reveal of 4 chapters of my re-write last year (with permission) of President Ronald Reagan's Autobiography in my typical blogging style, with paragraph headings, etc. quite enjoyable! I'm releasing it a chapter at a time, chapters 2 and 3 already posted! | Hello Everyone! Some may recall this image as the one that I used at the founding of my website some two+ years ago! I wish to offer a sincere apology for any lack of attention to the website over the last few weeks. While I have provided some significant insights and help in certain key areas, I wasn't providing the full instructive material I normally wish to share. Allow me to endeavor to pick up where we left off, while still giving attention to the most serious issues facing our country/nation currently, at least in some manner, until with a voice even more reflective of God's full intention with respect to the intended establishment of God's Kingdom! Hello! I meant to mention sooner the "HGJ" above as I intend to keep us mindful of where we would be if we had initiated the new time counting arrangement with Month Names that would demonstrate an appropriate change to recognizing God's Kingdom, as you may recall from the Policy revealed last year under Come To Consensus Corner. Let's allow this policy to once again show this week, that we might be mindful of such a change that could still occur this year at an appropriate time with respect to Jehovah's desired intervention, looking into the genuine election results that involved, not just Joe Biden and Donald Trump, but another receiving many votes that may have somehow been set aside in the belief that the candidate wasn't legitimate in some way. The recommended name of the first month, to replace January, is Prudency, abbreviated perhaps "Pru." (As an aside, the country of Peru has a three-letter abbreviation of "PER.") As explained below, the months would generally be 28 days each, and each beginning on Monday. It is prudent to gain prudence, as this quality helps us look ahead or foresee the consequences of good and bad decisions, in order to hate the bad, and cultivate love for what is truly right and good, as God encourages us to do in His word the Bible, knowing that this leads to genuine peace, prosperity and happiness among humankind! The second month name is also explained below...The policy is entitled as follows: Adding, (8a)CTCC:

Hi there! Hoping as many as possible may be able to consider the insights we're sharing regarding the Pandemic, that we may halt the unnecessary deaths and have the immune (and spiritual) assistance needed to remain healthy and alive! Also, might some be seeing effects of the initial Stimulus package passed through Congress, based mostly on Policies and patents I developed and shared through this website or in other ways? The day a much more costly plan was expected to be passed, I tweeted (@JElanemy) concerning Joe that we could address the real issues for much less, while making great progress economically and otherwise. If you can read a copy of this Stimulus package, those who've followed my website over the last year would recognize policy after policy, going hand-in-hand with several key patented ideas. God through holy spirit has been preparing me for these 50 years for the role of President, able to apply the divine wisdom of God's word to many of our pressing problems. It would not be fair to credit someone else with my policies and patents, although it is the true God Jehovah through His Son, Jesus making all of this possible through God's Kingdom, now upon us!!! Let's please seek the truth regarding all this, and the reason for so much question regarding the election results (that a third candidate received significant voting, but was believed to be unqualified in some way). May the truth be revealed!

HI!!I've
included Proverbs 11:1-5 below, to pick up with our consideration there. While under the new month arrangement, when work policies are adjusted where possible (perhaps taking some time for this to be implemented by various businesses, a year or more in some cases) many would have begun work today, this Friday would have begun a 4-day weekend for the majority, with preference for (4) 8-10 hour workdays. This would include the Feb/HGJ 14th Sunday holiday, which might be adjusted to always come on a Sunday, as well as the ensuing Monday having off from work/school as well. BECOME HOLY YOURSELVES!
A Touch of White--Problem Solved!
A SMALL WHITE SPOT. I'd like to switch up and place Become Holy Yourselves! (BHY!) first, as I relate what took place this morning, just a short while ago as of this writing. I had just finished loading the washing machine at a home I fully intend to keep inside Winchester, VA, at a good time some 2 hours drive from the interior of Washington D.C., the home of the U.S. Capitol. As I set down my laundry basket (not having a second laundry bag I planned on purchasing, to have one each for whites and colors) I reflected upon the quality workmanship of the small round wooden side table I had set on the porch some months ago, having help up well despite being out of doors. After ascending the stairs in the snow and approaching it, upon closer inspection I noticed a small white spot on the inlaid pattern of darker wood I thought might be oak, and cautiously stuck my thumb down on the matter to perhaps brush it off, only to find it was something I've always hated to touch--white bird doodoo! However, little did I realize the significance of what was about to transpire!
RIGHT UNDER OUR...WHAT? I quickly thought to turn and bend down to the snow atop the porch stairs and clean my thumb, then after picking up a bit of it, brought it to the table and began rubbing the snow over the area, to find the spot completely vanishing. Afterward, I spoke this: "Sometimes, the solution to the problem is right under our beaks." Upon re-entering the living room, I began to reflect upon these words, having had much divine guidance in recent weeks and months during my campaign for the Presidency of the United States. I wondered--what about this bird poop--are there not times in God's creation where what we normally would call "poop" from a creature actually serves some beneficial purpose for humans? What about the silkworm, I wondered, as a dear wife of mine reminded me that indeed it is silk that is formed in just such a way! Is it not clean for use as a linen, or clothing, being washed and pure? Going a step further, I recalled and spoke: "What was the White House painted with?" I seemed to remember it was indeed painted with white...bird poop--yet considered a very clean source of paint material, having never become aware of any problems from it's use!
MORE DIVINE GUIDANCE? I had spoken earlier of the urgent need to continue addressing this Coronavirus Pandemic, realizing we've begun to lose some three thousand and more victims daily here in the U.S., about as many as we lost in the terrible tragedy which occurred on September 11, 2001. This got me thinking, do not such birds drink from our dishes, and eat some of our crumbs, etc.? Could it be that they somehow supply something of value in their so-called poop? Having access to discuss this matter with others "tacitly," with the royal authority given me by God, with high lineage in the royal line of King David of ancient Israel, we discussed this possibility, and sure enough it was determined that it might prove useful for immunity from Coronavirus(!)--However "something was still missing" was the word. I suggested what about SNOW--might it help with any bit of sterilization? And can it not be frozen, to last throughout the year if necessary? The response came back a Veritable YES! With a simple prick of the finger, as is used for Diabetic testing, which tools are available to practically all School Nursing Stations (as the subject had come up while gathering my clothes for washing, upon seeing the letters H.S., as to whether we should FIRST get our HIGH SCHOOL students back to school first, so that any Pandemic potential problem areas for them can be ascertained and identified, they being most able among all students to recognize and voice any individual concerns, etc.) One reputed worst-case scenario with a child laden with Coronavirus apparently was resoundingly cured by the treatment! Of course, more testing and confirmation can and should be done, but what potential this may have--Thanks to our God, Jehovah, and His wonderful provisions to sustain life for the human family!
And, remember, "There's nothing wrong with rhyming DELICIOUS with NUTRITIOUS!"
A BETTER OPTION! It has been known for quite some time that SEA SALT that washes up from the ocean is occasionally affected, or "tainted" with this same white "drip" from birds. In the past this has been considered a nuisance, and no one could understand or comprehend why God would permit such valuable sea salt to be affected in such a way. Now we may know! All it evidently takes is a combination of genuine sea salt, such as CELTIC SEA SALT, with just a tiny bit of this white product from birds, placed under the tongue and absorbed into the bloodstream in this way, to also be treated/immunized, either from a widespread or localized threat!!! May we forge ahead and investigate these options for treating Coronavirus and who knows what else, implementing this as soon as possible even likely for our children and others, and get things back in order!

WEEKLY GOLDEN APPLES
Time for Pandemic Relief and Cure, to be On Track for Endless Life, Yes even on this Planet!
Consider the Context of the famous text at John 3:16 (KJV): "16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
"14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."
I wish to share on my facebook page, UPDATED ADDRESS: https://www.fb.com/joshua.m.ce the 'lifting up of the serpent' in Moses's day that Jesus had reference to, which may strengthen faith leading to "eternal life."

PSALM SELECTIONS:
I wish to include here Psalm 19:7-14 , a most encouraging portion of Scripture, enhancing our awareness of the value of God's word the Holy Bible for worthy examination and reflection. I prepared this material as an introduction to my study of Psalm 119, or 5Psalm13. I'm retaining the entire preliminary instruction here, within which I offer Psalm 19:7-14 as a foundation for the study of the much larger psalm of 22 stanzas and 176 verses.
"7 The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring strength. The reminder of Jehovah is trustworthy, making the inexperienced one wise.
8 The orders from Jehovah are righteous, causing the heart to rejoice; The commandment of Jehovah is clean, making the eyes shine[or, "enlightening the eyes", AMP].
9 The fear of Jehovah is pure, lasting forever. The judgments of Jehovah are true, altogether righteous.
10 They are more desirable than gold, Than much fine gold, And sweeter than honey, the honey that drips from the combs.
11 By them your servant has been warned; In keeping them, there is a large reward.
12 Who can discern mistakes? Pronounce me innocent from sins I am unaware of.
13 And hold your servant back from presumptuous acts; Do not let them dominate me. Then I will be complete, And innocent of blatant sins.
Proverbs 11:1-5
"2 When presumptuousness comes, dishonor will follow, But wisdom is with the modest ones."
"3 The integrity of the upright is what guides them, But the deviousness of the treacherous will destroy them."
"4 Wealth will be of no benefit on the day of fury, But righteousness is what will rescue from death."
"5 The righteousness of the blameless one makes his path straight, But the wicked one will fall because of his own wickedness."

SONG 18
Grateful for the Ransom (Luke 22:20)
1. Today, Jehovah God,
we stand before your throne,
For you showed the greatest love
that could ever be shown.
You gave the gift of your dear Son,
that we might live.
No greater sacrifice than this
could you ever give.
(CHORUS)
He gave his life to set us free.
His precious blood provides the key.
With all our hearts,
we’ll go on thanking you eternally.
2. It was a willing sacrifice
that Jesus made.
Out of love, his perfect life
was the price that he paid.
We had no hope until he came
to save mankind.
But now our hope is finding life,
leaving death behind.
(CHORUS)
He gave his life to set us free.
His precious blood provides the key.
With all our hearts,
we’ll go on thanking you eternally.

COME TO CONSENSUS CORNER
POSSIBLE? Two months from now, on the 16th of the month, what day of the week will it be? How would you like to know the answer without having to check your phone, calendar, or appointment book, or recall some complex memorization device? What if time or days could be measured in a more orderly way? Might this increase our ability to organize activities better, and promote greater happiness? How would you like every month to begin on a Monday? What if every month was 4 weeks, or 28 days long? Is it possible to maintain this year after year? Many may recall that the year can primarily be split into 4 divisions of 13 weeks each, totaling 364 days. Thus, turning this around, could we have 13 months of 4 weeks each? And could we incorporate one additional month in a way that wouldn’t upset the balance of seasons that we’ve become accustomed to?
IT IS POSSIBLE! The answers may indeed be a resounding YES! Would the additional month necessarily have to be at the end of the year? Or rather, could it be divided up, one week at a time, at the conclusion of each 3-month period, at the beginning of each season? Initially, I proposed the month be named Humanity, largely as a reminder of the one human family God made, and the dignity with which we should accord one another within this family. However, the name of a month needs to be chosen carefully, so that it not be confused with normal words, which can cause misunderstandings, especially in the ears of young children. For instance, Humanity 1, Humanity 2, etc. could be misconstrued. Researching the origins of the word “month” led to a proposed adjustment, to recommend calling the month Humaneth. The meaning may be retained, and the origins explained and related to the appealing term of Humanity. Thus Humaneth 1-7 could appear at the end of the first 3 months, some days after the beginning of the spring equinox, which would normally occur around the time of March 20. And after 3 full months of 4 weeks each, what if some may even be able to have this week off from normal work activities, an additional rest and recreational period to add to the blessings of God’s Kingdom arrangement? Granted, this might not be possible for everyone, but perhaps those that must still work, may work less, and possibly alternate with other workers, to have off some other time of the year. We may be surprised what is possible with God’s blessing on this arrangement! What a fine time of reflection and activity each of these weeks could be, as we prepare for a new season!
YEAR TO YEAR? So with 4 separate weeks of Humaneth, the final being Humaneth 22-28 after the last normal month of the year, what can be done to account for the additional 1-1/4 days, the year actually being 365-1/4 days long? First, we need one additional day each year, to maintain the first of each month as Monday, the beginning of the week we’ve grown accustomed to. We certainly don't want every month the following year starting on Tuesday! While this day, Humaneth 29, would help maintain our sanity, following the Sunday of Humaneth 28, and avoid causing confusion with another day Monday through Sunday, which could be maintained each as 52 days of the year, a name appropriate to it's intended purpose might be simpy, "Reflection," or "Reflection Day". It would follow the Sunday of Humaneth 28, and give us pause before looking ahead to the new year.Either way, every fourth year, we would need one more additional day, Humaneth 30, to account for the Leap year. I would like to propose we actually call this “Quad Day,” having reference to the number 4, as I believe it would be advantageous for us to refer to each 4-year cycle as a “Quad,” or a "Quad cycle." It is evidently a period of time God built in to Earth’s journey around the Sun, and a period that should be recognized in some useful way, in counting time. It would still follow "Reflection" and likely also be a day of consideration of the prior 4 years, before looking ahead to the next.
OTHER MONTH NAMES. Then, while we’re looking at such significant changes, could we not reconsider even the names of our months? How beneficial are the meanings of the months as they are? What if they could be renamed in a way that would help our precious children gain values and understand more of what’s important in life, to be happier and more at peace with themselves and others? Let’s propose names that have meaning and provide some order to values contributing greatly to a wise and peaceful human family. Again, we can be careful to choose names that wouldn’t be confusing to words used ordinarily, so the names shouldn’t necessarily sound familiar:
In a new world of God’s making, benefitting from the rule of His Kingdom,
The first three months might be named accordingly:
(1) Prudency (Pru.) - Many would agree the first month should be about foresight, looking ahead at the upcoming year, perhaps doing some planning, and considering far-reaching goals. Prudence is a highly important aspect of divine wisdom, involving the looking ahead at the consequences of our decisions, and choosing a wise course. Hence, an appropriate name to begin the year. Some Bibles refer to this quality as “shrewdness.” (Proverbs 14:15). Integral to developing the proper reverence for God (or, godly fear or awe) is learning to hate what is bad, by realizing enough of it's harmful consequences (Prove 8:13).
(2) HopenGodJah (HGJ.) - Vital for happiness, and needed to be restored quickly if ever lost, is HOPE. And our hope should be in our Creator, first and foremost. (Romans 15:4). This was originally Hopengod, but it was determined that young children would be having trouble connecting God with His name, Jehovah or Jah, shortened, such as appears in the expression "Hallelujah", and which makes its appearance in the original text of God's word in many places. With this new name, they can make this connection as early as possible, and learn much about the true God and His loving, peaceable ways. The two verses especially encouraged to remember and share at the conclusion of this article may help young children similarly, but again it was determined that some still wouldn't make this connection without this important adjustment. Also, we may be reminded that we have several current month names that are 3- and 4-syllables long, which we often draw out without giving it a second thought.
(3) Noli (Nol.) - An important early value is learning to tell truth from falsehood. What a vital, life-saving ability! May we aim to gain and refine the wisdom to tell the difference, and refuse to carry on or promote harmful untruths.
After 4 weeks each of these months, would come the first week of Humaneth, 1-7.
The next three months of Spring might then be named:
(5) Agreehelp (Agr.) While considered an agricultural month, the name suggests a measure of peace, with encouragement to lovingly assist others to come to a proper view, and the abbreviation fits well with agriculture. Peace is to be a hallmark of God’s new world, so it appears here early on in development. This is a quality God expects us to strive to maintain with Him and fellow humans, never growing bitter and allowing hatred to fester toward others, but rather treating others with compassion and understanding where possible.
(6) Humblenes (Hml.) While this was previously Hapnesy , it has been determined that deep-seated joy should be experienced by lovers of God throughout the year, while this ever-vital quality or attitude of HUMILITY is such an important aspect of every faithful worshiper of God. Humility greatly promotes peaceful dealings and relationships with others, and assists a right relationship with Jehovah God himself. We should respect the knowledge and talents of others, which we likely are not fully aware of, and, as God's word recommends, "think of others as better than yourselves." (Philippians 2:3, NIRV).
After 4 weeks each of these months, would come the second week of Humaneth, 8-14.
The following three months of Summer might then be named:
(7) Jahferss (Jfs.) ,"Jah" being the shortened form of God's name, such as appears in the expression "Hallelujah."The unusual spelling helps to avoid confusion with the first day of the month. An example where this shortened form of God's name should appear in the Scriptures can be found at Isaiah 12:2, which says "Look! God is my salvation. I will trust and feel no dread; For Jah Jehovah is my strength and my might, And he has become my salvation.” Another verse that all should perhaps know, that could help young ears to learn who "Jah" is, would be Psalm 106:1, which reads: "Praise Jah! Give thanks to Jehovah, for he is good; His loyal love endures forever." Putting God first is important in the development of a person, contributing to the quality of godly devotion, which involves a close personal attachment to God as a person. The very first of the Ten Commandments requires that we give God exclusive devotion, not worshiping anyone or anything else. This makes possible His blessing on us as individuals, and as a nation or people. This expression may also help us remain a strong but humble people before God and one another, promoting genuine peace and happiness. Godly devotion was recognized by many of those founding this country, as they sought to worship God more freely in accord with His word the Bible. It is God Himself who made possible the founding of such a nation, in spite of the imperfections and weaknesses of men, and we do well to rightly give Him credit for such achievements.
(8) LisnaJah (Lis.) While others qualities originally held this spot, an emerging realization of the need to underscore as essential God's word became a high priority. In fact, the Scriptures point out that obedience to God is what's needed to bring about the purity that's considered a primary aspect of divine wisdom (James 3:17). And such also contributes greatly to genuine peace. These qualities are vital to develop divine wisdom and happiness. This initially appeared one month later, but logically should be placed prior to the reminder to love Jehovah's ways, and even our all-important faith begins with hearing the word of Jehovah. (Romans 10:17).
The concluding three months of Fall or Autumn might then be named:
(10) Autisciplince (Aut.) Our longest name, it carries an abbreviation appropriate for the beginning of Autumn. It’s meaning involves Self-discipline. How much better when we can correct ourselves to avoid wrongdoing, before others lovingly attempt to do so themselves! While we want to appreciate the appropriate efforts of others to offer correction where necessary, the development of this quality may enhance one’s life considerably.
(11) Goodsee (Gds.) After an early reminder to hope in God, we now may see much good from hard work and such faith as any remaining harvesting of crops takes place and we experience the fruitage of this work. This is a reminder of God’s blessing, and may cause appreciation and thankfulness to overflow within us.
(12) Loyalnes (Loy.) To round out the year, "loyal love" is a crowning goal and accomplishment, something all should strive for. The term loyalty has been chosen to best describe and remind us of the true "love" encouraged in God's word, at times translated "loyal love." The term "love" by itself is often applied in many different ways, which may contribute to confusion to the very young. This is the love spoken of in God's word that we are to have for God and fellow humans. As God has shown true loyal love to humans first, we are moved to reflect it to Him and others. Of God, Psalm 103:11 says: "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So great is his loyal love toward those [in awe of] him." And Proverbs 3:3 says "Do not let loyal love and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; Write them on the tablet of your heart." This loyal love should be shown to God first, then fellow humans, treating them in a beneficial way promoting their long-term happiness. This name thus carries such significance. "Loyal love" is the type of love highlighted throughout God's word that most closely identifies God Himself, in saying "God is love." (1John 4:8). Thus, when thinking of God, we might at times also think of this quality. Also, aspects of this quality appear in other month names, as described in 1Corinthians 13:4-8.For instance, love "hopes all things," it "rejoices with the truth," and it "does not rejoice over unrighteousness. "Also, in saying "love is patient," the term can be associated with loyalty, as a loyal person can patiently put up with a disagreeable circumstance in a relationship, seeking God-approved ways to correct it, with blazing hope of a restored condition. That's loyal love! Most, if not all, of the values presented as month names find good order as qualities that make for fruitful activity and a positive contribution to society.
After 4 weeks of each of these months, would come the fourth week of Humaneth, 22-28, 29 (proposed "Reflection"), and every fourth year, 30 (proposed "Quad Day")
CONCLUSION:
_______ (8b)
COME TO CONSENSUS CORNER
This week, let's include another of the policies that God's Kingdom by Christ could utilize to effectively improve working environments. In line with the IMMIGRATION policy revealed earlier, as well as the TRANSITION of some Government Department staff to Community Outreach Service Business Entities, or COSBE's, may allow for not only former government workers to find suitable and rewarding employment, but also enable many U.S. workers in challenging positions such as factory work to better realize their potential, qualifying to use their talents helping others in this way, while talented, good working immigrants, even alongside some formerly imprisoned, yearning for a chance to prove they can live right by God, also learn to handle some of these jobs as they are able, but with improved working conditions, aiming for satisfying employment.
Week 11: ISSUE BY ISSUE ADDRESSED BY GOD’S KINGDOM: PUSHING RESET: LETTING WORK BECOME MORE ENJOYABLE, REWARDING.
Isaiah 65:16-19: “16 So that anyone who seeks a blessing for himself in the earth Will be blessed by the God of truth...For the former distresses will be forgotten; They will be concealed from my eyes. 17 For look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be called to mind, Nor will they come up into the heart. 18 So exult and be joyful forever in what I am creating. For look! I am creating Jerusalem a cause for joy And her people a cause for exultation. 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem and exult in my people; No more will there be heard in her the sound of weeping or a cry of distress.”
Isaiah 65:22b-23: “22 They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full. 23 They will not toil for nothing, Nor will they bear children for distress, Because they are the offspring made up of those blessed by Jehovah, And their descendants with them.”
LOOKING FORWARD. While most in the U.S. seem to have been pretty content with their jobs in recent years, there are others who, while grateful to have work, still find it difficult to get through the workday. Many have been in this situation for years, and have gotten by, but have looked forward to a time, under God’s Kingdom, when work would be more refreshing, enjoyable. How might such a change come about?
THE BLESSING OF JEHOVAH. It is understandable that many companies have had to work hard to remain viable in the economy of recent years, and often they have felt forced to tighten the work ethic of their employees, to squeeze out every dime possible in profit, just to get by. Of course, sometimes this is because stock companies are driven to gradually increase profits, rather than just to remain profitable. However, under the rule of God’s Kingdom, good companies to remain will prove more reliant upon God for His blessing on their activities. They will be willing to submit to God’s direction as provided through His son. In recent years, emphasis has more often been placed on the dollar, with some attempt at maintaining a level of security and peace in the workplace. In the process, proper freedoms and happiness of the workers have often been left behind. While the money is a vital part of business, it is “the blessing of Jehovah that makes rich, and He adds no pain with it.” If all look to Jehovah and Christ, there is little reason why most good businesses would not be able to thrive while ensuring the security, peace, and also the happiness of those working for them.
NOTHING BETTER! Because of emphasis on certain scriptures, while neglecting others, some have come to believe God’s new world would be largely work-free, but rather, God made it a gift to man to see good for all his hard work. In fact, Ecclesiastes 2 says “24 There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and find enjoyment in his hard work. This too, I have realized, is from the hand of the true God.” Thus, our work should be purposeful, and beneficial toward mankind and in harmony with the will of God. Then, we may rejoice in our contribution to society, to a peaceful, prosperous and happy new world. Of course, there would be time for rest and relaxation. In fact, Ecclesiastes 4 says “6 Better is a handful of rest than two handfuls of hard work and chasing after the wind.” And Micah 4 says “4 They will sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, And no one will make them afraid, For the mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken.” While this prophecy is yet future, still can we not begin to think along the lines of new world living, and start incorporating better habits that will carry us into an eternity of happiness?
WORK SCHEDULES. While there is a variety of work schedules in our economy, for various reasons at each business, there are certain schedules that have become commonplace, and others that have contributed to more peace and enjoyment among workers. What if it was possible to have a common agreeable and reasonable work schedule that gave more time off to workers, while still allowing most a substantial workweek? What if we could “push reset,” and agree on a better schedule for most businesses? One that has found much favor is the four-day, 8-10 hour schedule, especially one that alternates between a Monday and Tuesday start from week to week. Why this? What if you started work on a Tuesday, and worked four days through Friday, looking forward to a normal two-day weekend. Then, the next week, you began Monday, and worked through Thursday, and this time, rather than a two-day weekend, you could enjoy a four-day weekend, Friday through Monday? Would that not allow for some extended freedom and enjoyment on the part of many, determining how best to utilize those four days off, every other weekend? The 10-hour per day schedule is less intrusive to life than a 12-hour schedule, which in practice begins to wear on many people, especially through night work. Some businesses could thrive on the forty-hour workweek, while others may be able to do just as well with a 8- or 9-hour day, and a 32- or 36-hour workweek. However, some factories may need continued work through the rest of the week. What if some workers wanted or needed extra work, and chose to extend their workweek into the Friday and/or Saturday for one week, and into the Saturday for the next? They might need the extra pay, at least for a time. What if other workers could work part-time, just the Friday and/or Saturday one week, and just the Saturday the next? Perhaps the alternating Monday could be downtime used for maintenance personnel on factory equipment, or the part-time workers could also work this day as well. Would not these part-time workers be good candidates to substitute during the regular week when an employee needs or wants off for some reason? The part-time workers could thus substitute during the week on occasion.
OTHER MATTERS. Also, as mentioned, some jobs are more challenging than others to maintain throughout a workday, such as some factory jobs. If we could "push reset," in many cases, could it be possible for the speed of the equipment to be cut back, even just a bit, to take some of the constant pressure or tension off of many workers, while still maintaining reasonable productivity? Understandably, the timing of some machinery may be such that this is not a simple task to achieve. Still,we shouldn't forget that happy workers can be productive workers! Thinking creatively, with God's blessing, there may be other ways to maintain profitability. As well, what if, wherever possible or appropriate, some of the more experienced workers, who’ve perhaps over the years filled several positions in the work at various times, could become sort of “relief workers,” able to fill in for a worker who could use a break for a time, for a drink and a chance to relax, make a phone call, etc. before returning? These relief workers may well know the more trying jobs, and could provide assistance to these more often than others. They might also help each other to learn jobs or skills they may not yet know well enough. And they may start their day by filling in for one of the workers who, on occasion, could meet with a supervisor to discuss progress and improvement on the job, as well as any issues that are impeding productivity or job contentment. Having kind and understanding supervisors, of course, would go a long way to promoting job satisfaction. A relief worker could thus also be available for filling in if someone had a genuine emergency and couldn’t come in, until a replacement shows up for work. Then, certainly, job assignments should be examined on occasion to look for ways to make them less demanding, and more reasonably accommodating to an average worker. And, utilizing workers in the right place may also be useful, as some workers thrive on excitement and busy-ness, while others may tend to be more thoughtful and thorough. Most, still, can rise to the occasion when called upon to do so, but a mismatch of personality could create unnecessary tension in an otherwise contented worker.
TRUE SUCCESS. Thus, most good businesses could do well in such a scenario, as they look to God to bless their efforts and their work to be successful and profitable. You may have noticed Sunday work has not been mentioned. Could not Jehovah’s hand be on the matter, to bless and reward a business that acknowledges His Sabbath requirement, to allow workers time off for spiritual matters? Psalm 127:1 says: “127 Unless Jehovah builds the house, It is in vain that its builders work hard on it. Unless Jehovah guards the city, It is in vain that the guard stays awake.” Therefore, God’s blessing should be sought paramount on one’s business, with the realization that God’s loving and wise ways contribute to true success! Certainly Jehovah can assist with finding the contracts or work necessary to keep a business thriving, or at least afloat through an occasional downtime. In this, TRUE success could be found, in looking to God and wisely supporting the doing of His will toward mankind!
CONCLUSION
LOOK TO JEHOVAH. What blessings could be in store if most all can be respectful of, and agreeable to, God’s direction for the work that will be done to promote security, peace, and happiness among mankind under the rule of His son! When a business owner and fellow employees look to Jehovah for His blessing, in a work that has His smile of approval, while humbly seeking to be guided by God’s wisdom in business and work activities, there is a good chance of it proving successful. If such a business does start to decline, pray about the matter, and look for the answer, trusting that God may well supply it if we act in faith, or deep trust in Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 says this: “5 Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways take notice of him, And he will make your paths straight.” Such is the path of a righteous one. Proverbs 4:18 says “18 But the path of the righteous is like the bright morning light That grows brighter and brighter until full daylight.” Revelation also holds promise of a new and better world. After promising an end to such things as death, pain and sorrow, God offers this message: "And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new.” Also he says: “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” (Revelation 21:3-5). May we all look forward to the promised blessings of God’s Kingdom, and the conditions for which human hearts long—the genuine security, peace, happiness, prosperity and freedom that belong to the people of Jehovah!
