PSALM 119 STANZA 21A
STANZA 21 THEME: NOTHING CAN STUMBLE THOSE LOVING GOD'S LAW, KEEPING HIS ORDERS AND REMINDERS--THEY OWN ABUNDANT PEACE.
This group of 8 verses build appreciation for God's law, with reasons to keep it, and some blessings for doing so.
Stanza 21A:
161 Princes persecute me for no cause, But my heart stands in awe of your words.
162 I rejoice over your saying Like someone who finds great spoil.
163 I hate falsehood—I detest it—I love your law.
164 Seven times a day I praise you Because of your righteous judgements.
161 Princes persecute me for no cause, But my heart stands in awe of your words.
GOD'S AWESOME WORDS. The truths that God reveals in His Word really are awe-inspiring! The wise guidance He gives truly is for our lasting benefit, as time has proven to many men and women of faith. There is even much history written in advance, that God Himself foreknew or could cause to be fulfilled in exact detail. The experience of persecution is to be expected by those loving God, until His Kingdom steps in to eventually eliminate the reproach of people of God. Paul wrote to Timothy, at 2Timothy 3:12: “12 In fact, all those desiring to live with godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus will also be persecuted.” Jesus said: “10 “Happy are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, since the Kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.” And regarding promises from God Himself, Isaiah 25:8 says: “8 He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovoe will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovoe himself has spoken it.” May we likewise be in awe of God’s words of promise, wisdom, and comfort, looking forward to the promised blessings of His new world of righteousness and peace.
162 I rejoice over your saying Like someone who finds great spoil.
REJOICE IN TREASURED SAYINGS. God’s word is really a treasure trove of fascinating truths and nuggets of wisdom. As we investigate, searching for such treasures, we may rejoice at what we find and can utilize in our lives! Notice, for instance, the sage advice of Proverbs 14:15, where we read: “15 The naive person believes every word, But the prudent one ponders each step.” Do we not find caution is needed each day, to be careful with what we hear, so as not to be misled? The foresighted prudent one gives thoughtful attention before investing belief in something that may not be entirely true. We are constantly being bombarded with messages telling us something we may need or should believe. Often it really is true, or the messages are presented in a truthful, considerate manner. Other times, not so much. When sending forth his disciples to preach, Jesus encouraged them to be “cautious as serpents, and yet innocent as doves.” (MATth 10:16). Of course, he was not telling them to be like an opposer of God, as the “original serpent.” Rather, the virtue of cautiousness, being careful before taking a step we would later regret, was the focus. This would be balanced by courage and faith, or deep trust in God, being willing to boldly stand up for divine truth and what is right, proving “innocent as doves.” May we rejoice at the truths we may continue to explore and discover in God’s treasured Word, the Holy Bible.
163 I hate falsehood—I detest it—I love your law.
"HATE WHAT IS BAD" Clearly, the focus of this verse is not the person who may have spoken falsely, but on the falsehood itself—the act of lying or “stretching the truth,” as the saying goes. How much better to seek to maintain God’s view of people, aiming to hate the wrong itself, and still have love for imperfect humanity, many of whom wish to do right, and have a struggle against bad influences and imperfect tendencies. Psalm 97:10 says: “10 O you who love Jehovoe, hate what is bad. He is guarding the lives of his loyal ones; He rescues them from the hand of the wicked.” As we cultivate a high regard for God, “revering” Him, we come to hate what He hates, seeking to please Him fully. Proverbs 8:13 says: “13 The awe of Jehovoe means the hating of bad. I hate self-exaltation and egopride and the evil way and perverse speech.” May we learn what is bad in God’s eyes, that we may come to hate it as He does, gaining understanding people, of the big picture and it’s pieces, to see why God warns us against some badness, confident that He knows what is truly best for us, and warns us to protect us and others from some physical or spiritual harm. Also, we need discernment, to see the difference between true and false, good and bad, right and wrong, and so on. We may humbly appeal to Jehovoe for the ability to grasp these qualities, that our godly wisdom may grow, along with our relationship with God.
164 Seven times a day I praise you Because of your righteous judgements.
JEHOVOE NEVER UNJUST. Truly, Jehovoe is worthy of our praise. His judgements, or evaluations and decisions are in harmony with truth and what is right, fair, and just. Deep down, do we not desire the Judge of all the earth to be so worthy of His authority, by upholding such virtues? Abraham expected this of Jehovoe, as expressed at Genesis 18:25, “Will the Judge of all the earth not do what is right?” Indeed, as young Elihu well knew and expressed, at Job 34:10-12: “10 So listen to me, you men of understanding: It is unthinkable for the true God to act wickedly, For the Almighty to do wrong! 11 For he will reward a man according to what he does And bring upon him the consequences of his ways. 12 For a certainty, God does not act wickedly; The Almighty does not pervert justice.” Still, He is not responsible for the evil actions of humans who ignore God’s own counsel and advice. It is as stated at Deuteronomy 32:4-5: “4 The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness who is never unjust; Righteous and upright is he. 5 They are the ones who have acted corruptly. They are not his children, the defect is their own. They are a crooked and twisted generation!” May we seek to be genuine children of God, doing as a loving Father would have us do, promoting truth, peace, and true love among the human family, advancing God’s will and purpose for a happy future for all those willing to love Him and one another eternally!

PSALM 119 (5#13) COMMENTARY
PSALM 119 STANZA 21B
STANZA 21 THEME: NOTHING CAN STUMBLE THOSE LOVING GOD'S LAW, KEEPING HIS ORDERS AND REMINDERS--THEY OWN ABUNDANT PEACE.
This group of 8 verses build appreciation for God's law, with reasons to keep it, and some blessings for doing so.
Stanza 21B:
165 Abundant peace belongs to those who love your law; Nothing can make them stumble.
166 I hope for your acts of salvation, O Jehovoe, And I observe your commandments.
167 I keep your reminders, And I love them dearly.
168 I observe your orders and your reminders, For you are aware of all that I do.
165 Abundant peace belongs to those who love your law; Nothing can make them stumble.
THOSE OWNING ABUNDANT PEACE. Such lovers of God’s word and law find great delight in knowing and serving Jehovoe, doing His will. His word and law instruct us in dealing with things that threaten true peace and happiness. Thus, the more we come to know and keep God’s law, the more we’re able to maintain the peace that only God and Christ can give. Much of this peace comes from God’s mighty holy spirit, which we can ask God for, seeking His help to cope with trials. Philippians 4:6-7 says: “6 Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” Another translation calls God’s peace that which “can never be completely understood.” (NIRV). Thus we must look to God and His Son for true peace. When about to leave his disciples, Jesus, after referring to the holy spirit, says “27 I leave you peace; I give you my peace. I do not give it to you the way that the world gives it. Do not let your hearts be troubled nor let them shrink out of fear.“ (JOHn 14). Now Christ’s commands and instructions promote genuine adherence to God’s law that we delight to keep as true Christians. When wronged by others, we do not let it stop us from loving and obeying God. Rather, we “Turn away from what is bad and do what is good; [We] Seek peace and pursue it.“ (PSalm 34:14). May we appreciate the peace-loving counsel of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, for instance, found at Matthew 5-7, and other guidance God has provided to deal with practically any issue that may arise that threatens godly peace, looking forward to the time when all willing to learn true peace will be united to happily serve God forever! (MATth 5:9).
166 I hope for your acts of salvation, O Jehovoe, And I observe your commandments.
FAITH IN RANSOM LEADING TO LIFE. Thus salvation by God is tied to obedience. We must not fall to the lie that the ransom of Christ no longer requires that we obey God, as though all sin is automatically forgiven. Paul said at Romans 3:31: “31 Do we, then, abolish law by means of our faith? Never may that happen! On the contrary, we establish law.” And at Romans 6:15-16 we read: “15 What follows? Are we to commit a sin because we are not under law but under undeserved kindness? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness?” Thus, learning to observe God’s commandments leads us to God’s righteousness, keeping His way, gaining genuine integrity to God. As we learn to obey, and to do so with endurance through trials, we gain an even firmer hope of salvation, although still by God’s undeserved kindness, as no one can “earn” salvation. As we faithfully aim for obedience to God, the ransom of Christ covers our misses, allowing ones to be “declared righteous due to faith.” Romans 3:24 says “24 and it is as a free gift that they are being declared righteous by his undeserved kindness through the release by the ransom paid by Christ Jesus/Jehosha (the more correct name, with the proper meaning).”
167 I keep your reminders, And I love them dearly.
DEARLY LOVE THEM. Once again, the psalmist expresses appreciation for God’s loving reminders, which He has established to enable us to maintain loving obedience to Him throughout eternity. May we love the reminder which keep God’s law fresh in mind, that we may become and remain steadfast in obedience to God’s loving and peaceful guidance in life.
168 I observe your orders and your reminders, For you are aware of all that I do.
THOSE PLEASING GOD NOT ABANDONED. The psalmist underscores the importance of both God’s orders, or His most important and urgent commands, as well as His reminders, which assist us in recalling God’s law so as to keep it wholeheartedly and completely. With God’s awareness of what we do, we are moved to please Him in all things, with high regard for Him, desiring never to hurt or fail Him, in godly fear or awe. Jesus said, at John 8:29: “29 And the One who sent me is with me; he did not abandon me to myself, because I always do the things pleasing to him.” And Psalm 18:25 says: “25 With someone loyal you act in loyalty; With the blameless man you deal blamelessly.” May we treasure God’s loyal love expressed to us, as we remain loyal to Him, learning and keeping His orders and reminders, truly loving His law!
____Ps119[3]
PSALM 119 STANZA 22A
STANZA 22 THEME: JEHOVOE WORTHY OF PRAISE, GOD OF SALVATION FOR THOSE WILLING TO BE TAUGHT HIS LAW.
This group of 8 verses concludes the entire psalm in a stirring way, acknowledging God's desire to help and favor those fondly keeping His law. Some 10 requests are made of God, revealing reliance upon Him and appreciation for the personal attention He gives the psalmist, and all such loyal ones.
Stanza 22A:
169 May my cry for help reach you, O Jehovoe. According to your word, make me understand.
170 May my request for favor come before you. Save me, as you have promised.
171 May my lips overflow with praise, For you teach me your [instructions].
172 May my tongue sing about your saying, For all your commandments are righteous.
169 May my cry for help reach you, O Jehovoe. According to your word, make me understand.
SEEK UNDERSTANDING OF GOD'S WORD. The psalmist pleads that the “Hearer of Prayer,” Jehovoe, prove to be so in his case, when he ‘cries for help.’ (PSalm 65:2). Psalm 65:5 refers to Him, saying “You will answer us with awe-inspiring deeds of righteousness, O God of our salvation; You are the Confidence of all the ends of the earth And of those distant across the sea.” May the love, power, wisdom and justice of Jehovoe inspire confidence within us, having faith, or deep trust, in Him to keep His promises and fulfill His word. The psalmist also pleads for understanding from God, likely regarding living life acceptably before Him. He knows God’s word gives the instruction and guidance that all need to do so, and thus pleads for God to “make” him understand, according to His word. We may make a similar plea to God, when we truly have confidence in Jehovoe’s trustworthiness with our life, desiring to please Him fully. We therefore need to give attention to God’s inspired word, the Bible, aiming to read it regularly, even daily. Psalm 1:1-3 describes benefits of doing so: “1 Happy is the man who does not walk according to the advice of the wayward And does not stand on the path of sinners And does not sit in the seat of scoffers. 2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovoe, And he reads His law in an undertone day and night. 3 He will be like a tree planted by streams of water, A tree that produces fruit in its season, The foliage of which does not wither. And everything he does will succeed.”
170 May my request for favor come before you. Save me, as you have promised.
SEEK GOD'S FAVOR OFTEN IN PRAYER. Once again the psalmist references the privilege of prayer, communication with the Greater Personage in the Universe! He wants to be favored by God, as he seeks to keep God’s law and hold to His divine standards in life. He seeks to be saved, from his persecutors and adversaries, just as God had evidently promised him personally. God’s word itself makes similar promises to those determined to obey Him faithfully. For instance, regarding the endurance of trials we may undergo, 1Corinthians 10:13 says: “13 No temptation has come upon you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it.” Also, regarding God’s promises of eventual salvation, Psalm 37:9,11,29 say regarding such faithful ones: “9...those hoping in Jehovoe will possess the earth...11...the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace...29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.” Jehovoe God is rightly determined to bring about a wonderful promised Paradise on this earth, in which mankind may dwell, all willing to learn God’s loving and peaceful ways, to love Him and others loyally, in harmony with God’s divine wisdom and standards.
171 May my lips overflow with praise, For you teach me your [instructions].
SEEK GOD'S HONOR, FROM AN APPRECIATIVE HEART. Yes, Jehovoe is worthy to receive our praise, or expressions of high regard and appreciation for Him, His divine standards, and His acts and provisions for our lasting welfare. The psalmist specifically mentions God’s teaching him His instructions, to live in harmony with divine wisdom. What a blessing to truly have an instruction manual for life, in God’s inspired Word, the Holy Bible. The divine record puts it this way, at 2Timothy 3:16-17, NIRV: “God has breathed life into all of Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. By using Scripture, a man of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing.” Still, we must not take God’s word for granted. It is a gift from a loving God and Father, who wants to be close to each one of us personally. It is among the gifts referred to at James 1:17, where we read: “17 Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, coming down from the Father of the celestial lights, who does not vary or change like the shifting shadows.” James continues, at 4:7-8a, “7 Therefore, subject yourselves to God; but oppose the Devil, and he will flee from you. Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you.” It is God’s honor we should seek, far above our own. At John 7:18, Jesus says: “18 Whoever speaks of his own originality is seeking his own glory; but whoever seeks the glory of the one who sent him, this one is true and there is no unrighteousness in him.” May we come to be among those seeking God’s honor in all we do, focusing on God, apart from any self-centeredness. (1COri 10:31).
172 May my tongue sing about your saying, For all your commandments are righteous.
JEHOVOE'S HOLY MOUNTAIN. The psalmist continues praising God’s word, or His saying, acknowledging the rightness of God’s commandments. He expresses desire to sing about God’s saying. God’s word itself says it is to endure eternally, as expressed at Isaiah 40:8: “8 The green grass dries up, The blossom withers, But the word of our God endures forever.” How happy we can be that the Creator of this universe and mankind, the “Judge of all the earth,” has given us reasonable laws and commands in harmony with His way of true love, peace, freedom, and happiness. Just as birdsong is a glory to the mighty works of God, so these works of God are deserving of our admiration and praise. Hills have often been associated with places of worship. Isaiah 2:3 foretells a restoration of true worship in these words: “3 And many peoples will go and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovoe, To the house of the God of Jacob. He will instruct us about his ways, And we will walk in his paths.” For law will go out of Zion, And the word of Jehovoe out of Jerusalem.” Rather than the ancient city, God’s word foretold a “New Jerusalem” composed of Christians anointed to rule with Christ in God’s Kingdom, situated upon a figurative “Mount Zion,” representing a holy “mountain” of Jehovoe and the governance of true worship of modern times (REVel 21:1-4; 1PEter 2:6; REVel 14:1). May we ever appreciate the revealed will of Jehovoe for true Christians, as He reminds us of His righteous orders, commands, and instructions for all having faith, or deep trust, in Him and His Son, leading to a happy, eternal life for those forgiven, humbly seeking divine obedience—the way of eternity.
____Ps119[4]
PSALM 119 STANZA 22B
STANZA 22 THEME: JEHOVOE WORTHY OF PRAISE, GOD OF SALVATION FOR THOSE WILLING TO BE TAUGHT HIS LAW.
This group of 8 verses concludes the entire psalm in a stirring way, acknowledging God's desire to help and favor those fondly keeping His law. Some 10 requests are made of God, revealing reliance upon Him and appreciation for the personal attention He gives the psalmist, and all such loyal ones.
Stanza 22B:
173 May your hand be ready to help me, Because I choose to obey your orders.
174 I long for your salvation, O Jehovoe, And I am fond of your law.
175 Let me live so that I may praise you; May your judgements be my help.
176 I have strayed like a lost sheep. Search for your servant, For I have not forgotten your commandments.
173 May your hand be ready to help me, Because I choose to obey your orders.
"OBEY GOD AS RULER" Titus 3:1 exhorts Christians to be “ready for every good work.” Thus, God Himself is likewise able to help His loyal servants who need His assistance. May we, like the psalmist, choose to obey God’s orders, thus aiming for true loyalty to Jehovoe. His orders are vital and/or urgent commands for true Christians to keep. We should consider them essential, even when threatened to abandon them. Under such circumstances, should we not respond as the early Christians, when threatened to stop speaking about Jesus: “29 In answer Peter and the other apostles said: “We must obey God as ruler rather than men. 30 The God of our forefathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him on a stake. 31 God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are witnesses of these matters, and so is the holy spirit, which God has given to those obeying him as ruler.” (Acts 5). Jehovoe’s hand was “ready to help” them, so can we not count on the same today?
174 I long for your salvation, O Jehovoe, And I am fond of your law.
SEEK GOD'S FAVOR. God Himself ‘longs’ to resurrect His faithful servants of times past, such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Job. He revealed this at Job 14:15, where Job says to God: “15 You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.” Likewise, we may long to be saved from difficult trials or circumstances in this system of things, aware of God’s promised blessings of His new world of righteousness and peace. Still, we want as many as possible to be saved, as God “does not desire anyone to be destroyed, but desires all to attain to repentance.” (2Peter 3:9). So while God longs to bring the blessings of Paradise, He loves all mankind even more, hoping for billions to seek His favor before judgement becomes necessary. We can likewise see things God’s way. May we also maintain fondness for God’s law, as keeping it is vital for the everlasting salvation of man.
175 Let me live so that I may praise you; May your judgements be my help.
THE VERY PURPOSE OF LIFE. Might the psalmist here have stumbled upon the very purpose of life—to praise the Creator, the true and living God, the God who “is love”—Jehovoe? Who is more worthy of such honor, glory, or praise? While it is not wrong to desire a good name, or reputation, for ourselves, should not more honor and praise go to the One ultimately responsible for “every good gift and perfect present?” (JAMes 1:17). By unselfishly seeking the glory of God in all we do, we place our trust in Him to safeguard our own name. Who better to look after our own reputation, than the “King of Eternity,” Jehovoe God? May we not forget His wonderful works, and His righteous judgments. His evaluations and decisions truly may “help” us, as He makes them in harmony with what is truly right, just, and fair. They provide keen insight into God’s standards and ways, that we may know how to live and act accordingly. His judgements against wrongdoers of the past, for instance, stand “for a warning to us upon whom the ends of the systems of things have come.” (1COri 10:11). May we come to hate what God hates, that we may judge rightly ourselves, acting in harmony with God’s will.
176 I have strayed like a lost sheep. Search for your servant, For I have not forgotten your commandments.
THE GREAT SHEPHERD. Some in our time have indeed strayed from their relationship with God, perhaps lacking in aspects of divine wisdom, or lacking the faith needed to overcome weaknesses of the flesh. Much of the world is still “without God,” and therefore tempts us to stray from true happiness, found in closeness to God—with godly obedience and spiritual contentment. Yet many such ones remember times of great joy found in loving and serving God, putting His will first in life. They “have not forgotten [God’s] commandments.” May such ones be helped to return to Jehovoe, motivated to once again give Jehovoe their obedience, this time gaining greater wisdom to progress to a more complete loyal love for God and fellow worshippers, finding the true “joy of Jehovoe” that they may recall from times past, or even never quite fully experienced. Jehovoe stands ready, as the Greatest Shepherd, to assist such ones to recover in whatever way possible, and this Son of God, the Fine Shepherd, likewise (JOHn 10:11,14). May all become faithful ones, ever determined to remain so, setting a good example for all as loyal servants of Jehovoe, clinging to God’s orders and reminders through Christ, happily finding the best way of life, the way of true peace, freedom, happiness, and love—the way of eternity!
____Ps119[5]
PSALM 119 REVIEW 6 STANZAS 20-22
STANZA 20 THEME: GOD CAN RESCUE RIGHTEOUS, DISTANT FROM TREACHEROUS, BUT GREAT IN MERCY.
This group of 8 verses contrasts the righteous from the treacherous, those not deviating from God's reminders from those who do not keep God's saying. Yet, God's mercy is great. May we come to love God's orders.
Stanza 20:
153 Look on my affliction and rescue me, For I have not forgotten your law.
*154 Defend me and rescue me; Preserve me alive in harmony with your promise.
*155 Salvation is far away from the wayward, For they have not searched for your [instructions].
*156 Your mercy is great, O Jehovoe. Preserve me alive in harmony with your justice.
157 My persecutors and my adversaries are many; But I have not deviated from your reminders.
158 I look on the treacherous with disfavor, Because they do not keep your saying.
159 See how I love your orders! O Jehovoe, preserve me alive because of your loyal love.
160 The very essence of your word is truth, And all your righteous judgments endure forever.
154 Defend me and rescue me; Preserve me alive in harmony with your promise.
JEHOSHA SAVED FROM REPROACH. Besides seeking to be rescued from wrongdoers, the psalmist also requests that Jehovoe defend, or protect him from harm—either physical or spiritual harm or abuse. As mentioned in the previous comment, some wrongdoers are “not afraid to speak abusively of glorious ones.” They may slander without hesitation, either not caring or completely aware of the hurtful effects of such speech. Of course, many of those fearing God may see through such lies, distorted truths, or unseemly truths shared to bring one into disrepute. The psalmist’s plea to be “preserved alive” includes, then, not mere physical life, but being alive spiritually, saved with a good reputation, at least among many God-fearing ones. Those who have been so harmed should take heart! Why did God allow His Son Jehosha to suffer as a terrible criminal? God kindly restored his name and gave him “the name that is above every other name.” Thus, in the end, God can save or restore the reputation of those putting faith, or complete trust, in Him!
155 Salvation is far away from the wayward, For they have not searched for your [instructions].
GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR SALVATION. Thus, to receive salvation from God, we need to be receiving God’s instructions and earnestly seeking to live by them. We should want to know how we should live in harmony with God’s will, searching for His instructions in pure living before Him. His word provides the guidance we need, and we should aim to be thoroughly familiar with it, over time. The wicked, or practicers of evil, are not interested in such a search, wanting to please only themselves—thus salvation remains “far away” from them, unless they whole-heartedly repent, desiring to turn around from wrong conduct, and find true happiness supporting God’s right and loving ways.
156 Your mercy is great, O Jehovoe. Preserve me alive in harmony with your justice.
JEHOVOE'S PATIENCE AND MERCY GREAT. Yes, God’s mercy is great, as Isaiah 55:6-7 makes appeal to all practicers of evil: “6 Search for Jehovoe while he may be found. Call to him while he is near. 7 Let the wayward man leave his way And the evil man his thoughts; Let him return to Jehovoe, who will have mercy on him, To our God, for he will forgive in a large way.” And Psalm 86:5 says of God: “ 5 For you, O Jehovoe, are good and ready to forgive; You abound in loyal love for all those who call on you.” May God’s word the Bible not be considered too much or hard to understand for those desiring to do right before Him. Why not consider the Ten Commandments of Exodus 20, and the first 10 chapters of Proverbs, written like a letter from a loving father to his son, with encouraging counsel? (written, in part, "To give a young man knowledge and thinking ability."--1:4) Matthew 5-7 adds just 3 chapters of essential Christian guidance from the Son of God. Genesis then begins the history of man, and reveals much about God's loving and just personality and ways. May all who will, come to appreciate God’s word as a precious gift from God for seeking to do right before Him, to please Him and learn true love for mankind in harmony with God’s loving purpose of a Paradise home planet Earth and a truly peaceful Universe within which to dwell.
STANZA 21 , Verses 161-168 THEME:

STANZA 22 , Verses 169-176 THEME:
JEHOVOE WORTHY OF PRAISE, GOD OF SALVATION FOR THOSE WILLING TO BE TAUGHT HIS LAW.
This group of 8 verses concludes the entire psalm in a stirring way, acknowledging God's desire to help and favor those fondly keeping His law. Some 10 requests are made of God, revealing reliance upon Him and appreciation for the personal attention He gives the psalmist, and all such loyal ones.
Stanza 22:
169 May my cry for help reach you, O Jehovoe. According to your word, make me understand.
170 May my request for favor come before you. Save me, as you have promised.
*171 May my lips overflow with praise, For you teach me your [instructions].
*172 May my tongue sing about your saying, For all your commandments are righteous.
*173 May your hand be ready to help me, Because I choose to obey your orders.
174 I long for your salvation, O Jehovoe, And I am fond of your law.
*175 Let me live so that I may praise you; May your judgements be my help.
176 I have strayed like a lost sheep. Search for your servant, For I have not forgotten your commandments.
173 May your hand be ready to help me, Because I choose to obey your orders.
"OBEY GOD AS RULER" Titus 3:1 exhorts Christians to be “ready for every good work.” Thus, God Himself is likewise able to help His devoted loyal servants who need His assistance. May we, like the psalmist, choose to obey God’s orders, thus aiming for true loyalty to Jehovah. Jehovah’s hand was “ready to help” them, so can we not count on the same today? Psalm 46:1 says this: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress."
____Ps119[6]
PSALM 119 REVIEW 8 STANZAS 12-22
STANZA 12 Theme: GOD'S WORD AND LAW PRESERVE SPIRITUAL AND ETERNAL LIFE.
These verses emphasize God’s faithfulness as well as fondness for God’s law and it’s preservation value. What can help us not to forget God’s orders, as the psalmist mentioned was his determination?
92 If I had not been fond of your law, I would have perished in my hardship.
93 I will never forget your orders, Because by them you have preserved me alive.
GOD'S LOVING LAW & ORDERS. (92,93) Once again, the psalmist reminds us of the importance of loving God's law, appreciating it's value in our everyday life. He is convinced that, without it, he would not have made it through times of difficulty. Likewise today, many dangers exist in the world, both physically and spiritually. It is "spiritual death" that could cause one to lose out on eternal life. How we need God's loving law to help guide our steps safely through this world, into the "real life." (1TImo 6:19). Especially was the psalmist concerned with God's "orders." Clearly, for the psalmist not to forget God’s orders, he had to be familiar with them. According to the next verse, he had “searched for [God’s] orders,” and no doubt discovered them. As obeying them saved his life, likely multiple times, his appreciation for them must have deepened. Even if our life is not physically threatened as much as the psalmist, spiritual hazards abound. By heeding divine orders to guard against bad associations and to hate what is bad, for instance, we may allow God to guard our spiritual lives and eternal life prospects. (1COri 15:33; PROve 13:20; PSalm 97:10). Like the psalmist, may we search for God’s orders in His word, especially those from Christ, review them often, and carefully keep them! (PSalm 119:4).
94 I belong to you; save me, Because I have searched for your orders.
ENDURANCE NOT SIMPLY SURVIVING. (94) The psalmist was born into a nation dedicated to God. Still, according to the psalmist, searching for God’s orders in order to keep or obey them provided a basis for salvation by Him. Jesus spoke in a similar way. After discussing many of the hardships that may be encountered by his disciples during the “last days,” he said at Matthew 24:13 “But the one who has endured to the end will be saved.” Such endurance is not simply “surviving,” but rather enduring trials faithfully to God, with integrity to Him, in harmony with His law. Just as receiving a license to drive a vehicle does not give us the right to drive any way we wish on the street, so having the ransom of Christ does not give us the right to violate God’s laws haphazardly. We should especially strive to carefully keep God’s orders, and appreciate His reminders in other areas of life, then the ransom sacrifice can cover our occasional misses, usually for more minor mistakes. As we do so, we “draw close to God,” and we may especially ‘belong to Him,’ as we prove to be loyal.
____
STANZA 13 Theme: KEEP GOD'S WORD.
The 8 verses of this stanza address questions such as these: What are three aspects of divine wisdom, and how are they beneficial? Why was the psalmist motivated to avoid evil, and how does obeying God deepen our wisdom?
97 How I do love your law! I ponder over it all day long.
IN PRACTICALLY EVERY SITUATION. (97) The psalmist is clearly motivated to obey God, wanting to please Him by living in accord with His law. Jehovoe’s law clearly reflects His own values and standards—loving and keeping it therefore helps us draw close to Him. But how can the psalmist have the time to “ponder over it all day long?” What does he mean by this? Well, he realizes that God’s word gives us advice or principles to apply in practically every situation we meet in life. Thus, “all day long” God’s law can guide us, if we readily seek God’s view and way in every situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 puts it this way: “5 Trust in Jehovoe with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding ("Never rely on what you think you know.", GNT). 6 In all your ways take notice of him, And he will make your paths straight.” Thus, look for God’s view, or way, in every situation you face, remaining humble before Him and others.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers, Because I ponder over your reminders.
ALWAYS GOOD REASON. (99) One aspect of divine wisdom is “insight.” This is empathy at work, to comprehend a given situation. Proverbs 19:11 says this: “11 The insight of a man certainly slows down his anger, And it is beauty on his part to overlook an offense.” Such applied empathy enables us to grasp why someone perhaps offended us the way they did, slowing down any anger that we might have begun to experience. The psalmist has developed such keen insight by pondering over God’s “reminders.” When we’re reminded about some order or command from God, are we in the habit of “pondering” the reasons for it, in harmony with God’s love for humanity? Does not Jehovoe always have good reason for His laws in keeping with what is true, right, just, and fair for all? (PROve 21:3; PSalm 98:9). May we develop such a habit to ask Why God instructs us as He does, confident in His overriding love for us in all His good guidance. (1JOhn 4:8).
____
STANZA 14 Theme: GOD CAN PRESERVE US THROUGH TIMES OF PERIL, WHILE HIS REMINDERS BRING JOY.
The 8 verses of stanza 14 include thoughts such as these: Like the psalmist, we may come to view God’s reminders with great joy. How does God’s word serve as a lamp and a light, how has God proven to be a Savior?
105 Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path.
BE GUIDED BY GOD'S WORD. (105) It was the prophet Jeremiah who was inspired by God to pen the words of Jeremiah 10:23, saying: “23 I well know, O Jehovoe, that man’s way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.” We want to rely on Jehovoe as we “walk with God,” willing to let Him guide our steps. Of course we have free will, and can choose our course in life, for Jehovoe is a God of freedom! But man was not designed to decide for himself what is good and what is bad, what is right and what is wrong. This belongs to Jehovoe God. Thus, Proverbs 16:9 says: “ 9 A man may plot out his course in his heart, But it is Jehovoe who directs his steps.” God’s word is therefore a “lamp” to our foot, to allow us to see the next step we should take. And more than that, it can light our path, helping us see down the road, alerting us to what may be coming in the distance. God’s prophetic word does give warning, often with history written in advance! May we look to God and His word for guidance in life, leading humanity to the success of God’s loving will and good purpose!
111 I take your reminders as my permanent possession, For they are the joy of my heart.
APPRECIATE THEM DEEPLY. (111) How we rejoice when we’ve recently been reminded of something that proved helpful to us in an important decision or situation we’ve faced! It is deeply satisfying to know what to do to please Jehovoe as we face decisions each day. Growing in godly wisdom helps us to know and not fret over such decisions, and life becomes more and more delightful, handling things successfully. Paying attention to reminders from God, which may come by reading His word personally, attending meetings where God’s word is read or discussed, or by association with those of genuine faith, can help us maintain a healthy routine in life, seeking first both God’s kingdom and His righteousness, or integrity to Him. (MATth 6:33). As the psalmist, may we come to delight in God’s reminders, seeking to understand them more fully rather than viewing them as mundane. Let them come to be “the joy of [our] heart!”
____
STANZA 15 Theme: REMAIN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF GOD'S JUDGEMENTS.
The 8 verses of stanza 15 express thoughts such as these: What determination by the psalmist to lovingly obey God! How does a proper motive aid us to keep God’s law?
118 You reject all those who stray from your [instructions], For they are false and deceitful.
PROVEN DIVINELY INSPIRED. (118) Recall that “God is love,” and He is the “God of truth.” (1JOhn 4:8; PSalm 31:5). Therefore, when He sees a need to give us specific instructions, are these not to help us live happily and peaceably in harmony with His good will and purpose? God-fearing ones love and appreciate such thoughtful guidance from our Creator! His instruction is far superior to that of those mistakenly believing that there is no God. To honest and right-hearted ones, having a proper motive, God’s instructions give evidence of it’s divine inspiration, moving them to keep His law. Those straying from such guidance, therefore, are “false and deceitful.” They promote their own ideas, or ideas they've heard, above God’s, deceiving others in seeking their own glory or prominence, though perhaps thinking humans will benefit. May such ones come to their senses, considering abundant evidence of God's loving creative works making life possible, with wondrous beauty! And may we not be so deceived, but appreciate God’s superior wisdom and give Him the glory He so deserves!
____
Stanza 16 Theme: PROVE A LOYAL SERVANT OF GOD, BY PRACTICING WHAT IS JUST AND RIGHT.
All 8 of these verses show God looks after the welfare of His loyal servants, who practice what is just and right. Why should we highly value God’s commandments?
121 I have done what is just and righteous. Do not abandon me to my oppressors!
STRIVE FOR BLAMELESS INTEGRITY. (:121) The psalmist here pleads for God’s protection on the basis of his adherence to the path of righteousness. Some would imagine that the ransom sacrifice of Christ somehow means we no longer have to practice what is right—What a mistake! Recall Jesus said, early in his Sermon on the Mount, “17 “Do not think I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I came, not to destroy, but to fulfill. 18 Truly I say to you that sooner would heaven and earth pass away than for one smallest letter or one stroke of a letter to pass away from the Law until all things take place. 19 Whoever, therefore, breaks one of these least commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in relation to the Kingdom of the heavens. But whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in relation to the Kingdom of the heavens. 20 For I say to you that if your righteousness does not surpass that of the scribes and the Pharisees, you will by no means enter into the Kingdom of the heavens.” The ransom is primarily to cover our unintentional, occasional misses as we strive for the target of righteousness, or blameless integrity to God. (ROMans 3:31; 6:15-17). With full faith in Christ, striving to carefully follow this example of righteousness and keep such inspired commands, we may likewise appeal to God if being oppressed, as the psalmist requests in these two verses.
127 That is why I love your commandments More than gold, even fine gold.
LOVING GOD'S COMMANDS MEAN LIFE. (:127) Thus we should, like the psalmist, highly value God’s commandments, for they contribute to the eternal welfare and happiness of all humans. While “gold” or money is necessary to get along in life, as this future king well understood, he placed the priority on God’s word, or spiritual matters. It is as stated at Ecclesiastes 7:12: “12 For wisdom is a protection just as money is a protection, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves the life of its owner.” Jesus/Jehosha showed that God himself can provide materially for His servants, as they put God’s will first in life. In fact, he revealed that only one can be put first—either God or Riches. He said, at Matthew 6:24: “24 “No one can slave for two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. You cannot slave for God and for Riches.” The psalmist thus chose to love God and His law more than anything money could buy. By this, of course, he was not choosing to give up his right to material wealth. However, eternal life is not available for a monetary price. One must come to love God and others in a genuine way, in harmony with godly wisdom, in accord with God’s word and law, with faith, or deep trust in God and His Son, getting to know them well, to “get a firm hold on the real life”—the everlasting life God has prepared for those who “continue loving Him.” (JOHn 17:3; 1TImo 6:19; JAMes 1:12).
____
Stanza 17 Theme: GOD’S WORDS IMPART UNDERSTANDING, THOSE LOVING GOD’S NAME ARE SHOWN FAVOR.
These verses express love for various aspects of God’s word, including His reminders and commandments. Why does the psalmist sigh over those not keeping God’s law?
130 The disclosure of your words brings light, Giving understanding to the [naive].
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. As a lamp needs to be lit, and as a light needs to be turned on to function, so God’s words need to be disclosed, shared, or “unfolded” to enlighten others to divine truth. This imparts understanding to those lacking—the naive, or those less aware. Jesus told his disciples: “14 “You are the light of the world. A city cannot be hid when located on a mountain. 15 People light a lamp and set it, not under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it shines on all those in the house. 16 Likewise, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your fine works and give glory to your Father who is in the heavens.” Thus, as God’s word is revealed and explained to us and others, we may listen and apply it’s counsel, causing us to be “rich in fine works” as a good example for others in imitation of Christ. (1TImo 6:18).
132 Turn to me and show me favor, In keeping with your judgement toward those loving your name.
RIGHT MOTIVATION. “Loving [God’s] name” is one of the most helpful motivations to learning and applying Bible truth. If we seek to uphold God’s reputation in the way we live, honoring Him and showing others the right way to go, we can unselfishly grow in godly wisdom. We should strive to be pure, seeking God’s honor far above our own (1COri 10:31). On this basis, the psalmist pleaded for God’s favor. We are also reminded of the rich meaning of God's name, as "He who causes to become." He has proven to be a great beginning, or starter of things, and making good things grow, just as Paul eluded to in 1 Corinthians 3, referring to the planting and watering of truth within hearts, "but God kept making it grow, so that neither is the one that plants anything, nor is the one who waters, but God who makes it grow." While those on earth, including those in high station, may rightly receive honor for good works, how much more we should acknowledge the God whose blessing likely made it possible!
136 Tears stream down from my eyes Because people do not keep your law.
THE VALUE OF GOD'S LAW. Thus, the peace and happiness that all people seek can only be truly found in harmony with God and His law through Christ. The psalmist clearly cared deeply about people enough to feel for those not recognizing Jehovoe God’s desire and ability to help them prosper spiritually. Psalm 19:7-10 sums up the value of God’s law: “7 The law of Jehovoe is perfect, restoring strength. The reminder of Jehovoe is trustworthy, making the inexperienced one wise. 8 The orders from Jehovoe are righteous, causing the heart to rejoice; The commandment of Jehovoe is clean, making the eyes shine [“enlightening the eyes”, AMP]. 9 The fear of Jehovoe is pure, lasting forever. The judgements of Jehovoe are true, altogether righteous. 10 They are more desirable than gold, Than much fine gold, And sweeter than honey, the honey that drips from the combs.” The Christian apostle Paul likewise felt for people, in imitation of Christ, recognizing their spiritual need. He wrote, at 1Corinthians 9:19,22-23: "For though I am free from all people, I have made myself the slave to all, so that I may gain as many people as possible...To the weak I became weak, in order to gain the weak. I have become all things to people of all sorts, so that I might by all possible means save some. 23 But I do all things for the sake of the good news, in order to share it with others." Paul recognized the Christian order to share the "happy hope" and good news concerning Christ and God's kingdom with others, and prepared himself to do so at the right time, and in the right way. May we likewise be ready to share real hope with others, on the basis of God's inspired word!

Stanza 18 Theme: IN SPITE OF TEMPORARY ILL TREATMENT BY ADVERSARIES, GOD IS TRUE AND JUST, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ETERNAL.
The 8 verses of this stanza remind us of God’s eternal righteousness, His reliable reminders, His trustworthy law. How is God’s saying thoroughly refined?
140 Your saying is thoroughly refined, And your servant loves it.
WONDERFUL AND RELIABLE WORDS. It is 2Timothy 3:16-17 which says of God's word: "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving [strong correction], for setting things straight [readjusting], for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work." The more we examine God's wonderful and reliable words we find evidence of it's wisdom and divine inspiration. This text is simplified in NIRV, reading: "God has breathed life into all of Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. 17 By using Scripture, a man of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing." The psalmist saw it's thorough truthfulness, and loved it--may we come to have the same appreciation!
142 Your righteousness is an eternal righteousness, And your law is truth.
THE WAY OF ETERNITY. God's righteousness, or way--encompassing His right laws and standards--is clearly the way of eternity. Understandably, we are to ever live in a way that trusts our reliable God of love, and promotes real peace with Him and others, universally. Jehovoe loves truth rooted in unselfish love, and is the "God of truth." (ISAiah 65:16). His divine law is perfectly arranged to support such truth, encouraging us to live and act in harmony with it. Thus it can be said that Jehovoe's "law IS truth." What has come to be known as the Mosaic Law can be understood in Christian light, and often applied in a different, or figurative way. Of course Jesus gave commands that, when kept, enable a richer, and even more heartfelt obedience to God's law. (MATth 5:17-20; JERem 31:31-34). Thus God's law and Christ's instructions should be treasured as guiding all of mankind to an eternally peaceful world of right and just living!
____
Stanza 19 Theme: CALL UPON JEHOVOE WITH FAITH, HOPE, AND INTEGRITY.
In the 8 verses of this stanza, we’re reminded that when we wholeheartedly call upon Jehovoe He will hear and answer us. We must do so in faith, seeking integrity, and be persistent in our requests. How is knowledge of God to last forever?
145 I call with my whole heart. Answer me, O Jehovoe. Your regulations [authoritative guidelines and procedures] I will observe.
TRUE, LIVING FAITH NOT MERE BELIEF. Clearly the psalmist loved receiving answers from Jehovoe regarding his pleas, whole-heartedly calling upon Him. The psalmist makes known through several verses that doing so includes observing God’s instructions, seeking integrity to Him. He is flat out determined to obey God. Thus genuine faith in God is not mere belief, but is accompanied by actions that prove it’s sincerity. James writes: “14 Of what benefit is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but he does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it? 15 If any brothers or sisters are lacking clothing and enough food for the day, 16 yet one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but you do not give them what they need for their body, of what benefit is it? 17 So, too, faith by itself, without works, is dead.” Thus the good knowledge we take in must be pondered to examine how it should affect us, what actions or obedience it should inspire, thereby reaching our figurative heart.
152 Long ago I learned about your reminders, That you have established them to last forever.
"THE DEPTH OF GOD'S...WISDOM" How we can appreciate God’s refined word, the wisdom of which has proven true on many levels! “33 O the depth of God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How unsearchable his judgements are and beyond tracing out his ways are!” God’s word itself contains the reminders that we all need to maintain our spiritual awareness and faithfulness to God, evidently into eternity! Clearly from this statement of the psalmist, the knowledge of God will “last forever,” along with needed reminders from Him. Isaiah 40:8 says: “8 The green grass dries up, The blossom withers, But the word of our God endures forever.” Thus the word of God, from Genesis to Revelation (with it’s climactic charm), 66 or 70 books if separating the 5 books of Psalms, is a treasure trove of divine knowledge that we can enjoy and appreciate for all time to come, as the holy book that introduced mankind to it’s breathtaking Author, the Creator, Jehovoe God. Any additional “scrolls,” unnumbered in Revelation, will no doubt likewise encourage lovers of God and divine truth, as also any further revealed will of Jehovoe, on into eternity.

Why did God allow His Son Jehosha (Jesus) to suffer as a terrible criminal?
The wayward, or practicers of wrongdoing, are not interested in such a search, wanting to please only themselves—thus salvation remains “far away” from them, unless they whole-heartedly repent, desiring to turn around from wrong conduct, and find true happiness supporting God’s right and loving ways.
____
STANZA 21 THEME: NOTHING CAN STUMBLE THOSE LOVING GOD'S LAW, KEEPING HIS ORDERS AND REMINDERS--THEY OWN ABUNDANT PEACE.
This group of 8 verses build appreciation for God's law, with reasons to keep it, and some blessings for doing so.
____
STANZA 22 THEME: JEHOVOE WORTHY OF PRAISE, GOD OF SALVATION FOR THOSE WILLING TO BE TAUGHT HIS LAW.
This group of 8 verses concludes the entire psalm in a stirring way, acknowledging God's desire to help and favor those fondly keeping His law. Some 10 requests are made of God, revealing reliance upon Him and appreciation for the personal attention He gives the psalmist, and all such loyal ones.
Jehovah’s hand was “ready to help” them, so can we not count on the same today? Psalm 46:1 says this: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress."
____Ps119[7]
PSALM 119 Review 7 Stanzas 1-11
STANZA 1, Verses 1-8: HAPPINESS IS FOUND IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
TRUE HAPPINESS FOUND. Happiness depends on obedience to God's law, but only by exercising faith, or deep trust, in God, His word and His son, and the ransom provision for forgiveness of sins, with repentance. We must recall that Abraham's faith was "counted to him as righteousness," so we can develop a right standing with God, even while we have much to learn of God's right standards, endeavoring to keep them.
A few misunderstood terms found in verses 1-7 include these:
Verse 4 speaks of God's ORDERS to be "carefully kept." Recall Psalm 19:8 says "The ORDERS from Jehovoe are upright, causing the heart to rejoice." Clearly a command to do or avoid something, evidently with even more urgency or zeal than a command or commandment, with hopefully all recognizing it's purpose--the important reasons for it, and therefore possibly serious consequences if we fail to heed it. We may recognize a "God-order" as an order coming from the Supreme authority of Jehovoe God. (Genesis 18:22-25-33).
Verse 5 mentions observing God's REGULATIONS. These are defined as authoritative detailed rules or procedures, given to regulate or control an organization or system. It is most likely that when used in the plural in God's word, this may be translated as "INSTRUCTIONS," a much more familiar term.
Verse 7 mentions God's upright JUDGEMENTS. These are evaluations formed by discerning and comparing or contrasting. His evaluations and decisions should be respected and appreciated, and often much can be learned from them. They are "true, altogether upright." (Psalm 19:9).
A REASONABLE LAW. Also key to the first stanza is that it is possible and reasonable to keep God's laws and standards. The first 4 verses thus read as follows: "Happy are those who are blameless in their way, Who walk in the law of Jehovoe. 2 Happy are those who observe his reminders, Who search for him with all their heart. 3 They practice no crookedness; They walk in his ways. 4 You have commanded That your orders be carefully kept."
STANZA 2, Verses 9-16: BY GOD'S WORD A YOUTH CAN REMAIN MORALLY CLEAN OR PURE.
Verse 9 "How can a young man keep his path clean? BY keeping on guard according to your word.”
KEEPING ON GUARD. (09) Young children are often safeguarded by parents and other responsible ones from much of the spiritual filth or contamination that degrades the morality and spirituality of foolish and naive ones lacking the understanding and shrewdness or prudence to realize the danger of such things. Proverbs 22:3 says: "The prudent one sees the danger and conceals himself, But the naive keep right on going and suffer the consequences." As these precious children grow, they should be helped to gain enough prudence to be aware and cautious of spiritual pitfalls that became common in "critical times hard to deal with." (2TImo 3:1). While loving people, they will still need to guard their associations from "bad company" that "corrupts good character." (1COri 15:33, NIV; 2TImo 3:2-5). Thus, how can a young man keep his path clean? The answer is expressed this way in AMP: "By taking heed and keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to it]." God's word, including the book of Proverbs, contains much divine instruction that can assist all to protect their spirit from ruin. May we treasure Christian teachings and guidance toward God's reward of eternal life, peace, and happiness!
Verse 11 "In my heart I treasure up your saying, so that I may not sin against you."
TREASURING GOD'S SAYINGS. (11) Verse 11 says "In my heart I treasure up your saying, so that I may not sin against you." Jesus said, at Matthew 7:24, "“Therefore, everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does them will be like a discreet man who built his house on the rock." In God's word are found many motivating expressions helping us remain faithful to God, as we ponder them, endeavoring to see how to live by them each day. These sayings need to affect, not only our speech, but also our actions. It is not enough simply to know God's standards, we need to develop heart appreciation for them, perhaps with prudence to see the blessings and rewards of choosing the right course, and some of the problems and troubles caused by choosing poorly. Thus we can more readily "hate what is bad" and choose a good path. (PSalm 97:10; PROve 2:20-22).
STANZA 3, Verses 17-24: FONDNESS FOR GOD'S WORD VITAL FOR FAITHFULNESS.
Verse 18 "Open my eyes so that I may see clearly The wonderful things from your law."
THE VALUE AND BEAUTY OF GOD'S LAW. (18) In verse 18, the psalmist pleads: "Open my eyes so that I may see clearly The wonderful things from your law." The psalmist recognizes that a person can be blind to the beautiful truths of God's word and law. Anointed to become king, the psalmist knew that accepting a bribe, as God's law stated at Exodus 23:8, "blinds clear-sighted men and can distort the words of upright men." Also, any form of idolatry, exalting anyone or anything above the place only God should occupy in our hearts, causes those having eyes not to see, hampering spiritual vision. (PSalm 115). For example, married partners may fail to recognize threats to their relationship. And Paul eludes to this, in referring to those influenced by an opposing godship, at 2Corinthians 4:4, "among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through." Therefore, let's not be fooled into underestimating the value or beauty of God's law, nor the rewards of adhering thereto. Eternal life in genuine peace with real satisfaction, only by God's law, is surely worth every effort to attain!
STANZA 4, Verses 25-32: WE CAN REMAIN FAITHFUL UNDER DIFFICULT TRIALS.
HELP TO ENDURE. We can remain faithful under trialsome circumstances, such as God would permit. The inspired word of God says this, at 1Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has come upon you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it."
Verse 25 "I lie prostrate in the dust. Preserve me alive according to your word."
CONTINUE SEEKING WHAT IS RIGHT. (25) In verse 25, the psalmist expresses himself this way: "I lie prostrate in the dust. Preserve me alive according to your word." He thus speaks as if "at the end of his rope." Nevertheless, He falls back on God and His promise to sustain him. Even if sins have been committed, it is faith, or a loving, thankful trust and reliance upon God, that was "counted to [Abraham] as righteousness, or worthiness." Forgiveness can be found, and God can raise one up even from the dust. Psalm 55:22 says "Throw your burden on Jehovoe, And he will sustain you. Never will he allow the upright one to fall." Are you motivated to continue trusting in Jehovoe, seeking what is right? While it's not always the "path of least resistance," you will receive assistance toward lasting peace for all. Psalm 34:19 says: "Many are the hardships of the upright one, But Jehovoe rescues him from them all."
Recall the theme for STANZA 5, verses 33-40:
WHOLE-HEARTED OBEDIENCE CAN BE (HAPPILY) CULTIVATED AND SUSTAINED OVER TIME.
Verses 34 and 37 contain some key thoughts on this theme, helping us to comprehend God's law and it's value, and hold to it. Here are the verses and their associated comments:
Verse 34 Give me understanding, So that I may observe your law And keep it with my whole heart.
UNDERSTANDING NEEDED. (34) The psalmist recognizes the importance of the quality of understanding, when it comes to learning to fully obey Jehovoe. Understanding involves seeing the big picture, along with all the individual pieces that make it up, and how they all interconnect to make the whole. This is vital, for instance, when learning to operate a motor vehicle. There are things to know and traffic laws that must be learned, that together make it possible to safely navigate the roadways among fellow drivers. Without drivers understanding this important knowledge, there would be chaos and confusion. By the time people learn to drive, they thus use this thinking to do so properly. God is honored by our respect for such laws. We of course learn such laws, not only for our own benefit, but out of love and respect for our neighbors, with interest in their safety. With such motives, it is possible to observe God's law with our "whole heart." Such laws will then most likely affect our actions and reactions, as we truly seek to obey and honor God from the heart. It is important to remember, however, that only with proper discernment can one's understanding can be most useful and effective. Everyone needs to gain a good grasp of discernment, or the proposed term "difftell", the ability to tell the difference between true and false, right and wrong, good from bad, clean from unclean things in God's eyes, also the importance or seriousness of matters before they reach a reasonable age of youth, perhaps between 8 and 10, when one might begin growing more steadily to understand broader topics. Older children can bolster these qualities with various books, as well as periodicals known for wholesome instruction, such as Reader's Digest, and the Bible journal known as Awake!.
Verse 37 Turn my eyes away from looking at what is worthless; Preserve me alive in your way.
SPURNING WHAT IS "UNWORTHY"
(37) Psalm 119:37 This verse shows an important consideration to maintaining godly obedience--being careful what we give attention to, especially what we choose to listen to or look at. We need the quality of discernment, or possibly "difftell", to judge between something of value spiritually and something "unworthy." This quality helps us discern between right and wrong, true and false, good and bad, and clean and unclean things in God's eyes. We might add: between important and unimportant things, and things of great value, or less or no value. Let's use God's word to correct a child's thinking on these matters. How would you value a close relationship with God? How about eternal life in true peace and happiness, and that of your loved ones and friends? Of course, the latter depends upon the former. Hopefully you've come to value both highly. If so, we should have no problem turning away from things that undermine, or threaten to take away, what we treasure most, choosing instead the things in harmony with God's right ways and standards. In this way we act in harmony with the psalmist's plea to be 'preserved alive in God's own way.' If you don't yet feel close to God, pray to Him more, with faith, or deep trust in Him and His desire to reward you for your loyalty. (HEBre 11:6). Confidently ask him for things you truly need, and experience His hand of assistance in your life, while you read His word for His guidance. In this way, "Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you..." (JAMes 4:8).
Verse 38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, So that you may be feared.
"FULFILL YOUR PROMISE" (38) As a future king, the psalmist may have been making reference to a specific promise he received from God, perhaps the one to make him the king that God had anointed him to become, the fulfillment of which would demonstrate to others God's love, wisdom, power, and adherence to what is right. Thus, the writer of Psalm 119 is actually David, after his anointing to become king, but before taking the throne while King Saul was opposing him. (1CHron 12:1-2,8,16-17). Jehovoe is a Keeper of Promises. God has made many promises regarding His faithful servants, to sustain them through trials, for instance. Psalm 55:22 says: "Throw your burden on Jehovoe, And he will sustain you. Never will he allow the upright one to fall." God's support of His people surely brings Him glory, especially when His servants trust fully in Him and hold on to their integrity. May all possible come to thus "revere the true God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man." (ECCle 12:13).
Recall the theme for STANZA 6, verses 41-48:
LOYAL DEVOTION TO GOD REFINES OUR INTEGRITY AND STRENGTHENS OUR HOPE.
In addition to verse 41, verses 44 and 47 also underscore this theme. They read: "I will keep your law constantly, Forever and ever... I am fond of your commandments, Yes, I love them."
Verse 41 May I experience your loyal love, O Jehovoe, Your salvation in harmony with your promise.
CULTIVATE AFFECTION FOR JEHOVOE. (41) The psalmist thus shows that God's love for us would certainly move Him to bring us salvation in His judgement, in harmony with many such promises in His word. Psalm 91, evidently written by Moses, says this in verses 14-16: "God said: “Because he has affection for me, I will rescue him. I will protect him because he knows my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in distress. I will rescue him and glorify him. 16 I will satisfy him with long life, And I will cause him to see my acts of salvation.” All this because of our affectionate love for Jehovoe, shown by our loyal obedience to Him (1JOhn 5:3). Such an attachment to God personally, a close relationship with Him, moves Jehovoe to respond loyally in return. "Draw close to God and He will draw close to you..." says James 4:8. Accordingly, our hope of salvation is thereby strengthened.
Recall the theme for STANZA 7, verses 49-56:
GOD'S LAW AND WORD OF PROMISE ARE RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY.
Verses 49, 50 and 56 especially help us appreciate this truth, as the psalmist experienced it for himself. These verses read: "Remember your word to your servant, Through which you give me hope. This is my comfort in my hardship, For your saying has preserved me alive...(In reference to keeping God's law:) This has been my practice Because I have observed your orders." Note here comments for verses 49 and 56.
Verse 49: Remember your word to your servant, Through which you give me hope.
THE GOD OF HOPE. (49) This future king evidently received a word of promise from Jehovoe, which helped to sustain him through difficult times. Of course, God's word the Bible is filled with hope-inspiring promises from God. Hope is vital to all, and God is eager for people to look to Him with hope in His blessing and salvation by seeking faithfulness to Him. In fact, a primary reason God's word the Bible has been provided to humans is that "we might have hope." Romans 15:4 says: "For all the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction, so that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope." After Adam's sin, it took Jehovoe almost no time at all to provide hope to the human family of a restoration of God's purpose, with the prophecy recorded in Genesis 3:15. Thus Jehovoe is keenly aware of our need for this. May we likewise be quick to provide comfort to one lacking hope, if only they may turn to the God of hope, Jehovoe. Psalm 146:5 says "Happy is the one who has the God of Jacob as his helper, Whose hope is in Jehovoe his God."
The psalmist strove to keep God's law, and accordingly said this, in verse 56: "This has been my practice Because I have observed your orders."
KEEPING GOD FIRST. (56) Observing God's orders cause "the heart to rejoice," as God gives us rewarding activities to focus our attention on to help accomplish His will. (PSalm 19:8). It is as David sang at Psalm 23:5-6 "...My cup is well-filled. 6 Surely goodness and loyal love will pursue me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of Jehovoe for all my days." The psalmist made it a practice to do the things necessary to maintain his hold on God's law, because he followed God's orders, and these helped him to maintain soundness of mind, keeping his priorities straight in life. When we put God first in life, doing as He instructs, other things seem to fall into place--we're able to get more accomplished than we may realize. Philippians 4:13 says "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." And in reference to the order for Christians to share divine light, God's word mentions, at 2Corinthians 4:7 "However, we have this treasure ["the glorious knowledge of God"] in earthen vessels (or, clay pots), so that the power beyond what is normal may be God’s and not from us." May we thus diligently seek God's commands through Christ, relying upon God for the power to keep them, assisting us in drawing close to God and proving a blessing to fellow humans.
The theme for stanza 8, verses 57-64, is this:
CLOSENESS TO GOD AND DIVINE FAVOR WORTH ALL EFFORT TO MAINTAIN.
Verse 58, 63, and 64 especially underscore this theme, as we see the value of having God's blessing, and the joys of serving Jehovoe alongside others who love, obey, and greatly respect Him. Verses 58 and 63 with remarks follow:
Verse 58: I appeal to you with all my heart; Show me favor according to your promise.
HELP OTHERS BE FAITHFUL TO GOD. (58) The psalmist makes every effort to please His God, to receive His favor and approval, appealing to Him "with all [his] heart." This may remind you of the designation by God's Son Jesus/Jehosha of the greatest commandments of the Law, as revealed at Matthew 22:37-40: "He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovoe your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 The second, like it, is this: ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.” As important as it is to love people, here we see loving God takes priority. Jehovoe God has the greatest capacity for love, it being His greatest quality. (1JOhn 4:8). It is Jehovoe's part in a marriage that can make it a steadfast bond, not easily broken, as Ecclesiastes 4:12 states: "And someone may overpower one alone, but two together can take a stand against him. And a threefold cord cannot quickly be torn apart." Thus the greatest love one can show to his or her spouse is by helping one another be loyal and faithful to God. Then, by God's command, they should love one another, becoming "one flesh." (GENes 2:24).
Verse 63 I am a friend of all who fear you And of those who keep your orders.
UNITED BY GOD OF PEACE. (63) Here is another joy of loving God first and serving Him faithfully--we may find delightful association with others who are equally devoted to Jehovoe, holding to His standards. The genuine fear of God is not a morbid one--while respecting His greatness and power, we fear displeasing or hurting Him, wanting nothing to hinder His love. Thus, godly fear and love are spoken of together in the Scriptures. (DEUte 10:12; PSAlm 103:11). It is ONLY by the united loyalty to Jehovoe God that genuine peace and love can flourish, having His support and blessing! Proverbs 10:22 reminds us: "It is the blessing of Jehovoe that makes one rich, And He adds no pain with it." Psalm 133:1 expresses the result, in saying: "Look! How good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!" Together, we treasure loyalty and faithfulness to God, shown by our obedience.
The theme for STANZA 9, verses 65-72, is this, along with selected verse commentary:
GOD’S DISCIPLINE IS GOOD FOR US, HELPING US TREASURE HIS PRICELESS LAW.
Verse 68: You are good and your works are good. Teach me your [instructions].
EVIDENCE OF GOD'S LOVE. (68) Thus, Jehovoe’s works are in harmony with His personality—they are a manifestation of His great love, wisdom, power, and sense of justice. His primary quality, according to His word, is love. While God HAS the other qualities, it is only love that He IS. (1John 4:8,16). Therefore, we can expect His works, past, present, and future to primarily manifest this quality. Can we not see this in God’s works of creation? The way humans have been made ‘in God’s image,’ to be able to think, reason, draw conclusions, work with our hands, move with our feet, laugh, and enjoy living—can we not appreciate our Great Designer? How much work would teams of scientists and engineers have to do to design and create a robot that could do all the things humans are capable of doing? Could it really just come about by chance? What about all that went into the animal creation, with the delightful experiences of watching kittens or puppies at play, seeing squirrels or other acrobatic creatures amaze us with their feats of skill, witnessing a bird’s talented flight or listening to birdsong? What about the sights and aromas of beautiful flowers or blossoming trees in springtime? Then being able to share such times with friends and loved ones, delighting in conversation over meals and other enjoyable activities—can our appreciation and love for God not continue to grow as we contemplate His innumerable kindnesses manifested toward the human family? Yes, Jehovoe is good and His works are good! Like the psalmist, may we thus be moved to willingly learn from God even His detailed guidance for us, that we may know how to live and support the doing of His will and good purpose.
Verse 71: It is good that I have been challenged, So that I may learn your instructions.
Verse 72: The law that you have proclaimed is good for me, More so than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
GOD'S LAW A PROTECTION, PRICELESS. (71-72) Similar to verse 67, the psalmist looks back on times of difficulty, as disciplining him toward godly obedience. He came to recognize God’s law as a protection from the stain and pain of wrong conduct. He learned God’s regulations, or detailed guidance, that he might keep it, finding and maintaining God’s approval, favor, and blessing. Happily, Jehovoe can forgive past error, even making such mistakes “white like snow.” (ISAiah 1:18). Still, there can be consequences that ones have to live with for serious transgressions, just as David suffered many family troubles for his sins. How much better to appreciate God’s goodness, accepting His loving correction to begin with, choosing to live in accord with His standards! Still, according to God we may hope in time that "the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart. So exult and be joyful forever in what I am creating..." (ISAiah 65:17) Also in verse 72, the stanza is summed up with an evaluation of God’s law—truly priceless! The psalmist has shown over several stanzas the benefits of keeping it whole-heartedly—remaining in a close relationship with God, and usually being respected by most God-fearing persons. He recognized God’s law as good, not just for others, but for him personally, moving him to value it more than money. Ecclesiastes 7:12 says “The advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves the life of its owner.” Money, while necessary, cannot buy eternal life or true happiness, as God’s word clarifies. Therefore may we come to see what is of greatest value in life, and refuse to let others convince us otherwise!
The theme for all of stanza 10, verses 73-80, is:
SUBMISSION TO GOD'S DISCIPLINE PLACES US IN HIS HANDS TO EXPERIENCE HIS FAITHFULNESS.
Verse 75: I know, O Jehovoe, that your judgements are upright And that you have afflicted me in your faithfulness.
Verse 77: Show me mercy, so that I may keep living, For I am fond of your law.
GOD'S PERMISSION OF DIFFICULTIES & CHOOSE LIFE. (75,77) The psalmist was a future king, and thus perhaps came under more of God’s discipline than most, needing refinement to carry out the will of God fully. Likewise, those receiving sonship to rule with Christ need God’s loving correction to guide them in receiving their privileged reward from God. Anointed Hebrew Christians, focusing on their problems, were counseled at Hebrews 12:5-6: “5 And you have entirely forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not belittle the discipline from Jehovoe, nor give up when you are corrected by him; 6 for those whom Jehovoe loves he disciplines, in fact, he scourges everyone whom he receives as a son.” The psalmist thus felt he was experiencing difficulties that God at least permitted, yet he saw God’s faithfulness in His dealings with him. He knew God’s judgements were upright, and he could endure in faithfulness, learning from his experiences to observe God’s law fully. Also, the psalmist no doubt recognized human imperfection, and the need for God's mercy in the maintaining of our relationship with Him. He sought this mercy on the basis of his genuine fondness for God and His law. He knew it means life to be pleasing God--for Christians, eternal life is dependent upon it, and being alive spiritually depends likewise on our friendship with God and His son. Such thoughts may remind one of Moses' exhortation to Israel, as regards their keeping of the Mosaic Law, at Deuteronomy 30:15-16: "“See, I do put before you today life and good, and death and bad. 16 If you listen to the commandments of Jehovoe your God that I am commanding you today, by loving Jehovoe your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his judicial decisions, then you will live and multiply, and Jehovoe your God will bless you in the land you are going to possess." For Christians, God's approval and one's upright standing come by faith, or a loving, thankful trust, in God and his mercy through the ransom provision of Christ, as we likewise seek obedience to Him and His son.
The theme for stanza 11, verses 81-88, is:
GOD'S RELIABLE ORDERS HELP PRESERVE US THROUGH PERIODS OF PERSECUTION.
Verse 86: All your commandments are trustworthy. Men persecute me without cause; help me!
Verse 87: They almost exterminated me from the earth, But I did not abandon your orders.
VALUING GOD'S COMMANDS, ORDERS. (86-87) God's commandments truly are for our lasting benefit. To persecute someone for obeying the commandments of our true loving God, Jehovoe, reveals a lack of appreciation for what is truly right and good for mankind. Yet, God's word warns us of such an influence, saying, at 2Timothy 3:12: "12 In fact, all those desiring to live with godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus will also be persecuted." Like the psalmist, some may even be persecuted "without cause"--just for existing! He looks in the right direction, however, pleading to God: "Help me!" May we continue to appreciate God's trustworthy commandments while looking to Him for assistance! Also, by concentrating on God's most serious and urgent commands, we may be protected from possible spiritual harm. The psalmist was even guarded from extermination. Let us prayerfully rely on Jehovoe during such times, knowing of faithful men throughout history who faced similar trials (Hebrews 11).
May we thus come to appreciate God's discipline and it's many benefits, placing ourselves in His hands of faithfulness by looking to Him and His word and law to guide and protect us spiritually through good times and periods of difficulty.
____Ps119[8]
____
____
STANZA 20 THEME: GOD CAN RESCUE RIGHTEOUS, DISTANT FROM TREACHEROUS, BUT GREAT IN MERCY.
This group of 8 verses contrasts the righteous from the treacherous, those not deviating from God's reminders from those who do not keep God's saying. Yet, God's mercy is great. May we come to love God's orders.
Why did God allow His Son Jehosha (Jesus) to suffer as a terrible criminal?
The wayward, or practicers of wrongdoing, are not interested in such a search, wanting to please only themselves—thus salvation remains “far away” from them, unless they whole-heartedly repent, desiring to turn around from wrong conduct, and find true happiness supporting God’s right and loving ways.

NOTHING CAN STUMBLE THOSE LOVING GOD'S LAW, KEEPING HIS ORDERS AND REMINDERS--THEY OWN ABUNDANT PEACE.
This group of 8 verses build appreciation for God's law, with reasons to keep it, and some blessings for doing so.

Jehovah’s hand was “ready to help” them, so can we not count on the same today? Psalm 46:1 says this: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress."
They “have not forgotten [God’s] commandments.” May such ones be helped to return to Jehovoe, motivated to once again give Jehovoe their obedience, this time gaining greater wisdom to progress to a more complete loyal love for God and their neighbors, finding the true “joy of Jehovoe” that they may recall from times past, or even never quite fully experienced.

Upcoming: To post the Review of Psalm 119 Stanzas 12-14, also aiming for other segment posts to further orient the latest blogpost pages. NOTE: Of course, my primary focus is on this nation and things related to my doing and being what God has prepared me to do, be, etc. As regards the 400-day calendar, now the 7-day is off about 16 days for the year, and I noticed that the 1st of August, being a Friday, could be an entry point, if it was accepted and organized properly. Many companies could give workers off that day, with one more day off following, then it would be Sunday but essentially Monday/Moonday of the new calendar, the 18th of Month 7 Huli, for another 5 days work, unless the Sunday was also given off, for a 4-day workweek, then still another 2 days off, before the next 5-day workweek would lead to the 4-day week-ending break. Thus technically Month 7 would be extended, while both calendars can be understood and acknowledged, going from the 7-Day to the 8-Day Calendar. There are ways to pad the 7-day calendar to better line up with the 8-Day going forward, so the seasons do not continue to get off-kilter year after year from the 7-day, as a transitional calendar, which is excellent for planning and correlating dates, etc. to the new calendar. I urge many to think about how this transition would be implemented in what you or your team does, as over half the world knows that this is the true calendar, and has already transitioned to it, and even much of the United States was acknowledging it as the true calendar astronomically, scientifically, etc. for a considerable time last year. At least we might get the conversation going again, with God really having intervened to bring about this change--are some having difficulty realizing God's love for all? This time of consideration actually leads to a period of three weeks (!) where the two calendars nearly match up on the weekends, confirming this as an excellent time to look into transitioning, which again was being considered and in some practice at times previously here in the U.S., where the revealing of God's intervention and calendar originated. The third weekend mentioned has the 16th-17th of August aligning with Days 7-8 (31st-32nd) of the final weekend of Huli, Month 7. (As regards days 32-33 or 34 of months, new computer data fields have been created for the new calendar, different from what has been in place for the 7-day, to accommodate. I apologize for the delay, I expect to get back to my punctuality that I was known for, throughout my 2020 election year, for example, and afterward, with God's continued blessing! NOTE : As you may realize, I've continued this blogset based on the 400-day calendar (the true one, astronomically, meteorologically, scientifically, etc.), and hopefully which we will acknowledge here, as many localities and regions here in the United States were doing for much time last year! There was some confusion about the reality of this or the connections to my Come to Consensus article, referring to it as the 8-Day Calendar, having God's blessing on new sets of month- and daynames that carry real meaning into our lives, benefitting us more, and underscoring God's interest and love for us. I'm looking to post a few more articles, some Persistent Articles, which I think will replace the Persistent/Introductory Posts designation. Thus PA's will usually be articles that may benefit more people, or benefit people more, in some way, with God's blessing. The full 8-Day Calendar article, as a CTC article, is one I actually thought was posted already this blog cycle, but I wish to post soon today, although it is available on the last blog 3C/8C. I want to review before posting on 4C/8C, blogpost 3 (the C in 4C/8C). I may change referring to blogpost 3 to blogpost C. I may also update the wording of the Educational Note on blogpost 3/C. Update, but article still coming. Article is there, under PA's (Persistent Articles) on blogpost 3/C, as (8-2). There are still other articles I wish to include in the next few days...I've updated that article, month 1, and more updates are possible. (d.626Mnd, 709Wed 8:45-46 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've completed the text of the podcast Winit500 theme of last November, w0840-44 U.S. Election for President, 2024. It is in the list under (1B) the Win-it Minute Series work., podcast available on Spotify, elsewhere. Also, don't forget about the Significantly Revised article, What It Means To Be Righteous or Upright, on the Top Menu above. Let's continue to look to God and Christ above, as we navigate current circumstances--there is much we can accomplish together when we look above and stand for what's true and right, and what the Founders of our Nation stood for, the same, and looking for God's blessing for things to be as they should. Let's not assume that just because someone may want us to believe a lie, that we just need to go along with it--that's not who we are! Americans across our nation voted, elected me President of the United States, for good reason, and I'm the one blessed by God to be so, doing what I can despite our circumstances--recall that Donald Trump acknowledged at one point that he was not the President of the United States, but seems to have managed to sweep that under the carpet somehow. Nevertheless we want the best for all, recognizing God's love for all, but we also want our Nation truly as it Should Be, and as GOD will blessing it to Become! ALSO POSTED (7) Proverbs B Commentary, chapter 11 conclusion, verses 27-31! (d.620Wdn, f703Thu 8:03 am; 9:38,55,58; 10:50 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Got the Podcast Episode 1 Text posted from yesterday, on the W5a w0840-44 U.S. Election for President 2024, listed under the (1B) Win-it Minute Series, explaining how Donald was attempting to defraud the public by claiming victory in the Presidential election, covering the TRUE results of the election by America. Later, however, as addressed in a later podcast, and after still staging an inauguration, he was willing at one point to be honest with the American people and admit that he was "not the President of the United States", as many who voted for me (and Washington, etc.) hopefully are coming to realize. I've also posted the 2025 Claim to Presidency text in the main body of Winit5to9 Posts, with the more recent Harvard and Issue of Government posts to follow sometime. Formatting, text accuracy. Now also, posted (7) Proverbs B, PR-B(11.5) chapter 11, verses 22-26. Formatting. (d.617Son, f630Mon 5:33-34; 8:56,58; 9:53; 10:22,36,48 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've moved last year's podcast from after the 2024 November election to the top of my Find Life And See Podcast on Spotify, W5a w0840-44 U.S. Election for President 2024. I have a place for the text of this podcast below, which I intend to begin posting today. NOW please consider carefully (when you are able) the PIP article below, Names of God and Christ, Clarified, for a carefully composed revision! You may also see the Note from yesterday, just below, regarding God's Name. Updates. (d.616Fan, f629Sun 10:16,18,34 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! As I've occasionally referred to, there has been interference by some, trying to corrupt good work or rob me of much of my own work, whether claiming my own website articles or my podcast work, ideas/designs/patents, etc., and especially even my rightful win as President of the United States, after already being the true 46th President of the United States, fully expecting this time to finally make it to the White House, where I can be and do fully what the American people have looked forward and expect me to be and do. Another thing has come to my attention--my work on restoring God's true name. At one point I was clarifying God's name to be JEHOVAHZ, not Jehovalz. Someone with power attempted to take credit for this, and try to cause confusion about JEHOVALZ, which is now understood to be one of the three GODs that make up the Complete JEHOVAHZ. While knowing Him as a GOD of Vows/Valz, altogether He brings things about, especially His will, in many ways, not only by the keeping of Promises. I'll be updating the website accordingly, and the NAMES of God and Christ article, to again reflect this position. I've already updated the recently posted (4B) Psalm 119 Review 4 Stanzas 01-11 to reflect this change. Also now the most recent (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(4.5). Also (7) Proverbs B, PR-B(11.4) Correction.

Notes, Formatting NOTES: (25d.515 Slv, f526 Mon 1:56, 9:41; 10:23 am; 3:41; 6:29 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Updating, I've added posts on blogpost 2, finishing the Ten Commandments and adding a Persistent post of 4B, Psalm 119 Intro of Stanzas 1-4. Also, let me clarify that there are places on the 3 blogposts that are meant to be filled as the half quarter (month and a half) proceeds, and the 3A-C blogposts have not been up all that long. So the move to 4A-C up through month 6 will allow more posts as on the site previously, before the new format. Soon adding two Psalm Selects to the Persistent/Introductory Posts on this blogpage. Posted, both Psalms 1 and 15. Now, added posts to pages 2 and 3. This includes 4A Godz Lawl posts in PIP, Persistent/Introductory Posts, and another Godz Lawl post in segment 4A, on the Golden Rule, also in (5) Eternal Express, on Protecting Peace from Ephesians 4-5, and (6) Golden Bellz, on the Salvtuday dayname recommendation from Saltuday. Also, added the 7) article under the CTC Foundational list, actually the original 5th article, Realities of God's Government and Beneficial Standards, and then to (9) Godlove Home, I added the article Aim to Develop True Loyal Love. Misc. updates. 25d.514Prz,f525Sun 8:53 am; 1:15,29,56; 6:29 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Posted 1B-1 so far the Conclusion of the podcast Proper View of God and Life Rewarding, the episode 5 w0834 having become a theme for my campaign, entitled 'Restore Good - Move Forward'. Also, posted this year's entire podcast, the carryover as Winit5to9, w0850-0854, with the theme: 2025 Claim to Presidency. This is under segment (1B) as 1B-3. Also, yesterday's 13th of Month 5 was Thunderday, a day when you more often will hear thunder as from God, realizing He can lend forth His mighty voice to things taking place, as a God of true justice, reminding us of His power, truth, and love. Still there have been interferences, etc.--NOT all storms are from God. Today's 8-Day Calendar day is the second week's Friday, the first week of two being Starzday, for movie-going, etc, with the second being Prayerzday, which begins a four-day or five-day weekend, a day which could also be used for entering court pleas, etc. Prayers of course help all to maintain closeness to God and His Son, and provisions for life. Also, 1A posts, WGA-A, previous. The reference is 1A-2 Previous GA(1A-102-217) on Presidency, Economy, Tariffs, Govt Cuts, etc. This post is originally from the 2025 2/8 START page (blogpost 1), where it (in 2 posts) may still be found. Correction made to most of those individual posts for this page to match the original reference number format, for technical purposes; I will make that change if appropriate on the next blogpost 4A/8A, planning to carry it over. 25d.513Thd,f524Sat 5:31; 6:20-21,39-40; 7:05 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Posted 1A-3 Golden Apples Post, GA(008) On the Number Eight (8). Included as a Latest GA post. Also soon to come, a Psalm 19 rendition. Posted, as latest and Psalms Post 1, numbered 2.1. Updates Psalm 19, note. 25d.512Wnd,f523Fri 9:18-23; 10:15 am; 9:50-53,55,59; 10:27,33,37; 11;11:08-09,59 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've added another post to (1A) WGA-A, after the A-306 from last night, on the Penny news. This one, A-307, is regarding an important lesson from ancient Greece. Again, these are on this blogpost 1 below, under segment 1A (Weekly) Golden Apples. Also now another (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(3.6), chapter 3, verses 31-35, concluding chapter 3. NOTE : Now letting you know I'm planning to fill-in the missing pieces on the 3 blogposts, but possibly just on the new 4A-C/8A-C posts which normally begin from the middle of month 5 through month 6. Most of the work done on 3A-C/8A-C will be carried over into the 4's. Along with adding WGA-A/B posts, planning especially the next 2 days if possible. I could however finish the essentials on the 3A-C's in time for Memorial Day, then carry over most into the 4's to post a day or two later. The reason this may be better is that we, as the United States, should not be ignoring the 8-Day Calendar, which half the world is already on, as a step forward in life, toward a greater world of peace, with God's blessing. After all, it originated here, in the U.S. with God's blessing on me, so why should we consider being the last to begin using it, unless we're helping others to get on it before us, like people getting into lifeboats before the captain of a ship that's slowly sinking, but such an illustration is NOT to apply to us, or in this situation, except for our captains having such genuine concern for those under their care! God's spirit is still with us to straighten things out, and to have a leading role in bringing blessings from God to other countries, even as "one nation under God". Perhaps we may begin thinking in terms of the 8-Day, I could reference the days in an article/post to remind of the purpose of the day, which I believe God is blessing for it's particular purpose that day, whether it's to strengthen our bodies with the right kind of salt intake, or acknowledging that the day might be more windy like today really was here on this Windyday the 12th of the 5th month Agreehelp (Agr). But I realize it would help for me to get where I should, and the true election results regarding the U.S. President to be acknowledged, which was or is not simple due to the AI media control that Donald had over DC, VA, and MD for the last 4-5 years or more, with at least TV, radio, and internet in the region, beginning likely with smaller measures aimed to lessen opposition to his reputation or ideas. Not everyone knew that I was on the ballot in 48 states last November, with much backing across the nation. 25d.511Tro,f522Thu 6:04,07-08,21; 7:11 am; 11:18,53 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added an Introductory/Persistent Post, Aim to Develop True Loyal Love. More work, including WGA-A/B posts today...Initially prayers that food can continue to get into Palestine, where some 11,000 lives of children and adults are currently being threatened daily, and that love and diplomacy, or mindful and peaceable discussion, be the way, rather than more war or violence. Also, other matters of course need attention. Let love and truth prevail again, as it may rest in our hearts and minds. Added to WGA-A the post (A-306), Last Run of the Penny (As We Know It)? Update. 25d.510Mnd,p521Wed 9:08-09 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 3, verses 27-30. 25d.509Rih,p520Tue 6:41,50 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added some GA posts. Posted work from last evening (8B) WGA-B, B-304 post theme: Drive for Clean Energy Can Continue! on blogpost #3. Hoping to be writing again from the real START page, blogpost #1, soon! I'd like to also say, Let's thank God for blessing what we all can do regarding His will, for genuine peace--let's stand for what's true, with God's guidance and love! Some have been seeking their own glory rather than God's, and hurting others in the process, against God's will; May they humble themselves and be honest. We need divine wisdom and God's blessing on all we do! If time, planning to post (4B) Psalm 119 Part 2 of Review within the hour, Stanzas 7-8. Posted! Format update. (25d.504 Wdn, f515 Thu 9:41,50; 10:15-16,23-24,46 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I've posted Part 1 of the (4) Psalm 119 Stanzas 5-8 Review (Stanzas 5-6), with two good stanza/themes. More of something to come...Posted as LATEST Psalm 119, and format updates. Also now, added (7) PR-B(11.1), Proverbs B, chapter 11 verses 1-5 on blogpost 3. Format change. (25d.502 Moo, f513 Tue 9:38,40-41 am; 9:55,58; 10:03-05,10-11; 11:01 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well, again from the Blogpost #2, not the normal messaging/notes post of the START page, blogpost 1. So much to be considering, knowing where I should be and still aiming to be, but also wanting to, within limits, address things this way, to share, offer insight, etc. Plan to make some progress on these posts today, while giving attention to the important things of our nation, etc. Several things came up, but I did review Commandment #4 of the Ten, which I've posted by itself, without numbers 5-7 yet. Looking for getting up the START page and/or more Golden Apples pieces and WGA posts on what's taking place, whether WGA-B or WGA-A (blogpost 1). Formatting update. Update, further. (25d.501 Son, f512 Mon 11:53 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Updated the Commandments 1-3 of the Ten, specifically #1. (25d.434Lun,f511Sun 10:27,38 am; 4:53; 5:41 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Again this is blogpost 2, not the normal start page, but more notesy for now until it's up! I've updated the Ps119, S08 post(s). Also, this ending of the 4th month of the 8-Day Calendar is the Hymneth long weekend, the days to include the 34th actually get switched up, so that the 30th is (Prz) Prayerzday, 31st (Hym) Hymneth, 32nd (Slt) Saltuday, 33rd (Fan) Fanday, and 34th (Lun) Lunaday. Again, the normal progression in a 33-day month is 30th Prz, 31st Slt, 32nd Fan, 33rd Lun. Now the first 3 of the Ten Commandments has been posted, looking to review before posting remainder. Update. (25d.433Fan,f510Sat 8:01; 9:01,44-45 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well again, on this page! Format basically complete for this Blogpost 2, with the Psalm 119 Stanza 8 A and B parts posted as latest segment 4B post and in the 4B list! The Memorial that many anointed ones haven't yet commemorated this year could take place this Monday evening/night (7-Day Cal.) one month following the normal one, after the example of Hezekiah's delayed Passover. Unleavened bread and red wine are symbolic of pure, genuine instruction and the ransom provision, with faith and associated joy of heart that comes with the aim of wisely keeping divine standards. Jehoshua/Jesus said 'until I drink it new with you..." Meetings that discuss the significance of this occasion and provide for both of these provisions figuratively are one way that the Passover statute in God's law that for Christians became the Memorial commemoration ('Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed') can continue to be appreciated and recognized.

Recall addressing you more on this page has been temporary, until completing the new format for all 3 Blogposts, wanting them to display in order, needing to start with the third and work back for this to happen (normally I write most of these notes on Blogpost 1, the START page/post). I've finished with the formatting for this Blogpost 3, and am moving on to the other two! I plan sometime today to have Blogpost 2 started with a Psalm 119 posting from stanza 8, and with it being Saturday on the 7-Day calendar, would recommend the song Back In Time, from the movie Back to the Future, as regards, while being royal, in this case confusion over my election win(s) for President, but getting me where the President should be, especially the true one God is blessing to be so, that I may truly accomplish what the American people voted for me to serve as President and do, looking forward to what God prepared me over much time to be able to do! I've become aware of an adjustment, and am making it, to make two lists on the segment 8, a CTC list and a WGA-B list, rather than mixing them. Complete. (25d.432Fan,f509Fri 8:45,53; 11:46 am; 10:39-40 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! The post of WGA-B, (B-303) now soon to come! Topic is chosen, etc. I apologize again for the delays or the being delayed in various ways, although I aim once again to be more consistent as I had in the past with making posts on thinking and activity. Part of the reason for this has been my continued aims to be where the true U.S. President, blessed by God, should be, as I know many share this important standard that our nation has upheld in most elections throughout it's history! Added the post (B-303), Regarding Department Cuts, Some Excessive...Also posted to Seg.8 LIST (25d.430 Prz,f507 Wed 7:13,15,19 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! (25d.428Wnd,f505Mon 9:01,53; 10:13 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Adding the CTC article, fully: Issue after Issue Being Addressed by God's Kingdom: Prejudice and Racism. Added to the CTC Foundational articles with the inserted one mentioned previously, helping see the place of government in relation to God and His Kingdom. Also, I've posted one of the Persistent Posts, a CTC on Proper View of Law(l). (25/421Hvn,428Mon 3:27,53; 7:05 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! I know this is blogpost 3, but I'm in the process of preparing to post all 3, and I wanted this third one posted first, so that it appears third in the list after the other two are up. I went ahead and included a few posts on this page, including another (7) Proverbs B (ch 11-20), from chapter 10, verses 28-32, the conclusion of that chapter. Also, the CTC Foundational articles I've been intending to post for a while now, but which were on a previous post from last year, I'm also posting. The CTC Corner (Come to Consensus Corner) Startup post is included, as well as now four of the first 5 articles/policies. There is another newer article I've planned to include among this grouping, believing it's more helpful now to underscore some important things relating God's interest and much-needed blessing on good government, to maintain civilized society, often taken for granted. Up to 4 CTC articles!

Had a technical issue I believe is now resolved, which slowed me some on the blog while at the same time I was focused on accomplishing other things and still am--I do apologize for the blog delay. I'm working on the new full set of blogposts 1-3, segments 1-9 as previous. All three blogposts are to have a similar format to this one, despite the varying subject matter. I did update the first two articles under Christianity, and am about to add something else to the second article, The Basics. (25/410Min,417Thu, 10:10 am; 5:30 pm EDT) Hello, wishing you well again! Added to the 10 Points with explanation of the change from LGBTQ+ to simply LGTQ, still to be addressing this important issue. It may actually be that simply 3 letters will suffice for the abbreviation, as in GTQ, as Gay had come to represent both male and female gender conditions. This could also possibly be TGQ. (25/408Fwn,p415Tue, 8:20 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added new Proverbs A segment of chapter 3, PR-A(3.4), verses 19-26. I apologize that getting the entire blog up as usual, but with the updated format, is taking time. Still looking to God, asking for prayers, for things to be right, to take place as they should, for everyone's benefit! (25/405Hvn,p412Sat, 7:18-19 pm EDT) Hello! Memorial night, like true Passover, but of Christ's death, the literal and the figurative. You might reflect on the meaning, and read a chapter, perhaps Luke 22, or more, considering lessons. Love of God and His wonderful power and purpose toward mankind, a beautiful and peace-loving world, is made possible! Have faith in the Son, the ransom for forgiveness of sins, and aim for the target of righteousness in your decisions, to honor God and reflect divine wisdom in how you do things, contributing to His will! {Recall that truly anointed ones are to be in attendance to partake, and all were to commemorate on Passover night, honoring God and Christ. Paul also said "As often as" you do this, which can indicate allowance for another month's observance, at least occasionally. It could well be that as anointed ones all reached their new heavenly position, in the secondary application, that the commemoration could consistently involve and recognize a figurative or emblematic eating of spiritual bread, or life-sustaining instruction, as well as drinking of spiritual wine, recognizing Christ's sacrifice and also the rejoicing that wine scripturally signifies, true happiness being made possible with proper understanding and application of God's word and Christianity.} (25/404Wdn,p411Fri, 11:37-38,41 am; 3:27,35 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well again.
