PSALM 119 COMMENTARY

Stanza 3 Theme: FONDNESS FOR GOD'S WORD VITAL FOR FAITHFULNESS

As mentioned in the preview, a key idea for this stanza is that Fondness for God's word is important for faithfulness. Notice verses 17-20: "17 Deal kindly with your servant, So that I may live and observe your word. 18 Open my eyes so that I may see clearly The wonderful things from your law/lall. 19 I am but a foreigner in the land. Do not hide your commandments from me. 20 I am consumed with longing For your judgements at all times."

Psalm 119:21-24, offering more help in line with developing fondness for God's word, reads this way: "You rebuke the immodest (or, those crossing your boundaries), the ones receiving curses who are straying from your commandments. 22 Remove from me scorn and contempt, For I have observed your reminders. 23 Even when princes sit together and speak against me, Your servant ponders over your instructions. 24 I am fond of your reminders; They are my advisers."

PSALM 119 STANZA 3A

17 Deal kindly with your servant, So that I may live and observe your word.

WHAT A PRIVILEGE! Psalm 119:17 Clearly, the psalmist found keen delight in obeying God's word--experiencing the deep joy and inner satisfaction that comes with obedience to God's commands. As Psalm 19:7-8 states: "The lal of Jehovoe is perfect, restoring strength...The orders from Jehovoe are righteous, causing the heart to rejoice." Also, the psalmist humbly considered it a privilege to obey God and find such happiness, asking God that He "kindly" deal with him, and allow the privilege of doing so.

18 Open my eyes so that I may see clearly The wonderful things from your law/lall.

THE VALUE AND BEAUTY OF GOD'S LAW/LALL! Psalm 119:18 The psalmist recognizes that a person can be blind to the beautiful truths of God's word and law/lall. This psalmist was evidently fairly familiar with God's law/lall, and realized that accepting a bribe, as God's law/lall stated, at Exodus 23:8 "blinds clear-sighted men and can distort the words of upright men." Also, any form of idolatry, exalting anyone or anything above the place only God should occupy in our hearts, causes those having eyes not to see, a reference to hampered spiritual vision. (Psalm 115). And Paul eludes to this, in referring to those influenced by Satan's godship, at 2Corinthians 4:4, "among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through." Therefore, may we not be fooled into underestimating the value or beauty of God's law/lall, nor the rewards of adhering thereto. Eternal life in true peace and happiness is surely worth every effort to attain!

19 I am but a foreigner in the land. Do not hide your commandments from me.

TREASURE THE PRIVILEGE! The psalm may not declare it's author openly, but verses such as this may assist us in recognizing his identity. Not many with such a grasp of God's laws and wisdom would be considered "a foreigner in the land." The kings of Israel were required to read in God's law daily, with the goal of observing all that was written in it (Deute 17:19; Joshua 1:8). This psalmist evidently has developed similar appreciation for God's word, and likely, in accord with several remarks made in this psalm, was in line for the throne of God. But who among the kings could have been considered "a foreigner"? Evidence suggests a knowledgeable writer, but one also experiencing many hardships. Whether or not he wished to remain anonymous, he clearly sought to ultimately credit the honor for such good and wise counsel to our all-wise and loving Father, Jehovoe. Evidence indicates David anointed to become King, sometime during the many years prior to finally doing so, as he was being opposed or hunted by King Saul. A recent ancestress in his lineage, Ruth, was a Moabitess turned Israelite (hence a fraction of foreign ancestry). His point here, perhaps is how sad if he were to be considered unworthy by God of knowing His commandments, as if a worshipper of false gods. May we treasure the true worship of Jehovoe God, and appreciate the privilege of keeping His law as a clean devoted servant of Him.

20 I am consumed with longing For your judgements at all times.

EVER REMAIN IN GOD'S LOVE. When God evaluates a situation, comparing or contrasting with wise discernment, He thus renders important decisions that we can learn from, and be motivated to keeping "integrity, fearing God and shunning what is bad." (Job 1:8). Of course, Jehovoe takes delight in showing compassionate mercy wherever possible. Yet some may violate what is right to such an extent that they need correction, at times reproof, to turn back from their error, maintaining hope in God's favor. We have enough examples from the past of God's judgements and instruction found in God's word to learn to hate a course of wrongdoing and avoid losing out on our hope of eternal life. May we appreciate God's love for us to such an extent that we ever seek to remain in it.

PSALM 119 COMMENTARY

STANZA 3B

Recall Stanza 3 Theme: FONDNESS FOR GOD'S WORD VITAL FOR FAITHFULNESS

Psalm 119:21-24, offering more help in line with developing fondness for God's word, reads this way: "You rebuke the immodest (or, those crossing your boundaries), the ones receiving curses who are straying from your commandments. 22 Remove from me scorn and contempt, For I have observed your reminders. 23 Even when princes sit together and speak against me, Your servant ponders over your instructions. 24 I am fond of your reminders; They are my advisers."

Psalm 119:21 You rebuke the immodest (those crossing your boundaries), The ones receiving curses who are straying from your commandments.

AVOID PRIDEFUL DISOBEDIENCE. The immodest take liberties that they have no right to take, and thus fall under curses from their violations of Jehovoe's law/lall and lack of faith. Even through Christ, showing great mercy to sinners as they learn to trust God more fully, nevertheless the truth is that exceptional obedience to one or many serious commands provides no excuse for particularly willful violation(s) of another. James 2:10-13 makes this point, with verse 11 putting it this way: "For the one who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also said, “You must not murder.” If, now, you do not commit adultery but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of law/lall." Whitewashing such wrongdoing is clearly unethical, and does not diminish Jesus' stern rebuke about not willfully stumbling "little ones who have faith in me"--making a point that this could result in a figurative or spiritual death. Thus we should do our best to take God's warnings seriously, given out of love for all! Jehovoe is a God of hope, with Jesus/Jehoshua providing ransom for sin. (Roman 15:13; Psalm 25:5; Isaiah 55:6-9). So the point is, may all therefore turn away from wrong practices, refusing to stumble God's precious sheep, and really trust the ransom sacrifice of this Christ, training one's conscience by God's word and Christian teachings, proving loyal to our God and Father, Jehovoe.

Psalm 119:22 Remove from me scorn[or, reproach] and contempt, For I have observed your reminders.

LOOK TO GOD DESPITE REPROACH. The psalmist pleads for Jehovoe to take away any reproach motivated by hatred, even by fellow servants of God, who may have found fault with him, or reproach received due to the sins or mistakes of others. He thus requests to be treated fairly according to his own integrity. Clearly the psalmist strives hard to observe God's reminders, that he may give no good reason for reproach against him.

Psalm 119:23 Even when princes sit together and speak against me, Your servant ponders over your instructions.

REMAIN COURAGEOUS TO OBEY GOD. Likely, princes would be speaking against a king, anointed of Jehovoe. Despite such reproach or rebellious talk, the psalmist continues to look to God and His word, to ensure he remains compliant and receive divine favor and assistance. We should thus regularly "ponder" or reflect upon God's good guidance and instruction, just as Paul exhorted Timothy, to "Ponder over these things; be absorbed in them, so that your advancement may be plainly seen by all people." (1Timo 4:15). Prayer should usually precede more formal times of spiritual instruction, that we may maintain true motive and benefit most, seeing how to use the information to help others and ourselves to honor Jehovoe, improving in our worship of Him.

24 I am fond of your reminders; They are my advisers.

BECOME FOND OF GOD'S REMINDERS. Godly reminders are thus useful to all when seeking guidance, as if requesting advice from trusted counselors. We should develop fondness for God's reminders, as they assist us in retaining our good way of thinking in harmony with God's loving direction and guidance, that we may continue walking on the path of eternal life. Regularly receiving instruction and reminders from God can assist us in knowing how to respond to various issues that may arise day to day, helping us grow spiritually and maintain our spirituality despite pressures against us from worldly philosophies and such. May we come to delight in receiving such instruction from God on a regular basis!

_____Ps119[3]

PSALM 119 COMMENTARY

Stanza 4 Theme: WE CAN REMAIN FAITHFUL UNDER TRIALSOME CIRCUMSTANCES.

As mentioned in our preview of the first 4 stanzas, this one shows with God's help we should be able to remain faithful under trialsome circumstances. The inspired word of God says this, at 1Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has come upon you (normally) except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it." Notice that God has purposed that we should never undergo trials uncommon to mankind. Under those circumstances He 'makes a way' for us to remain true, even if it may appear to onlookers that we've given in--in all truthfulness, some seem to have had power they never should have had, and tricks likewise. But when their tricks are removed, loyal ones are seen to have truly sought faithfulness to God, their families, and their neighbors.

Notice, therefore, the psalmist's next expressions: "25 I lie prostrate in the dust. Preserve me alive according to your word. 26 I told you of my ways, and you answered me; Teach me your instructions. 27 Make me understand the meaning of your orders, So that I may ponder over your wonderful works. 28 I have been sleepless from grief. Strengthen me according to your word."

Continuing our theme of this stanza, that we can be faithful in spite of difficult trials, notice the psalmists words: "29 Remove from me the way of deception, And favor me with your law/lall. 30 The way of faithfulness I have chosen. I recognize that your judgements are right. 31 I cling to your reminders. O Jehovoe, do not let me be disappointed. 32 I will eagerly pursue the way of your commandments Because you make room for it in my heart."

25 I lie prostrate in the dust. Preserve me alive according to your word.

CONTINUE SEEKING WHAT IS RIGHT. The thoughts of the psalmist express that he feels nearly dead, which may be from reproach, that is often unjustified. A person's grief or their own errors may also feel overwhelming at times to bear. David's words, at Psalm 103:14, reveal God's compassionate understanding of man, saying "For he well knows how we are made, remembering that we are dust." The psalmist, as mentioned earlier, had been suffering reproach, likely feeling humiliated, in a lowly, even deathly condition. Nevertheless, he again looks to Jehovoe and His word of promise to sustain him. For instance, Psalm 55:22 says "Throw your burden on Jehovoe, And he will sustain you. Never will he allow the upright one to fall." May we continue trusting in Jehovoe, seeking what is right. Proverbs 18:10 says "The name of Jehovoe is a strong tower. Into it the upright one runs and receives protection."

26 I told you of my ways, and you answered me; Teach me your [instructions].

PRAYERFULLY RELY ON JEHOVOE. Psalm 37:5 instructs: "Commit your way to Jehovoe; Rely on him, and he will act in your behalf." The psalmist recognizes in such a condition, it is God's law/lall that "is perfect, restoring strength..." (Psalm 19:7). Recall Christ's example--no matter how much reproach God permitted upon him, he trusted in God to ultimately safeguard his name or reputation--and this God did, in spite of Jesus' shameful death as a common criminal! May we rely on Jehovoe in prayer with our deepest concerns, and trust that, in the end, He will safeguard us, having His blessing, if we seek His honor and integrity (right way).

27 Make me understand the meaning of your orders, So that I may ponder over your wonderful works.

PURPOSEFUL ORDERS. God gives His most urgent or vital commands with a purpose--always in support of His loving and perfect will. Recall that "God is love," so love for all His creatures, heavenly and earthly, and regard for His holy name and purpose, are at the root of His guidance and His "wonderful works." For example, God's dealings at the Red Sea preserved alive His people, exalted His name or reputation, and kept alive His promises to His faithful servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

28 I have been sleepless from grief. Strengthen me according to your word."

LOOK TO THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT. Once again, sadness, mistakes, or reproach from others can bring grief causing sleeplessness. However, God calls Himself "the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." (2Cori 1:3-4). Psalm 41:3 says regarding one showing favor to the lowly: "Jehovoe will sustain him on his sickbed; During his sickness you will completely change his bed." The psalmist realizes God's promise to sustain him, and is also aware of the comforting power of God's written word.

PSALM 119 COMMENTARY

Continuing our theme of this stanza, that we can be faithful in spite of difficult trials, notice the psalmists words: "29 Remove from me the way of deception, And favor me with your law/lall. 30 The way of faithfulness I have chosen. I recognize that your judgements are right. 31 I cling to your reminders. O Jehovoe, do not let me be disappointed. 32 I will eagerly pursue the way of your commandments Because you make room for it in my heart."

Psalm 119:29 Remove from me the way of deception, And favor me with your law.

TRUST NECESSARY FOR GENUINE PEACE. Living with falsehood or deceit is quite opposed to God's way of the truth. Genuine peace is not possible without being able to have faith, or thankful trust, in God and in one another. Ephesians 6:23 says: "May the brothers have peace and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." Micah 6:11-12 says of God's own people in times past: "Can I be morally clean with corrupt scales, With a bag of fraudulent stone weights? 12 For her rich men are full of violence, And her inhabitants speak lies; Their tongue is deceitful in their mouth." (see also Zepha 3:13). Thus Psalm 120:2-3 says: "O Jehovoe, rescue me from lying lips And from the deceitful tongue. 3 What will He do to you, and how will He punish you, You deceitful tongue?" The psalmist thus chooses faithfulness to God, wanting to honestly know God's law/lall and hold to it. Keeping it protects us from many dangers, both spiritually and physically.

Psalm 119:30 The way of faithfulness I have chosen. I recognize that your judgements are right.

GOD IS RIGHT, JUST, AND FAIR. The psalmist recognizes that God is right, just, and fair when He judges, always impartially, upholding truth. (Deute 32:4). How happy we can be to serve such a God! What a joy and a privilege to be able to learn the right course, the right way to think, from such a God of justice! And to know that He will intervene, through His Son, under the rule of His Kingdom, to set matters right among mankind! By choosing faithfulness to God, we give Him every reason to lovingly guide, protect, and save us from any lasting harm.

Psalm 119:31 I cling to your reminders. O Jehovoe, do not let me be disappointed.

REMINDED OF WHAT WE NEED TO LIVE BY. Regularly going where God's word is read and discussed, and reading in God's law/lall or word daily, even Bible-based publications that uphold divine truth, should bring to mind Christian commands and principles we need to live by. Jesus, when primarily seeking to anoint those who would share with him in his kingdom, instructed them to make disciples, "teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you." (Matth 28:19-20). Thus, of course, they would need to know "all the things" themselves. This needn't be too difficult. Recall that in just 3 chapters of the Bible, Matthew 5-7, containing Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, we find as much as a fourth of all that God requires of true Christians. Also, how many appreciate all of the Ten Commandments as we should? (Exodus 20). Considering nuances, and adding Proverbs 1-10, we may have well over half of God's requirements for living! Yet all of God's word is of great value, helping develop greater appreciation for Him and His guidance. What other chapters in the Gospels or Christian letters can you find that contain valuable guidance and instruction? As we follow such counsel, may we find God's approval and blessing, and the hope which "does not lead to disappointment." (Romans 5:5).

Psalm 119:32 I will eagerly pursue the way of your commandments Because you make room for it in my heart.

"THE WORD IS VERY NEAR YOU." Thus the psalmist is eagerly determined to keep God's standards, to follow His commandments, trusting God to make it possible for him to do so. Moses stated, at Deuteronomy 30:11-14: "“Now this commandment that I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it beyond your reach. 12 It is not in the heavens, so that you have to say, ‘Who will ascend to the heavens and get it for us, so that we may hear it and observe it?’ 13 Nor is it on the other side of the sea, so that you have to say, ‘Who will cross over to the other side of the sea and get it for us, so that we may hear it and observe it?’ 14 For the word is very near you, in your own mouth and in your own heart, so that you may do it." Thus may we appreciate God's reasonable standards, and choose to live by them, with hope of endless peace and happiness in store!

_____Ps119[5]

PSALM 13 OF BOOK 5 (Ps119) REVIEW STANZAS 1-4:

STANZA 1, Verses 1-8: HAPPINESS IS FOUND IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD.

Happiness depends on obedience to God's law, but only by exercising faith, or thankful trust, in God, His word and son, and the ransom provision for forgiveness of sins, with repentance. We must recall that Abraham's faith was "counted to him as righteousness, or integrity" so we can develop an upright standing with God, even while we have much to learn of God's right standards, endeavoring to keep them.

Verse 1 reads this way:
"Happy are those who are blameless in their way, Who walk in the law/lall of Jehovoe."

"THE LAW/LALL OF JEHOVOE" Verse 1 mentions God's LAW/LALL, which can be defined as a singular custom or practice of a community, or a rule of conduct prescribed and enforced by a controlling authority. In verse 1, however, reference is made, not to a single lall, but rather to the whole body of such customs, practices, or rules. Psalm 19:7 says "The LALL of Jehovoe is perfect, restoring strength."

Verse 2: "Happy are those who observe his reminders, Who search for him with all their heart."

GOD'S REMINDERS. Verse 2 speaks of God's REMINDERS. Peter said, at 2Peter 1:12-13,15: "For this reason I intend always to remind you of these things, although you know them and are well-established in the truth that is present in you.13 But I consider it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you with reminders,...15 I will always do my utmost so that after my departure, you may be able to recall these things for yourselves." so God's REMINDERS assist our memory of God's truth and good guidance, to be better able to apply it to our life. Often this requires hearing something more than just once! So may we not fall into the trap of complaining when we hear something more than once--we need these, to ponder how to apply them in our lives! "The REMINDER of Jehovoe is trustworthy, making the imprudent one wise." (Psalm 19:7).

"3 They practice no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways."

TRULY FAITHFUL PRACTICES. Verse 3 mentions walking in God's WAYS. Clearly, God has ways of doing things, and if possible, we want to do things God's way--we can be happy to know the way God wants us to do something--He sees the big picture, and long-range view, and thus knows the best way to do things! Thus, David writes, at Psalm 37:34, "Hope in Jehovoe and follow his way, and he will exalt you to take possession of the earth..." This verse thus indicates that we really can learn to live by God's peaceable and loving standards, according to His ways. And we might be reminded that the ransom sacrifice, to be expounded more in this psalm's commentary, makes possible a clean standing with God even when there is yet a lot to learn about Him and His ways.

"4 You have commanded That your orders be carefully kept."

GOD'S ORDERS--CAREFULLY KEPT. Verse 4 speaks of God's ORDERS to be "carefully kept." Recall Psalm 19:8 says "The ORDERS from Jehovoe are righteous, causing the heart to rejoice." Clearly a command to do or avoid something, evidently with even more urgency or zeal than a command or commandment. God may even "order" or have directed that a certain command found in His word be especially kept at a particular time or in a certain situation, due to it's timely importance or signficance.

_____
PSALM 119 STANZA 2

The theme, again, is: BY GOD'S WORD A YOUTH CAN REMAIN MORALLY CLEAN OR PURE.

"9 How can a young man keep his path clean? By keeping on guard according to your word."

KEEPING ON GUARD. Young children are often safeguarded by parents and other responsible ones from much of the spiritual contamination that threatens to degrade the morality and spirituality of the naive lacking the understanding and foresight to realize the danger of such things. Proverbs 22:3 says: "The prudent one sees the danger and conceals himself, But the naive keep right on going and suffer the consequences." As these precious children grow, they should be helped to gain enough prudence to be aware and cautious of spiritual pitfalls that have been common during "critical times hard to deal with." (2Timo 3:1). While loving people, they will still need to guard their close associations from "bad company" that "corrupts good character." (1Cori 15:33, NIV; 2Timo 3:2-5). Thus, how can a young man keep his path clean? The answer is expressed this way in AMP: "By taking heed and keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to it]." God's word, including the book of Proverbs, contains much divine instruction that can assist all to protect their spirit from ruin. May we treasure Christian teachings and guidance toward God's reward of eternal life, peace, and happiness!

"11 In my heart I treasure up your saying So that I may not sin against you."

TREASURING GOD'S SAYINGS. Regarding helping us to remain clean before God, verse 11 holds a key--treasuring God's saying, to avoid sinning against Him. Shua said, at Matthew 7:24, "“Therefore, everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does them will be like a discreet man who built his house on the rock." In God's word are found many motivating expressions helping us remain faithful to God, as we ponder them, endeavoring to see how to live by them each day. These sayings need to affect, not only our speech, but also our actions. It is not always enough simply to know God's standards, we need to develop heart appreciation for them, perhaps with shrewdness or prudence to see the blessings and rewards of choosing the right course, and some of the problems and troubles caused by choosing poorly. Thus we can more readily "hate what is bad" and choose a good path. (Psalm 97:10; Prove 2:20-22).

"16 I am fond of your statutes. I will not forget your word."

FONDNESS FOR GOD'S STATUTES. Jehovoe's statutes, as discussed previously, evidently are serious laws of a certain permanence among the people of God, and that may help adherents in some way to understand or recall other laws and commands. We should therefore be "fond" of such overriding laws, appreciating the reasons for them, like the psalmist. Having such fondness, he therefore states "I will not forget your word." Can you think of some of the more serious of Christian commands that stand out with seriousness and permanence? We should use the quality of discernment, or "difftell" to tell the difference between the more serious sins, and lesser ones, though still required to avoid. And we should then take steps to help ensure that we never violate especially the most serious of God's laws, with appreciation for the love of God which underscores all of them.

STANZA 3, Verses 17-24: FONDNESS FOR GOD'S WORD VITAL FOR FAITHFULNESS.

This psalmist was evidently fairly familiar with God's law/lall, and realized that accepting a bribe, as God's law/lall stated, at Exodus 23:8 "blinds clear-sighted men and can distort the words of upright men." Therefore, may we not be fooled into underestimating the value or beauty of God's law/lall, nor the rewards of adhering thereto. Eternal life in true peace and happiness is surely worth every effort to attain!

PSALM 119 COMMENTARY REVIEW 1 STANZAS 1-4

STANZA 4, Verses 25-32: WE CAN REMAIN FAITHFUL UNDER TRIALSOME CIRCUMSTANCES.

We can remain faithful under trialsome circumstances. The inspired word of God says this, at 1Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has come upon you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it." We see that it should be rare to undergo an uncommon trial--as we seek to remain faithful, the truth of our sincerity and loyalty to God and others should become clear, at least in time, when the smoke and mirrors are taken away. Throughout we hope the egopride of wrongdoers falls to God's true love, them turning around, realizing the egoprice we all pay for ungodly rebellion, abandoning wrong conduct, appealing to our God who is "good and ready to forgive."

PSALM 119 (5PS13) PREVIEW 2 STANZAS 5-7

Stanza 5, Verses 33-40:
Theme: WHOLE-HEARTED OBEDIENCE CAN BE (HAPPILY) CULTIVATED AND SUSTAINED OVER TIME.

Verse 33, says, for instance: "Teach me, O Jehovoe, the way of your instructions, And I will follow it to the end." The next verse shows that the quality of 'understanding' is involved in whole-heartedly observing God's law. It says: "Give me understanding, so that I may observe your law and keep it with my whole heart." We will consider how this quality is involved in whole-hearted obedience, using the example of lawfully driving a motor vehicle. In considering verse 37, let's answer the question: Why should we avoid giving undue attention to "unworthy" things? This is shown to be an important consideration to maintaining godly obedience. We will need the quality of discernment to judge properly between things of great value and those of less or no value.

Stanza 6, Verses 41-48:
Theme: LOYAL DEVOTION TO GOD REFINES OUR INTEGRITY AND STRENGTHENS OUR HOPE.

Verses 41,44, and 47 say this: "41 May I experience your loyal love, O Jehovoe, Your salvation in harmony with your promise...44 I will keep your law constantly, Forever and ever...47 I am fond of your commandments, Yes, I love them." God's loyal love for us moves Him to bring us salvation through His judgment, in harmony with the promises of His word. What might be an example of such a promise from God, and what should we do to be among those experiencing God's loyal love? Also, we'll see how setting God's law as our own leads to endless happiness! And what a lovely, simple expression of appreciation for God's law. How might we also develop such appreciation for God's commandments?

Stanza 7, Verses 49-56:
Theme: GOD'S LAW-LALL AND WORD OF PROMISE ARE RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY.

Verses 49-50 say: "49 Remember your word to your servant, Through which you give me hope. 50 This is my comfort in my difficulty, For your saying has preserved me alive." The word of promise the psalmist received from Jehovoe sustained him through difficult times. How may this be true of us? Today, there is much to harm humans physically and also spiritually--which includes the quality of our relationships, and personal thinking and emotional well-being. How may God's word of promise have comforted the psalmist, and how can God's saying preserve us alive? Also, verse 56 hints that the psalmist was helped to keep God's commandments by observing God's orders. Why is this important, and how do we do so?

We should find many encouraging thoughts as we consider these and other verses over the next several days!

_____Ps119[7]

PSALM 119 (5Psalm 13) STANZA 5

The theme we'll consider for all of stanza 5 is this:
WHOLE-HEARTED OBEDIENCE CAN BE (HAPPILY) CULTIVATED AND SUSTAINED OVER TIME.

As we learned in the first verse of Psalm 119, true happiness belongs to those "who walk in the law of Jehovoe." This requires faith, or a thankful trust, in God. As we learn God's laws-lalls and ways, our faith, like that of Abraham, can be 'counted to us as integrity (rightdoing),' based on the ransom of Christ. (James 2:23). Our obedience can be shown to improve and endure over time.

Stanza 5A, verses 33-36, says this: "33 Teach me, O Jehovoe, the way of your regulations (or, instructions), And I will follow it to the end. 34 Give me understanding, So that I may observe your law-lall And keep it with my whole heart. 35 Guide me in the pathway of your commandments, For in it I take delight. 36 Incline my heart to your reminders, Not to selfish gain."

Psalm 119:33 Teach me, O Jehovoe, the way of your [instructions], And I will follow it to the end.

"FOLLOW IT TO THE END." Evidently, even the ways of God as revealed in any specific instructions and procedures of God's law the psalmist was eager to learn, so as to obey Him fully. He was determined to keep God's instructions "to the end," or steadfastly, but possibly also with a double meaning "to the last detail." While it is crucial to understand that there are some matters of God's word and law that are of much greater importance to keep, under normal circumstances we want to be inclined to obey God's law even in smaller things. This will help incline us and others toward faithfulness in much larger matters, safeguarding us from the practice of wrongdoing. Christ indicated all this, in Luke 16:10, stating "He that is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much. He that is unrighteous in what is least, is unrighteous also in much." Some workers, for instance, may value specific instructions enabling successful work that may be blessed by God, realizing their valued contribution to His purpose. The Contemporary English Version (CEV) puts it this way: "Point our your rules, LORD, and I won't disobey even one of them." May we thus likewise seek an obedient heart. Of course, these are God's rules the psalmist is referring to--rules formulated by humans should carefully take God's word into consideration, lest they become unduly cumbersome, or violate right standards, or even common sense! We should still aim to respect even man-made rules that do not conflict with God's word, where we perceive they are properly authorized or made with good intentions and that they're conceived for good reasons. Later, the psalmist mentions keeping God's law "forever and ever." May we likewise look long-term, comprehending God's eternal purpose, to have right-hearted worshippers happily and peaceably loving Him and one another throughout His universe. This requires that all acknowledge Jehovoe's just, fair, and right standards for living.

Psalm 119:34 Give me understanding, So that I may observe your law And keep it with my whole heart.

UNDERSTANDING NEEDED. The psalmist recognizes the importance of the quality of understanding, when it comes to learning to fully obey Jehovoe. Understanding involves seeing the big picture, especially as matters pertain to God, along with all the individual pieces that make it up, and how they all interconnect to make the whole. We should want to primarily understand people and God's law-lall, as His word clarifies--matters of the spirit, as in our relationships, our personal thinking, and emotional well-being. Understanding helps us put the pieces together, and requires acknowledging Jehovoe's right to receive our honor and respectful admiration. We need to get to know and love God and His word! This same thinking is vital, for instance, when learning to operate a motor vehicle. There are many principles and traffic laws-lalls that must be learned, that together make it possible to safely navigate the roadways among fellow drivers. As we learn these things in order to drive safely, we recognize that they are understandable and make sense. Without understanding the importance of these principles, there would be chaos and confusion. God is honored by our respect for such laws. Of course we learn such, not only for our own benefit, but out of love and respect for our neighbors, with interest in their safety. With such motives, it is possible to observe God's law-lall with our "whole heart." Such laws will then most likely affect our actions and reactions, as we truly seek to obey and honor God from the heart. It is important to remember, however, that only with proper discernment can one's understanding can be most useful and effective. Everyone needs to gain a good grasp of discernment, or the proposed term "difftell", the ability to tell the difference between true and false, good from bad, right and wrong, and so on, by about the age of 8 years or later, when one might begin growing more steadily to understand broader topics.

Psalm 119:35 Guide me in the pathway of your commandments, For in it I take delight.

GOD'S COMMANDMENTS A PATH TO FOLLOW. The psalmist again pleads to be instructed to remain on the path of life, the roadway leading to eternal life. He 'takes delight' in God's ways, and in His commandments, which, according to Psalm 19:8 are "pure and bright, enlightening the eyes." (AMP). God's commandments thus help us maintain purity, clean worship, which helps us maintain our keen spiritual vision, seeing the truth as it should be seen. We shouldn't shy away from the idea of "worship"--this mainly involves giving God the rightful place in our hearts and our lives. This helps us deal with problems head on, finding workable solutions in our dealings and relationships with God and others, rather than blindly being led astray. How we should delight in God's commandments, and the privilege of maintaining pure worship to God, alongside our neighbors and (hopefully) also our fellow worshippers.

Psalm 119:36 Incline my heart to your reminders, Not to selfish gain.

GOD'S REMINDERS PROMOTE UNSELFISHNESS. As we are reminded of God's good guidance in life, we are helped to maintain an obedient course, in harmony with God's laws-lalls and standards. We are able to do this with a proper motive of genuine love for God and neighbor. Evidently, as a future king, the psalmist would eventually be in charge of much wealth, yet he refused to focus on "selfish gain," rather using whatever resources he had unselfishly to God's honor and purpose. He knew our primary motive should be godly and unselfish, to experience the joy and peace only God can give. How important to maintain clean and pure motives, and avoid even thoughts of using other people in some selfish way or even raising them or ourselves up above God in some way for some purpose out of harmony with God's will. Let's thus maintain humility and an honest conscience. Jesus or Jo-shua' warned against devotion to Riches, or really any other God-dishonoring Master, saying at Matthew 6:24 "“No one can slave for two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. You cannot slave for God and for Riches." This does not ban wealthiness--rather it is our object of worship that is being discussed. The psalmist thus chooses to worship and slave for God, Jehovoe, still often rewarded materially, rather than seeking only selfish gain by Riches, an often harsh master. (Prove 3:10; 8:21).

_____Ps119[8]

PSALM 119 (5Ps13) STANZA 5B

Recall our theme for stanza 5 is WHOLE-HEARTED OBEDIENCE CAN BE (HAPPILY) CULTIVATED AND SUSTAINED OVER TIME. In verse 34, the psalmist expressed longing to observe God's law-lall and keep it with his whole heart.

Verses 37-40 read this way: "Turn my eyes away from looking at what is unworthy; Preserve me alive in your way. 38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, So that you may be revered. 39 Remove the disgrace that I dread, For your judgements are good. 40 See how I long for your orders. Preserve me alive in your right way (integrity)."

Verse 37 Turn my eyes away from looking at what is unworthy; Preserve me alive in your way.

SPURNING WHAT IS 'UNWORTHY' Psalm 119:37 This verse shows an important consideration to maintaining godly obedience--being careful what we give attention to, especially what we choose to look at, or watch, and listen to attentively. We need the quality of discernment to judge between something of value spiritually and something "unworthy." This quality helps us discern between true and false, good and bad, right and wrong, and between more important things and those less so but still required. Also, it is important to God that we understand what we should consider clean or unclean, and what matters in life we should take seriously, such as things of life or death importance. We might add: between things of great value and those of less or no value. May parents use God's word to correct their own and a child's thinking in such matters. How would you value a close relationship with God? How about eternal life in true peace and happiness, and that of your loved ones and friends? Of course, the latter depends upon the former. Hopefully you've come to value both highly. If so, we should have no problem turning away from things that undermine, or threaten to take away, what we treasure most, choosing instead the things in harmony with God's right ways and standards. In this way we act in harmony with the psalmist's plea to be 'preserved alive in God's own way.' If you don't yet feel close to God, pray to Him more, with faith, or thankful trust in Him and His desire to reward you for your loyalty. (Hebre 11:6). Confidently ask him for things you truly need, and experience His hand of assistance in your life, while you listen to and read His word for His guidance. In this way, "Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you..." (James 4:8).

Verse 38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, So that you may be revered.

'FULFILL YOUR PROMISE' Psalm 119:38 As a future king, the psalmist may have been making reference to a specific promise he received from God, perhaps the one to make him the king that God had anointed him to become, the fulfillment of which would demonstrate to others God's loyal love, wisdom, power, and adherence to what is right. Thus, the writer of Psalm 119 is unquestionably David, after his anointing to become king, but before taking the throne while King Saul was opposing him. (1Chron 12:1-2,8,16-17). Jehovoe is a Keeper of Promises. God has made many promises regarding His faithful servants, to sustain them through trials, for instance. Psalm 55:22 says: "Throw your burden on Jehovoe, And he will sustain you. Never will he allow the upright one to fall." God's support of His people surely brings Him glory, especially when His servants trust fully in Him and hold on to their integrity. May all possible come to thus acknowledge ancient King Solomon's summation of life in these words: "The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Respectfully fear (or, Revere) the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. 14 For the true God will judge every deed, including every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad." (Eccle 12:13-14).

Verse 39 Remove the disgrace that I dread, For your judgements are good.

GOD SAVED JESUS'/JOSHUA'S REPUTATION. Psalm 119:39 No one enjoys receiving disgrace or shame from others, especially when we seek what is right by God. Even Jehoshua (Jesus/Joshua) 'despised shame,' although he was ridiculed and impaled as though a terrible criminal (Hebre 12:2). Yet God proved what He can do to save one's reputation, exalting him to have a name above every other name. (Phili 2:9). Thus, we should never give up, as long as we look to God with faith, or thankful trust, in His desire and power to act in our behalf. Even if our own heart condemns us, remember that "God is greater than our hearts and knows all things." (1John 3:18-20). May we seek God's right ways and standards, and appreciate His judgements, or fair and just evaluations. He can read hearts, hear our pleas, and see the love we show others. Yet, remember that no good deed gives us allowance to sin against God or our neighbor. Understanding that there are at least a few differences in the what God expects of those he made as angels and those of the earth, let all "hate what is bad" in the reverential fear of God, and pursue what is good, seeking His honor, trusting Him with our own reputation, as did faithful men of times past. Remaining faithful to God, we may look forward to a bright future. God has promised to remove the reproach from His servants, as at Isaiah 25:8: "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovoe will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovoe himself has spoken it."

Verse 40 See how I long for your orders. Preserve me alive in your right way.

DELIGHT IN GOD'S ORDERS. Psalm 119:40 Thus the psalmist once again highlights his fondness for God's word and guidance. According to Psalm 19:8 God's orders are righteous, and cause "the heart to rejoice." Thus we find genuine joy in obedience to God, and this obedience can be sustained, preserving us alive in God's right way, with integrity to Him. God's right ways and standards are a protection in many respects, and form the way of eternity. May we thus treasure the privilege of doing things God's way, learning so that it becomes "first nature" to us! Why "second nature?" GOD'S WAY is the way He created us to live in the FIRST place. Let's get back to that, and experience the happiness and rewards of doing so! (Hebre 11:6)

_____Ps119[9]

PSALM 119 STANZA 6A

Our theme for stanza 6 is this: LOYAL DEVOTION TO GOD REFINES OUR INTEGRITY AND STRENGTHENS OUR HOPE.

The first 4 verses read this way: "41 May I experience your loyal love, O Jehovoe, Your salvation in harmony with your promise; 42 Then I will reply to the one taunting me, For I put my trust in your word. 43 Do not utterly remove the word of truth from my mouth, For I have hoped in your judgement. 44 I will keep your lall constantly, Forever and ever."

Verse 41 May I experience your loyal love, O Jehovoe, Your salvation in harmony with your promise.

"BECAUSE HE HAS AFFECTION FOR ME." Psalm 119:41 The psalmist thus shows that God's love for us would certainly move Him to bring us salvation through His judgement, in harmony with many such promises in His word. Psalm 91, evidently written by Moses, says this in verses 14-16: "God said: “Because he has affection for me, I will rescue him. I will protect him because he knows my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in distress. I will rescue him and glorify him. 16 I will satisfy him with long life, And I will cause him to see my acts of salvation.” All this because of our affectionate love for Jehovoe, shown by our loyal obedience to Him (1John 5:3). Such an attachment to God personally, a close relationship with Him, moves Jehovoe to respond loyally in return. "Draw close to God and He will draw close to you..." says James 4:8. Accordingly, our hope of salvation is thereby strengthened.

Verse 42 Then I will reply to the one taunting me, For I put my trust in your word.

A REPLY TO ONE TAUNTING. Psalm 119:42 God appeals, at Proverbs 27:11, "Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, So that I can make a reply to him who taunts me." Of course, in God's case, there have been various ones taunting God over time, from the time of the serpent's and man's rebellion in the Garden of Eden, or Park of Pleasure, designed and created by Jehovoe God. Also, according to the book of Job (rhymes with robe), the angel Satan, whatever the cause of his rebellion, had taunted that he could turn Job away from his integrity to God, but in spite of all that was done to hurt Job, he was faithful, and was doubly rewarded by Jehovoe. (Job 42). Our loyal integrity to God makes His heart glad, giving Him a reply to those still taunting, even those taunting the people of God, and as He lovingly uses His power to protect and save them, they too perhaps can make a similar reply. May we continue to build thankful trust, or faith, in God's inspired word, and in God Himself, becoming reliant upon Him. (Prove 3:5-8).

Verse 43 Do not utterly remove the word of truth from my mouth, For I have hoped in your judgement.

HONESTY ESSENTIAL TO INTEGRITY. Psalm 119:43 Genuine integrity to God involves honesty, speaking and acting in accord with truth. As we put faith, or have thankful trust, in God's judgement, we are moved to trust the course of integrity. Integrity essentially means "wholeness or completeness without corruption." In Psalm 15, the essential elements of the course of integrity is outlined, and includes "speaking the truth in [one's] heart." Removing the "word of truth" would result in a mouth of deception and trickery, and a loss of genuine integrity. In another Psalm, 115, we sadly find that this could happen as one somehow commits idolatry, in placing anyone or anything above the first place that God should have in our hearts. We could then develop blindess to our eyes of divine understanding, ears no longer able to perceive truth, and mouths not able to speak it. May we trust Jehovoe God's power to support His honest servants, who nevertheless know there is a "time to be silent" as well as a "time to speak."

Verse 44 I will keep your law constantly, Forever and ever.

WRITING GOD'S LAW ON OUR HEART. Psalm 119:44 Acquiring such integrity brings genuine joy of heart, being close to God, along with other devoted ones, moving us to want to experience such happiness "forever and ever," by keeping God's law "constantly." By thus making God's law OUR law, writing God's law on our heart, we are always able to live in a way that pleases God! Jehovoe speaks at Jeremiah 31:33-34 regarding His law, saying of Israel: "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares Jehovoe. “I will put my law within them, and in their heart I will write it. And I will become their God, and they will become my people.”34 “And they will no longer teach each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know Jehovoe!’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them,” declares Jehovoe. “For I will forgive their error, and I will no longer remember their sin.” And at Galatians 6:16, Paul's inspired words refer to true Christianity, in saying: "As for all those who walk orderly by this rule of conduct, peace and mercy be upon them, yes, upon the Israel of God." May we find such delight as did the psalmist, and "get a firm hold on the real life," the everlasting life promised by our Creator, Jehovoe, "to those who continue loving Him." (1Timo 6:19; James 1:12).

_____Ps119[10]

PSALM 119 STANZA 6B

Recall our theme for stanza 6, verses 41-48: LOYAL DEVOTION TO GOD REFINES OUR INTEGRITY AND STRENGTHENS OUR HOPE.

Verse 41, for instance expressed desire to experience God's loyal love, and salvation by Him. He was happy that this meant, as in verse 44, keeping God's law "constantly, forever and ever." Now the psalmist expresses this contentment:

Verses 45-48 read this way: "And I will walk about in a place of safety, For I search for your orders. 46 I will speak about your reminders in front of kings, And I will not be ashamed. 47 I am fond of your commandments, Yes, I love them. 48 I will raise my hands to your commandments, which I love, And I will ponder over your instructions."

Verse 45 And I will walk about in a place of safety, For I search for your orders.

SEARCHING. Psalm 119:45 We may thus dwell in a figurative place of security, as we stay close to Jehovoe, like the psalmist David, searching for God's orders. He wanted to know everything God commanded him, so that he would not fail to be obedient. He continues "to search" for God's orders, as often revealed in His word. May we likewise be searching for God's guidance and instruction, especially the most serious, important, and urgent commands, seeking to understand the reasons for them, that we may comply with God's vital direction. May we delight in God's orders, which "cause the heart to rejoice," and His reminders, that we may not forget what's required by Him. Understandably, he next mentions these "reminders."

Verse 46 I will speak about your reminders in front of kings, And I will not be ashamed.

NOT ASHAMED OF GENUINE TRUTH. Psalm 119:46 It may take more study and reflection on the value of God's word to ourselves and others, but we too can come to happily share such divine knowledge with others, not being ashamed to do so. Remember, it may mean someone's eternal life to "speak up." Even if they do not appreciate our effort to do so then, it doesn't mean they won't remember it later on, as God's spirit may even remind them in some way. Or something may happen later to change their mind, and how they feel about it. By setting the right example for others now, we show them, perhaps at a good time, the right way for them to go, the way to eternal happiness! Often, it is seeing that God's lawl truly is reasonable, based on love--that it is often misunderstanding or hedging the law, for instance, that has contributed to misapplication or confusion and dissatisfaction. People need to know that we find true happiness within, and not without, God's word and lawl.!(Psalm 27:14; 146:5).

Verse 47 I am fond of your commandments, Yes, I love them.

GIVEN OUT OF GREAT LOVE. Psalm 119:47 What a lovely simple expression of appreciation for God's lawl! Jehovoe has given His commandments out of His great love for us, to do what is in our best interests, what leads to our greatest happiness! Isaiah 48:17-18 says, for instance, "This is what Jehovoe says, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovoe, am your God, The One teaching you to benefit yourself, The One guiding you in the way you should walk. 18 If only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river And your rightdoing (integrity) like the waves of the sea." By thus "paying attention" to God's commandments, we can, like the psalmist, come to love them and keep them, with integrity, and with strengthened hope of salvation by God!

Verse 48 I will raise my hands to your commandments, which I love, And I will ponder over your lawls and limits.

PONDER GOD'S GUIDANCE. Psalm 119:48 David likely is showing his willingness to do or act in accord with God's commandments, in raising his hands to God's commandments. May we reflect on God's lawl, seeking heartfelt obedience to God. He willingly chose to ponder God's regulations, or lawls and limits, so that he could keep them wholeheartedly. It may take development spiritually before one can grasp certain details of instruction, even from God. May we grow in especially the quality of understanding, seeing where things fit in to the big picture of God's overall purpose and the value of God's word in all of it's guidance in life. Examine your life and see where a particular principle, truth, or lawl of God has value. Then we may appreciate God's instructions more fully.

_____Ps119[11]

PSALM 119 STANZA 7A

The theme for all of stanza 7 is: GOD'S LAW AND WORD OF PROMISE ARE RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY.

Stanza 7, Verses 49-56:
Theme: GOD'S LAW AND WORD OF PROMISE ARE RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY.

Verses 49-50 say: "49 Remember your word to your servant, Through which you give me hope. 50 This is my comfort in my affliction, For your saying has preserved me alive." The word of promise the psalmist received from Jehovoe sustained him through difficult times. How may this be true of us? Today, there is much to harm humans physically and spiritually--which includes the quality of our relationships, personal thinking and emotional well-being. How may God's word of promise have comforted the psalmist, and how can God's saying preserve us alive? Also, verse 56 hints that the psalmist was helped to keep God's commandments by observing God's orders. Why is this important, and how do we do so?

Verses 49-52, covering the first half of stanza 7, state this: "Remember your word to your servant, Through which you give me hope. 50 This is my comfort in my affliction, For your saying has preserved me alive. 51 The presumptuous (crossing boundaries) utterly scorn me, But I do not deviate from your law. 52 I remember your judgements from of old, O Jehovoe, And I find comfort in them."

Verse 49: Remember your word to your servant, Through which you give me hope.

THE GOD OF HOPE. Psalm 119:49 This future king evidently received a word of promise from Jehovoe, which helped to sustain him through difficult times. Of course, God's word the Bible is filled with hope-inspiring promises from God. Hope is vital to all, and God is eager for people to look to Him with hope in His blessing and salvation by seeking faithfulness to Him. In fact, a primary reason God's word the Bible has been provided to humans is that "we might have hope." Romans 15:4 says: "For all the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction, so that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope." After Adam's sin, it took Jehovoe almost no time at all to provide hope to the human family of a restoration of God's purpose, with the prophecy recorded in Genesis 3:15. Thus Jehovoe is keenly aware of our need for this. May we likewise be quick to provide comfort to one lacking hope, if only they may turn to the God of hope, Jehovoe. Psalm 146:5 says "Happy is the one who has the God of Jacob as his helper, Whose hope is in Jehovoe his God."

Verse 50: This is my comfort in my affliction, For your saying has preserved me alive.

GOD'S TRUTH CAN PRESERVE LIFE. Psalm 119:50 Thus, God's reliable word of promise provides us with genuine comfort in difficult times, when we, like the psalmist, may suffer affliction in some form. Whatever "saying" he has reference to, it is nevertheless true that God's word and law protects us in many ways from harm as we heed it's instruction and guidance. Following God's word, for instance, preserved alive Noah and his family, and the human race, when Jehovoe brought the promised deluge upon a violent, evil society of humans whom God said had "ruined it way" on planet Earth (Genes 6:11-12). Today, there is much to harm humans physically and spiritually, which may include our mental and emotional well-being. God warns us against much harm with wise counsel and His "saying," or word of truth, which may at times even 'preserve us alive' by our following it.

Verse 51: The presumptuous (crossing boundaries) utterly scorn me, But I do not deviate from your law.

"WALK IN MODESTY." Psalm 119:51 Despite receiving reproach from those immodestly deviating from God's law, the psalmist refused to do so. Proverbs 11:2 says "When presumptuousness comes, dishonor will follow, But wisdom is with the modest ones." Summed up, modesty is humble and obedient, recognizing due limits and one's own limitations. It gives priority to spiritual matters, is able to be content with necessities, responsible with wealth, and is reluctant to boast. Modest ones humbly refuse to violate God's law or standard, or to seek authority that they have no right to. Micah 6:8, a favorite verse of many, outlines simply a course of life pleasing God, in saying this: " He has told you, O man, what is good. And what is Jehovoe requiring of you? Only to exercise justice, to cherish loyalty, And to walk in modesty with your God!" We can remain modest despite reproach from presumptuous ones, praying for strength or fortitude from God, and by our steadfast example, hoping at least some may turn from a disobedient course to find God's favor and blessing of eternal life.

Verse 52: I remember your judgements from of old, O Jehovoe, And I find comfort in them.

LOOK TO THE GOD OF JUSTICE. Psalm 119:52 The judgements of Jehovoe, as recorded in His word, are written as a warning against serious wrongdoing. As 1Corinthians 10:1-11 mentions a few instances, which included such sins as idolatry, sexual immorality, putting God to the test, and murmuring against Him, it states: "Now these things became examples for us, in order for us not to desire injurious things, as they desired them...Now these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for a warning to us upon whom the ends of the systems of things have come." Of course, Jehovoe also judged His faithful servants favorably, and protected many in various ways, saving them, such as Noah, Jonah, Jesus, and others. May we find comfort in the God of justice, looking to Him for protection more than to money or any other person or thing. Those with money should likewise still be dependent on God. Proverbs 18:10 says "The name of Jehovoe is a strong tower. Into it the righteous one runs and receives protection." Conversely, verse 11 states: "The wealth of the rich is his fortified city; It is like a protective wall in his imagination." This may refer to either material or spiritual wealth--we should not trust solely in our own knowledge--may we continually look to God and not depend on ourselves or any possession for our lasting happiness.

Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 5, verses 18-20. Soon another post update. Now newly posted, the I) Introduction to the Ten Commandments, as well as Updates to all 4 of the other Ten Commandment posts, near the Top of Blogpost 2. (y.725Rih, 810Sun 1:45; 2:31,40,44,54; 3:19; 11:19,44 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've wanted to remind how this week both calendars, old and new, line up between today through Saturday and Salvtuday. Most new daynames have similarity to 7-Day names, yet underscore a purpose for them by God. As regards a way to clarify which calendar is being referenced, there is preference to the y. designation, an early possibility, as the year is to the left of the decimal. Thus y25.725 indicates this day, 2025, the 7th month (Huli) and the 25th day (alternating Sunday, called Righzday, connected to making Rye or Croissant bread, which is naturally possible to make only on this day every two weeks, Rightdoing and the Sun of righteousness, like Sunday still the First day of the week, and Rizing as an early workweek makes possible the Four-Day weekend break to come afterward. So y25.725 is this day (8/10/25). In this first designation method, y25.725 the month is only one character, which is alphanumeric, with months 10, 11, and 12 being designated as capital A,B, and C. It can also be y25.7/25, which allows for the month to be two digits. Thus both y25.11/25 and y25.07/25 would be acceptable. It may be possible that difference could be recognized between 7(8/10/25) and 8(7/25/25), although in the second case the second number, day of the month, will need to be higher than 31. With the y25.725 designation, this could also be y.725 if the year is not necessary, or just 725 if it is something simple where the year doesn't matter, like the date on the lid of a newly opened carton of milk. Also, to keep track of both, sometimes I use y25.725 and add comma, f or p and 810 referring to the 7day calendar date. Also remember that a 3rd transition calendar would help all to relate closer 7-Day calendar dates to new 8-Day calendar dates, but this would call for referencing a 13th month, one week at a time between some months, but eventually also with more than 31 days, although this adjustment may not be needed THIS year for an accurate transition. Recall the SUM More Orderly Time (Possible Months 7-8 Entry) article below, that discusses this time as an entry point to the new calendar, along with half or more of the world seeing God's gift. Again, this entire week lines up between both calendars, so appointments for next week could be discussed or adjusted, either on the same new dayname, the new monday date for the old monday date, or something else depending on the purpose of the meeting, etc. These appointments could be confirmed, if this changeover should take place. In many places last year, both calendars began to be acknowledged among people even here in the U.S., and some decisions were being based on the new calendar more than the old. There is one issue that hasn't been mentioned, and that's pay times as regards a changeover. Weekly pays could take place on a similar day of the week, although alternating between Starzday (first Friday) and Salvtuday (second Saturday), the second day of the normal four-day break, are recommended, the term Salary being originally based on use of Salt, associated with that day. Other reasons have been presented, and proper planning for this can overcome most if not all concern. The other issue is with Monthly payments. Of course many 7th month payments or early 8th month payments have already been made, but a two-week or 16-day difference between the calendars currently, or 18 days in about a week, could call for another payment with the beginning of a new 8th month. The half-month of time that would have passed by then could make possible a half-month's pay amount, then getting on track to a similar pay schedule based on the 8 day calendar. Alternatively, paydates could change on the new calendar from end or start of months to something mid-month, which would keep the money coming out about the same time as before through the changeover, without need for any additional payment. The above information has now been inserted into the SUM More Orderly Months (Possible Months 7-8 Entry) article below. Also, a (8B) Weekly Golden Apples, WGA-B, (B-507) is now posted, on blogpost 3, Election Integrity 2024-2025. Another update to Finding Truth, par. 15. Correction. Update to WGA-B list. (y.724Fwn, 809Sat 3:09 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I needed to update the article Finding Truth, having been one of my first articles years ago, and I didn't realize there were some statements I used in logic regarding the Trinity teaching that for quite some time I would have not been using, but I had forgotten it was used in this article, and would have been corrected so as not to give a wrong impression, having to do with understanding the term "world" in the Scriptures, which I do address in the more recent article "Finding More Truth". I have updated Finding Truth, and hope that if you questioned anything along those lines in that article, that you look over that portion of it. I apologize that I let the podcast this week take time away from posting like I would otherwise do. Thus much will be retained, with the ongoing material continued into the new blogposts. If you wish, please use this time to review anything else you might benefit from, and there still is an additional article or two not on these pages that I plan to post soon to the new. (d.627Trs, 710Thu 6:58-7:01,19,41; 8:24 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I apologize for the delay, I expect to get back to my punctuality that I was known for, throughout my 2020 election year, for example, and afterward, with God's continued blessing! NOTE : As you may realize, I've continued this blogset based on the 400-day calendar (the true one, astronomically, meteorologically, scientifically, etc.), and hopefully which we will acknowledge here, as many localities and regions here in the United States were doing for much time last year! There was some confusion about the reality of this or the connections to my Come to Consensus article, referring to it as the 8-Day Calendar, having God's blessing on new sets of month- and daynames that carry real meaning into our lives, benefitting us more, and underscoring God's interest and love for us. I'm looking to post a few more articles, some Persistent Articles, which I think will replace the Persistent/Introductory Posts designation. Thus PA's will usually be articles that may benefit more people, or benefit people more, in some way, with God's blessing. The full 8-Day Calendar article, as a CTC article, is one I actually thought was posted already this blog cycle, but I wish to post soon today, although it is available on the last blog 3C/8C. I want to review before posting on 4C/8C, blogpost 3 (the C in 4C/8C). I may change referring to blogpost 3 to blogpost C. I may also update the wording of the Educational Note on blogpost 3/C. Update, but article still coming. Article is there, under PA's (Persistent Articles) on blogpost 3/C, as (8-2). There are still other articles I wish to include in the next few days...I've updated that article, month 1, and more updates are possible. (d.626Mnd, 709Wed 8:45-46 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've completed the text of the podcast Winit500 theme of last November, w0840-44 U.S. Election for President, 2024. It is in the list under (1B) the Win-it Minute Series work., podcast available on Spotify, elsewhere. Also, don't forget about the Significantly Revised article, What It Means To Be Righteous or Upright, on the Top Menu above. Let's continue to look to God and Christ above, as we navigate current circumstances--there is much we can accomplish together when we look above and stand for what's true and right, and what the Founders of our Nation stood for, the same, and looking for God's blessing for things to be as they should. Let's not assume that just because someone may want us to believe a lie, that we just need to go along with it--that's not who we are! Americans across our nation voted, elected me President of the United States, for good reason, and I'm the one blessed by God to be so, doing what I can despite our circumstances--recall that Donald Trump acknowledged at one point that he was not the President of the United States, but seems to have managed to sweep that under the carpet somehow. Nevertheless we want the best for all, recognizing God's love for all, but we also want our Nation truly as it Should Be, and as GOD will blessing it to Become! ALSO POSTED (7) Proverbs B Commentary, chapter 11 conclusion, verses 27-31! (d.620Wdn, f703Thu 8:03 am; 9:38,55,58; 10:50 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Posted (1B) Winit500, text of Episode 2, w0841 U.S. Election for President, 2024. W5a w0840- under Win-it Minute Series below. NOW also the REVISED ARTICLE, What It Means To Be Righteous or Upright. Titles. Some correction. (d.619Too, f702Wed 9:59 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Posted (3) Proverbs A, chapter 4, verses 24-27, concluding chapter 4. (d.618Moo, f701Tue 7:08-09,15,31,44,48,58; 8:03 am; 7:17,59 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Got the Podcast Episode 1 Text posted from yesterday, on the W5a w0840-44 U.S. Election for President 2024, listed under the (1B) Win-it Minute Series, explaining how Donald was attempting to defraud the public by claiming victory in the Presidential election, covering the TRUE results of the election by America. Later, however, as addressed in a later podcast, and after still staging an inauguration, he was willing at one point to be honest with the American people and admit that he was "not the President of the United States", as many who voted for me (and Washington, etc.) hopefully are coming to realize. I've also posted the 2025 Claim to Presidency text in the main body of Winit5to9 Posts, with the more recent Harvard and Issue of Government posts to follow sometime. Formatting, text accuracy. Now also, posted (7) Proverbs B, PR-B(11.5) chapter 11, verses 22-26. Formatting. (d.617Son, f630Mon 5:33-34; 8:56,58; 9:53; 10:22,36,48 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've moved last year's podcast from after the 2024 November election to the top of my Find Life And See Podcast on Spotify, W5a w0840-44 U.S. Election for President 2024. I have a place for the text of this podcast below, which I intend to begin posting today. NOW please consider carefully (when you are able) the PIP article below, Names of God and Christ, Clarified, for a carefully composed revision! You may also see the Note from yesterday, just below, regarding God's Name. Updates. (d.616Fan, f629Sun 10:16,18,34 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! As I've occasionally referred to, there has been interference by some, trying to corrupt good work or rob me of much of my own work, whether claiming my own website articles or my podcast work, ideas/designs/patents, etc., and especially even my rightful win as President of the United States, after already being the true 46th President of the United States, fully expecting this time to finally make it to the White House, where I can be and do fully what the American people have looked forward and expect me to be and do. Another thing has come to my attention--my work on restoring God's true name. At one point I was clarifying God's name to be JEHOVAHZ, not Jehovalz. Someone with power attempted to take credit for this, and try to cause confusion about JEHOVALZ, which is now understood to be one of the three GODs that make up the Complete JEHOVAHZ. While knowing Him as a GOD of Vows/Valz, altogether He brings things about, especially His will, in many ways, not only by the keeping of Promises. I'll be updating the website accordingly, and the NAMES of God and Christ article, to again reflect this position. I've already updated the recently posted (4B) Psalm 119 Review 4 Stanzas 01-11 to reflect this change. Also now the most recent (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(4.5). Also (7) Proverbs B, PR-B(11.4) Correction.

Notes, Formatting NOTES: (25d.515 Slv, f526 Mon 1:56, 9:41; 10:23 am; 3:41; 6:29 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Updating, I've added posts on blogpost 2, finishing the Ten Commandments and adding a Persistent post of 4B, Psalm 119 Intro of Stanzas 1-4. Also, let me clarify that there are places on the 3 blogposts that are meant to be filled as the half quarter (month and a half) proceeds, and the 3A-C blogposts have not been up all that long. So the move to 4A-C up through month 6 will allow more posts as on the site previously, before the new format. Soon adding two Psalm Selects to the Persistent/Introductory Posts on this blogpage. Posted, both Psalms 1 and 15. Now, added posts to pages 2 and 3. This includes 4A Godz Lawl posts in PIP, Persistent/Introductory Posts, and another Godz Lawl post in segment 4A, on the Golden Rule, also in (5) Eternal Express, on Protecting Peace from Ephesians 4-5, and (6) Golden Bellz, on the Salvtuday dayname recommendation from Saltuday. Also, added the 7) article under the CTC Foundational list, actually the original 5th article, Realities of God's Government and Beneficial Standards, and then to (9) Godlove Home, I added the article Aim to Develop True Loyal Love. Misc. updates. 25d.514Prz,f525Sun 8:53 am; 1:15,29,56; 6:29 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Posted 1B-1 so far the Conclusion of the podcast Proper View of God and Life Rewarding, the episode 5 w0834 having become a theme for my campaign, entitled 'Restore Good - Move Forward'. Also, posted this year's entire podcast, the carryover as Winit5to9, w0850-0854, with the theme: 2025 Claim to Presidency. This is under segment (1B) as 1B-3. Also, yesterday's 13th of Month 5 was Thunderday, a day when you more often will hear thunder as from God, realizing He can lend forth His mighty voice to things taking place, as a God of true justice, reminding us of His power, truth, and love. Still there have been interferences, etc.--NOT all storms are from God. Today's 8-Day Calendar day is the second week's Friday, the first week of two being Starzday, for movie-going, etc, with the second being Prayerzday, which begins a four-day or five-day weekend, a day which could also be used for entering court pleas, etc. Prayers of course help all to maintain closeness to God and His Son, and provisions for life. Also, 1A posts, WGA-A, previous. The reference is 1A-2 Previous GA(1A-102-217) on Presidency, Economy, Tariffs, Govt Cuts, etc. This post is originally from the 2025 2/8 START page (blogpost 1), where it (in 2 posts) may still be found. Correction made to most of those individual posts for this page to match the original reference number format, for technical purposes; I will make that change if appropriate on the next blogpost 4A/8A, planning to carry it over. 25d.513Thd,f524Sat 5:31; 6:20-21,39-40; 7:05 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Posted 1A-3 Golden Apples Post, GA(008) On the Number Eight (8). Included as a Latest GA post. Also soon to come, a Psalm 19 rendition. Posted, as latest and Psalms Post 1, numbered 2.1. Updates Psalm 19, note. 25d.512Wnd,f523Fri 9:18-23; 10:15 am; 9:50-53,55,59; 10:27,33,37; 11;11:08-09,59 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've added another post to (1A) WGA-A, after the A-306 from last night, on the Penny news. This one, A-307, is regarding an important lesson from ancient Greece. Again, these are on this blogpost 1 below, under segment 1A (Weekly) Golden Apples. Also now another (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(3.6), chapter 3, verses 31-35, concluding chapter 3. NOTE : Now letting you know I'm planning to fill-in the missing pieces on the 3 blogposts, but possibly just on the new 4A-C/8A-C posts which normally begin from the middle of month 5 through month 6. Most of the work done on 3A-C/8A-C will be carried over into the 4's. Along with adding WGA-A/B posts, planning especially the next 2 days if possible. I could however finish the essentials on the 3A-C's in time for Memorial Day, then carry over most into the 4's to post a day or two later. The reason this may be better is that we, as the United States, should not be ignoring the 8-Day Calendar, which half the world is already on, as a step forward in life, toward a greater world of peace, with God's blessing. After all, it originated here, in the U.S. with God's blessing on me, so why should we consider being the last to begin using it, unless we're helping others to get on it before us, like people getting into lifeboats before the captain of a ship that's slowly sinking, but such an illustration is NOT to apply to us, or in this situation, except for our captains having such genuine concern for those under their care! God's spirit is still with us to straighten things out, and to have a leading role in bringing blessings from God to other countries, even as "one nation under God". Perhaps we may begin thinking in terms of the 8-Day, I could reference the days in an article/post to remind of the purpose of the day, which I believe God is blessing for it's particular purpose that day, whether it's to strengthen our bodies with the right kind of salt intake, or acknowledging that the day might be more windy like today really was here on this Windyday the 12th of the 5th month Agreehelp (Agr). But I realize it would help for me to get where I should, and the true election results regarding the U.S. President to be acknowledged, which was or is not simple due to the AI media control that Donald had over DC, VA, and MD for the last 4-5 years or more, with at least TV, radio, and internet in the region, beginning likely with smaller measures aimed to lessen opposition to his reputation or ideas. Not everyone knew that I was on the ballot in 48 states last November, with much backing across the nation. 25d.511Tro,f522Thu 6:04,07-08,21; 7:11 am; 11:18,53 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added an Introductory/Persistent Post, Aim to Develop True Loyal Love. More work, including WGA-A/B posts today...Initially prayers that food can continue to get into Palestine, where some 11,000 lives of children and adults are currently being threatened daily, and that love and diplomacy, or mindful and peaceable discussion, be the way, rather than more war or violence. Also, other matters of course need attention. Let love and truth prevail again, as it may rest in our hearts and minds. Added to WGA-A the post (A-306), Last Run of the Penny (As We Know It)? Update. 25d.510Mnd,p521Wed 9:08-09 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 3, verses 27-30. 25d.509Rih,p520Tue 6:41,50 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added some GA posts. More coming on all 3 blogposts, and WGA! If you noticed, the post on Former U.S. Initiatives on Coal is on the blogpost 3, (8B) WGA-B on post 2C/8C, numbered (1-217). 25d.508,p519Mon 9:06-08 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Posted work from last evening (8B) WGA-B, B-304 post theme: Drive for Clean Energy Can Continue! on blogpost #3. Hoping to be writing again from the real START page, blogpost #1, soon! I'd like to also say, Let's thank God for blessing what we all can do regarding His will, for genuine peace--let's stand for what's true, with God's guidance and love! Some have been seeking their own glory rather than God's, and hurting others in the process, against God's will; May they humble themselves and be honest. We need divine wisdom and God's blessing on all we do! If time, planning to post (4B) Psalm 119 Part 2 of Review within the hour, Stanzas 7-8. Posted! Format update. (25d.504 Wdn, f515 Thu 9:41,50; 10:15-16,23-24,46 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've posted Part 1 of the (4) Psalm 119 Stanzas 5-8 Review (Stanzas 5-6), with two good stanza/themes. More of something to come...Posted as LATEST Psalm 119, and format updates. Also now, added (7) PR-B(11.1), Proverbs B, chapter 11 verses 1-5 on blogpost 3. Format change. (25d.502 Moo, f513 Tue 9:38,40-41 am; 9:55,58; 10:03-05,10-11; 11:01 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well, again from the Blogpost #2, not the normal messaging/notes post of the START page, blogpost 1. So much to be considering, knowing where I should be and still aiming to be, but also wanting to, within limits, address things this way, to share, offer insight, etc. Plan to make some progress on these posts today, while giving attention to the important things of our nation, etc. Several things came up, but I did review Commandment #4 of the Ten, which I've posted by itself, without numbers 5-7 yet. Looking for getting up the START page and/or more Golden Apples pieces and WGA posts on what's taking place, whether WGA-B or WGA-A (blogpost 1). Formatting update. Update, further. (25d.501 Son, f512 Mon 11:53 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Updated the Commandments 1-3 of the Ten, specifically #1. (25d.434Lun,f511Sun 10:27,38 am; 4:53; 5:41 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Again this is blogpost 2, not the normal start page, but more notesy for now until it's up! I've updated the Ps119, S08 post(s). Also, this ending of the 4th month of the 8-Day Calendar is the Hymneth long weekend, the days to include the 34th actually get switched up, so that the 30th is (Prz) Prayerzday, 31st (Hym) Hymneth, 32nd (Slt) Saltuday, 33rd (Fan) Fanday, and 34th (Lun) Lunaday. Again, the normal progression in a 33-day month is 30th Prz, 31st Slt, 32nd Fan, 33rd Lun. Now the first 3 of the Ten Commandments has been posted, looking to review before posting remainder. Update. (25d.433Fan,f510Sat 8:01; 9:01,44-45 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well again, on this page! Format basically complete for this Blogpost 2, with the Psalm 119 Stanza 8 A and B parts posted as latest segment 4B post and in the 4B list! The Memorial that many anointed ones haven't yet commemorated this year could take place this Monday evening/night (7-Day Cal.) one month following the normal one, after the example of Hezekiah's delayed Passover. Unleavened bread and red wine are symbolic of pure, genuine instruction and the ransom provision, with faith and associated joy of heart that comes with the aim of wisely keeping divine standards. Jehoshua/Jesus said 'until I drink it new with you..." Meetings that discuss the significance of this occasion and provide for both of these provisions figuratively are one way that the Passover statute in God's law that for Christians became the Memorial commemoration ('Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed') can continue to be appreciated and recognized.

Recall addressing you more on this page has been temporary, until completing the new format for all 3 Blogposts, wanting them to display in order, needing to start with the third and work back for this to happen (normally I write most of these notes on Blogpost 1, the START page/post). I've finished with the formatting for this Blogpost 3, and am moving on to the other two! I plan sometime today to have Blogpost 2 started with a Psalm 119 posting from stanza 8, and with it being Saturday on the 7-Day calendar, would recommend the song Back In Time, from the movie Back to the Future, as regards, while being royal, in this case confusion over my election win(s) for President, but getting me where the President should be, especially the true one God is blessing to be so, that I may truly accomplish what the American people voted for me to serve as President and do, looking forward to what God prepared me over much time to be able to do! I've become aware of an adjustment, and am making it, to make two lists on the segment 8, a CTC list and a WGA-B list, rather than mixing them. Complete. (25d.432Fan,f509Fri 8:45,53; 11:46 am; 10:39-40 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! The post of WGA-B, (B-303) now soon to come! Topic is chosen, etc. I apologize again for the delays or the being delayed in various ways, although I aim once again to be more consistent as I had in the past with making posts on thinking and activity. Part of the reason for this has been my continued aims to be where the true U.S. President, blessed by God, should be, as I know many share this important standard that our nation has upheld in most elections throughout it's history! Added the post (B-303), Regarding Department Cuts, Some Excessive...Also posted to Seg.8 LIST (25d.430 Prz,f507 Wed 7:13,15,19 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added to the CTC Foundational articles with the inserted one mentioned previously, helping see the place of government in relation to God and His Kingdom. Also, I've posted one of the Persistent Posts, a CTC on Proper View of Law(l). (25/421Hvn,428Mon 3:27,53; 7:05 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I know this is blogpost 3, but I'm in the process of preparing to post all 3, and I wanted this third one posted first, so that it appears third in the list after the other two are up. I went ahead and included a few posts on this page, including another (7) Proverbs B (ch 11-20), from chapter 10, verses 28-32, the conclusion of that chapter. Also, the CTC Foundational articles I've been intending to post for a while now, but which were on a previous post from last year, I'm also posting. The CTC Corner (Come to Consensus Corner) Startup post is included, as well as now four of the first 5 articles/policies. There is another newer article I've planned to include among this grouping, believing it's more helpful now to underscore some important things relating God's interest and much-needed blessing on good government, to maintain civilized society, often taken for granted. Up to 4 CTC articles!

(25/416Fan,423Wed, 12:10 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Had a technical issue I believe is now resolved, which slowed me some on the blog while at the same time I was focused on accomplishing other things and still am--I do apologize for the blog delay. I'm working on the new full set of blogposts 1-3, segments 1-9 as previous. All three blogposts are to have a similar format to this one, despite the varying subject matter. I did update the first two articles under Christianity, and am about to add something else to the second article, The Basics. (25/410Min,417Thu, 10:10 am; 5:30 pm EDT) Hello, wishing you well again! Added to the 10 Points with explanation of the change from LGBTQ+ to simply LGTQ, still to be addressing this important issue. It may actually be that simply 3 letters will suffice for the abbreviation, as in GTQ, as Gay had come to represent both male and female gender conditions. This could also possibly be TGQ. (25/408Fwn,p415Tue, 8:20 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added new Proverbs A segment of chapter 3, PR-A(3.4), verses 19-26. I apologize that getting the entire blog up as usual, but with the updated format, is taking time. Still looking to God, asking for prayers, for things to be right, to take place as they should, for everyone's benefit! (25/405Hvn,p412Sat, 7:18-19 pm EDT) Hello! Memorial night, like true Passover, but of Christ's death, the literal and the figurative. You might reflect on the meaning, and read a chapter, perhaps Luke 22, or more, considering lessons. Love of God and His wonderful power and purpose toward mankind, a beautiful and peace-loving world, is made possible! Have faith in the Son, the ransom for forgiveness of sins, and aim for the target of righteousness in your decisions, to honor God and reflect divine wisdom in how you do things, contributing to His will! {Recall that truly anointed ones are to be in attendance to partake, and all were to commemorate on Passover night, honoring God and Christ. Paul also said "As often as" you do this, which can indicate allowance for another month's observance, at least occasionally. It could well be that as anointed ones all reached their new heavenly position, in the secondary application, that the commemoration could consistently involve and recognize a figurative or emblematic eating of spiritual bread, or life-sustaining instruction, as well as drinking of spiritual wine, recognizing Christ's sacrifice and also the rejoicing that wine scripturally signifies, true happiness being made possible with proper understanding and application of God's word and Christianity.} (25/404Wdn,p411Fri, 11:37-38,41 am; 3:27,35 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well again.
