This lovely song could remind us of the the power and beauty of the natural uncut pines, or the serious issue of chopping pines as holiday trees, the only living decarbonizers of the atmosphere throughout the winter months. Records indicate a steady increase in average high summer temperatures correlating to the millions of pines being cut annually, some 32deg over 50 years (117 to now 149). Two solutions are being proposed. One, having a city/town tree to be decorated, and which can be visited throughout the holiday season by the community. Two, limiting the home to a much smaller tree, if needed, a two-foot cypress being the best option, as these are much less powerful, but even a two-foot pine is only 1/10 the power of a full-size tree. Still, these can help oxygenate a home and decorations can still be applied creatively, though still cautiously.
