOD’s inspired word to determine HIS loving will and purpose for this lovely planet and the precious people upon it. Let’s use the King James Version for the critical points of our consideration.

A FEW VERSES: Let’s take a few clear statements made in GOD’s word, that enlighten us as to HIS intentions regarding this planet. What of the very opening words of the Bible: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Thus the indication is that the earth was no temporary fly-by-night thrown-together creation of GOD. It has been here from “the beginning!” While GOD’s word speaks of the earth’s “pedestals” and it’s “cornerstone,” this is GOD using figurative speech to describe the work HE did in creating it. Job 26:7, in fact, declares: “He stretches out the northern sky over empty space, suspending the earth upon nothing.” GOD asked Job: “Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell me, if you think you understand. Who set its measurements, in case you know, Or who stretched a measuring line across it? Into what were its pedestals sunk, Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause?” (Job 38:4-7). Thus, did GOD create the earth to be destroyed or to be inhabited? Isaiah 45:18, KJV, says this: “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.” But for how long? Ecclesiastes 1:4 says this, KJV: “One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.”

FIGURATIVE DESTRUCTION. But if that verse is true that the earth is to last “for ever,” then does that mean people must continue to be born and die in a cycle of life and death endlessly? This is life as we know it under the current governmental framework. But is that GOD’s loving will and purpose for humans? There is a happy end to the cycle! But first, what of mention of the “heavens” passing away and it’s elements “melt” and “the earth...burned up” and “all these things...dissolved?” (2Peter 3:10-11). For all of GOD’s word to be true, this must carry a different meaning, a figurative one. We need only look two verses later for hope: “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” Is it reasonable that GOD will destroy this entire universe and planet Earth, creating a new physical universe, to make this one scripture come true literally? Or, what of GOD’s use of the term “heavens” in the Bible to refer to government, and the term “earth” to earthly society or it’s seemingly stable political framework? (Isaiah 1:2; Revelation 12:15-17)

A FEW MORE: Revelation 21:1-5, KJV mentions this “new heaven and a new earth” and says “and there was no more sea.” Is this literal—will the oceans be removed from planet Earth, or does Isaiah 57:20-21 show the figurative meaning of the sea, that there will eventually be no more wickedness among earth’s inhabitants? This verse reads: “But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” Thus, GOD will step in to arrange HIS own rulership, welcoming mankind into a new society, a peaceful, righteous one, where true happiness may prevail! A few more scriptures reveal such intentions by GOD: Proverbs 2:20-22, KJV says: “That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.” Psalm 37:29, KJV says: “The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.” And Psalm 104:1-2,5, KJV: “Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. 2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:...5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.” Also, the verses above in Revelation 21 include this promise in verse 4, in reference to His dwelling with "men" (verse 3), KJV: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

RESURRECTION! No consideration of GOD’s lovely purpose for planet Earth would be complete without including His intention to restore those “sleeping in death” back to life. Of course, Greek philosophy has taught many that humans have a “soul” that never dies, and this seems to bring us comfort, thinking our deceased loved ones are merely alive in a better world. But what comfort is that to a parent who has lost a precious child to a drunken driver, or in some similar disaster? Did “fate” cause such a thing at GOD’s instigation? Or rather, did that driver with free will fail to prudently see the danger, and to “love thy neighbor as thyself,” which would move him or her to avoid alcohol abuse or find another way to travel? (Proverbs 22:3; Matthew 22:39, KJV). NO—GOD did not need another angel in heaven by robbing parents of their precious child! (Job 34:10,12). Rather, GOD’s word reveals most of our deceased loved ones are alive in GOD’s memory, but “sleeping in death.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5,10; John 11:11-14) 1Thessalonians 4:13-14, KJV, says: “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” More plainly, verse 13 says this in NIV: “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.” Thus, Acts 24:15, KJV reveals: “And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.”

THOSE HEEDING GOD’S WORD SPARED. GOD has proven time and again to be a Savior of HIS faithful people. Throughout Israel’s perilous history, GOD fought to protect them on numerous occasions from their enemies. Of course, this same GOD allowed the faithless people of Israel to suffer at the hands of the Romans in the years leading up to 70 C.E. But those heeding Jesus’ own warning, and fleeing at the appropriate time, were spared such troubles. Thus we see FAITH, OR DEEP TRUST, even CONFIDENCE IN GOD AND HIS WORD are vital to our salvation and happiness. (Luke 21:20-22). Rather than believing mere Greek and other human philosophies about God and life, as many people come to trust God and His Word, we are able to grow closer together in unity and peace, understanding and supporting GOD’s true purposes and HIS right ways and laws, as revealed through Jesus. Whereas Jesus was a “son of GOD,” he foretold a “son of man,” born in the line of David, with ruling authority, that would follow in his steps, with GOD’s blessing. (For the Bible’s truth on a few important topics, such as the nature of GOD, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and the difference between the “spirit” and the “soul”, see the article Finding Truth, elsewhere on this website.)

NOT TO BE THWARTED BY WOULD-BE THIEVES

“YOU ARE WORTHY” Sadly, there have been power-hungry thieves who would try to wrest GOD’s rulership away from HIM and HIS Son, just as Pharaoh believed his gods superior. The issue of GOD’s right to rule mankind, and whose rule is right, is addressed throughout GOD’s Word the Bible. Revelation draws this conclusion, at Revelation 4:11: “11 “You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created.”” May we gratefully support GOD’s rulership, as manifest at HIS appointed time, ever appreciative of HIS giving to us “life and breath and all things.” (Acts 17:25). It is GOD alone who can restore by resurrection the lives of our forefathers—parents, grandparents, etc. and HE “longs” to do so, through His Son. (Job 14:14-15; Ecclesiastes 9:5,10; John 5:28-29). HE is moved to do this by HIS greatest governing trait—TRUE LOYAL LOVE! (1John 4:8,16) Thus anyone competing for GOD’s power, after the example of GOD’s powerful enemy Satan, is threatening the lives of billions of people in the grave—all our ancestors, as well as the true peace and happiness eternally that only GOD can bring. How devastatingly cruel and heartless! However, some may be tricked into such a course by Satan or others.

EARTH’S PURPOSE. The foretold son of man supports the Ultimate rulership of the true GOD, the loving Creator Jehovah. Yet it is this same GOD who helped establish the government of the United States enabling much freedom of mankind in harmony with GOD’s good purpose. The Bible reveals Jehovah to be a GOD of freedom, who will no doubt continue to uphold freedoms such as granted by the founding fathers of this nation. The clear Bible teaching of an earthly resurrection helps establish GOD’s purpose for earth—not merely as a testing ground for heavenly life, but as a place wherein people may reside to love GOD and one another into eternity, under a good, true, right, fair and just, peace-loving government! (Psalm 37:29). Jesus did secure some early Christians, however, for heavenly life. And, as we’ve seen, there is a purpose to the stars. Still, Jesus taught all to pray: “Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” Articles elsewhere on this website help establish GOD’s clear intentions especially regarding our Earth (see, for one, the article: God’s Kingdom—Our Hope).

LOYAL PATIENCE. As mentioned previously in this segment, Earth may well prove to be our “home” planet, as GOD’s purpose is unmistakably universal! May we be patient, as we fulfill GOD’s pressing purpose for us to clean up this planet and educate others in GOD’s ways for an eternal life of peace and happiness. Then, with GOD’s blessing and approval, we may see what HE has in store for faithful humans. An end to earth’s troubles is to come: Isaiah 25:8 promises: “He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.”

CONCLUSION:

Thus, GOD’S WILL “ON EARTH” should be fairly clear:

TO WIPE AWAY TEARS OF SORROW, BRINGING ABOUT TRUE PEACE AND HAPPINESS, WHILE ELIMINATING SIN, SICKNESS, AND EVEN DEATH ITSELF, CROWNING OBEDIENT MANKIND WITH ETERNAL LIFE.

TRUE LOYAL LOVE! May we therefore continue to receive of GOD’s instructions from HIS word, the Bible, making application of it’s counsel in our day-to-day life, growing in our relationships with GOD and others, increasing both our peace and happiness. May family heads look after the welfare of their families, not just physically or materially, but spiritually as well—seeing to the everlasting welfare of those they love. And may as many as possible find GOD’s favor and blessing on into HIS righteous new world, based on HIS greatest governing trait—TRUE LOYAL LOVE!

(26:03.02 (Sha) or y26.302 or d.302 or :3.02, o4/9/26 6:53,56 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! A new blogpost, 3A! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 4 verses 1-8, PR-A(04.1). On post 3B, added (4A) Psalm 119 Preview of Stanzas 15-19, and on post 3C, added (7) Proverbs B, chapter 17 verses 15-20, PR-B(17.5). On the 8-Day this is March or Shuay the 2nd, which is the actual beginning of Spring, again by the 8-Day Calendar! So the winter does end a little sooner than perhaps in times past as God has willed it, despite a trick that was causing it to appear to be sooner than it should have been. We are now currently about 1 1/4 months difference between the 7-Day and 8-Day Calendars, but it may be best to continue with the 7-Day this year in the U.S., until we can build enough consensus to switch with much of the world to the current or true 400-day calendar; we would be off about 2 months by year's end. LAST MONTH 2026 02/12 SPECIAL ADDITIONS AND NOTES NOTE : God's name in some places uses the ( ) for the last letter z. I had found out that a long time ago God actually gave permission to use His name without the plural 'z' ending. Still, He is 'the First and the Last', 'the Alpha and the Omega', 'the A and the Z'. In the case of 'Jehovah(z)', it evidently is still the case, although there is something else to add to this, in the article on the Names of God and His Son; look for this coming up.

Have ready for posting (7) Proverbs B, chapter 17, verses 4-7, and (4A) Psalm 119 Preview Stanzas 12-14. Then, another segment of Proverbs A, chapter 3. Posted (7) Proverbs B...also (4A) Psalm 119 Preview, and now (3) Proverbs A, chapter 3 verses 13-18, PR-A(03.3). (26:02.13 Thd or y26.213 or d.213 or :2.13, o3/18/26 Wed 6:25; 7:08 am; 4:15 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 3 verses 9-12, PR-A(03.2). Updates. LAST MONTH 2026 01/12 SPECIAL ADDITIONS AND NOTES (7) Proverbs B, chapter 16 verses 29-33 (conclusion of chapter 16), PR-B(16.7) . Planning tomorrow new posts to include Proverbs A as well or at least Stanza 11 of Psalm 119. A side note: You may notice that the 8-day calendar is the end of the month, Lunarday, abbreviated Lnr. To be clear, Lunarday would normally be a New Moon, not a Full Moon. At one time, GOD had the moon phases lining up with the 8-day calendar, so that the 33/34 day month was the moon's cycle, and the moon phases were always on the weekends--new moon, quarter/first-half moon, full moon, etc. At some point He dropped that when we weren't yet acknowledging the new calendar. But this is something He can or will do when we do begin to recognize it more officially, as other countries have around the world. We are still in the midst of Winter in the U.S., even though Baseball Spring training camp began some time ago, and some were beginning to wonder if it was going to become a Winter sport. Proverbs B posted. Update to Notes above. Update to Proverbs 16, verse 33. Further. NOTE : God's name in some places uses the ( ) for the last letter z.

Thus 2026 2C/12 will start the title. Updated the List of Foundational Articles under (PA) Persistent Articles, returned to 6th place the article Realities of God's Government and Beneficial Standards--some may recall that this was really my 5th article, but in the podcast Win-it Minute Season 2 (WM2 R04.199.200 Introduction Season 2, on Spotify) I did insert the Policy article on More Enjoyable Work as an example policy, so that is the order I chose to post them on this blogpost. With Realities now article 6 (originally 5), that made the Kingdom and the U.S. article number 7 (which was considerably more recent) and now I've added the one even more recent as number 8, Seeking God's Peaceable Kingdom--Paradise . We musn't forget where we were not long ago, and not let go of where we need to be, going! I also left up (7) Proverbs B, chapter 16 verses 29-33, PR-B(16.7) , with updates.

Also, Adding to Calendar Table below, and later the (4A) Psalm 119 Review Stanzas 5-8. Mistake was on Calendar table, you may have noticed in didn't yet add much more to what was done on Sunday, it was that the extra day Himzday was shown on month 2 rather than 3, because normally that day does fall around the end of March/beginning of April, but this year, because the calendars are already 31 days off, that day ends up being in early May instead, end of month 3 new calendar. It will all be corrected soon on this Calendar Table, and I apologize for any inconvenience. Let God help with any corrections that may be needed if some advanced, again they would be between that day April 08 and the day it should be, early May. Further explanation may be found below, with the updated explanation on 26:01.08. Added (4A) Psalm 119 Review of Stanzas 5-8. (26:01.09 Riz or y.109 or :1.9, o2/9/26 Mon 7:54 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 1 verses 20-23, PR-A(01.4) . (26:01.08 Fwn or y.108 or :1.08, o 2/8/26 Sun 6:27,34; 7:53,56; 8:12; 10:13 am; 2:37 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Working on some things, I may adjust the plan not to normally post on Sundays, or at least Righzdays, the start of the 8-day workweek the second week (after a 2-day weekend) which leads to/makes possible the following 4-day or so weekend, still with typically 5-day workweeks with a longer year of some 400-days, which is real and current, not just a possibility or something imagined. The 7-day calendar is now off the real calendar by some 31 days or so, but the weekdays are still close to lining up together, and plans could be made to incorporate or transition, although it's believed that scheduled times are best changed about a month or a month and a half out, rather than so many so soon. With that view, then it turns out that next month, actually March and Peasamake (2nd month 8-Day Cal.) would be the time the calendars once again line up or merge Mar 22 (Sunday and Sonaday) for an entire week or two, being a good time for transition. Events scheduled March 22 through the weekend March 28-29, could be lined up with mid-Peasamake the 17th through the 24th (recall every month on 8-Day is 4 weeks 1-8,9-16,17-24,25-32 plus 1-2 days 33 or 34 long), then the next week both workweeks line up, Righzday through Thunderzday or Thunzday, leading NOT in this case (4X per year) to the 6-day but rather to the normal end-of-month 5-day weekending break, the 4-days plus just Lunarday, the 33rd, after Fanday the 32nd of the month, with Sonaday, following as the 1st of the next month, Shuay, but also a normal day off like Sunday. The special 6-day breaks conclude months 3,5,9 and 11 (Thanksgiving weekend), and this year month 3, because the calendars are already off by some 31 days, is not some days after March but after April, into May. Update. UPDATED THE TABLE AT PAGE BOTTOM FOR NEW CALENDAR TRANSITION , More will be filled in, later today. [Originally the Calendar Table showed month 2, April 8 as a Himzday, one of the 34-day months occurring 4X per year. This was corrected later to month 3, there being over 30 days difference between the 7-day and 8-day calendars that month this year.] (26:01.06 Stz or y.106 or :1.06, o 2/6/26 Fri 7:41,58 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Planning the post of the new year/Month sometime later this morning, at least the START page/post. Also, the potential for a new podcast work this year, called Winit100, is being considered and may be released, just 100 seconds, a stand-alone rather than part of a weekly theme, although it's possible for more than one to be related or tie together in some way. This would usually relate some thing(s) presented on the website to some news item of interest. This is not to detract from larger interests, however. The plan is for 3X per week, usually every other weekday/workday. Stay tuned...Posted New 2026 blogposts 1-3.

Stay tuned... (25:12.33,o1/31/26 Sat 6:27; 7:08,36-37; 9:13 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! This SUM article reminds of Feb 1 as the FIRST DAY (Jemupluca 1) of the 400-Day CALENDAR THIS ACTUAL NEW YEAR, the 8-Day or 16-Day Calendar, now accepted by half the world. Thus 31 days now separate the two calendars, or the still-in-use 7-day calendar is currently 31 days OFF from the actual circuit around the sun, which has already begun to affect seasonal weather pattens by that much, and this difference will continue to expand throughout the year. (y.C02,oC31 Wed 6:55; 7:01,11,13; 9:26 am; 5:05 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Slight update to current (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(9.4). NOTE : While it is okay to celebrate this new year's eve, let's be even more excited about the New Year of the true 400-day calendar, which doesn't start anew for another month, actually Feb 1 of the former calendar still in use here. God has made a good way for us to transition, by considering January a 13th month, the 31 days completing the 33 days of the current 12th month (Loyalnes) on the 400- or 8-Day Calendar. You might review the blogpost 3 Persistent Article More Orderly Time...8 Day Calendar, with the more meaningful month and daynames, and the timing that God makes possible for the moon to again line up with our weeks and months! Regarding tonight, please pray about your attendance. In many places there are freezing temperatures, which should not be dismissed. Please dress warmly if you choose to attend, head to toe, which may include ears, scarf, and toes (warm, thicker socks made for cold weather). Warm boots may suffice. We could continue; A sweater or jacket with a warm lining beneath a warm coat; warm gloves just in case (some coats have warm pockets); something beneath or over pants can be important; hats may be more optional but consider ears, hoods and chances of precip. Also footwear in possibly slick conditions. This may be helpful at times this winter, extended times in near freezing temperatures. We also want people, God's children, out of freezing cold temperatures overnight (normally), efforts are being put forth to help people do this without obligation, please cooperate with local shelters and trusted organizations. NOW : Added (8B) NewsView, NV-B (B 803), regarding Economy and Tariffs . (y.C01,oC30 Tue 6:46,53; 9:00 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 9 verses 13-18, PR-A(9.4) . Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 9, verses 7-9, PR-A(9.2) . Updates. (y.B25,oC21 Sun 8:16; 9:23,27,31 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (2A) Psalm 67, A Plea for God's Blessing On Earth. I believe I had interference from talking up the holiday as Christ's Family Weekend on the website this year, although many still likely heard, for Dec 27th and 28th; there is strong reason for caution, due to God's blessing potentially being removed from Dec 25. Some prophecies were fulfilled in recent years, including one about Job's cursing of the day of his birth, which both was historically Dec 25 and whose life foreshadowed Christ in some ways, prophetically. When God's blessing is on a day, He has often protected people from danger; For years now Jesus above (AzGod) has been saving thousands of lives weekly traveling roadways for instance. It is acknowledged that this went so misunderstood this year, without realizing a completely acceptable alternative in Christ's Family Weekend, but God and Jesus Christ above still have made clear that safe travel cannot be guaranteed for Dec 25. Why not open some gifts on the evening of the 24th, and save the rest for Christ's Family Weekend, on the 27th and 28th, good days for traveling to family, etc. for the same. To the extent that we do such things, we will please both God and Christ, showing faith in their word. Be careful what you do on the 25th, seeking God's approval, and pray about the matter if there are already plans made on that day. (y.B24,oC20 Sat 6:08; 7:16; 8:55 am EST) Hello, wishing all well!
