PSALM 119 PREVIEW STANZAS 12-15

* Indicates Review Text, ** Indicates Also Final Review Text

STANZA 12 Theme: GOD’S WORD AND LAW PRESERVE SPIRITUAL AND ETERNAL LIFE.

These verses emphasize God’s faithfulness as well as fondness for God’s law and it’s preservation value. What can help us not to forget God’s orders, as the psalmist mentioned was his determination?

*89 Forever, O Jehovoe, Your word will remain in the heavens.
90 Your faithfulness is through all generations. You have firmly established the earth, so that it continues to stand.
91 By your judgements they remain until today, For they are all your servants.
*92 If I had not been fond of your law, I would have perished in my hardship.

*93 I will never forget your orders, Because by them you have preserved me alive.
**94 I belong to you; save me, Because I have searched for your orders.
95 The devious wait to destroy me, But I give close attention to your reminders.
96 I have seen a limit to all perfection, But your commandment has no limit.

STANZA 13 Theme: KEEP GOD'S WORD.

What are three aspects of divine wisdom, and how are they beneficial? Why was the psalmist motivated to avoid evil, and how does obeying God deepen our wisdom?

**97 How I do love your law! I ponder over it all day long.
98 Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, Because it is with me forever.
**99 I have more insight than all my teachers, Because I ponder over your reminders.
*100 I act with more understanding than older men, Because I observe your orders.

*101 I refuse to walk on any evil path, So that I may keep your word.
102 I do not turn aside from your judgements, For you have instructed me.
103 How sweet your sayings are to my palate, More so than honey to my mouth!
104 By your orders I act with understanding. That is why I hate every false path.

STANZA 14 Theme: GOD CAN PRESERVE US THROUGH TIMES OF PERIL, WHILE HIS REMINDERS BRING JOY.

Like the psalmist, we may come to view God’s reminders with great joy. How does God’s word serve as a lamp and a light, how has God proven to be a Savior?

*105 Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path.
106 I have sworn an oath, and I will carry it out, To observe your righteous judgements.
107 I have been greatly troubled. O Jehovoe, preserve me alive according to your word.
108 Please take pleasure in my voluntary offerings of praise, O Jehovoe, And teach me your judgements.

**109 My life is in constant danger, But I have not forgotten your law.
110 The devious have set a trap for me, But I have not strayed from your orders.
**111 I take your reminders as my permanent possession, For they are the joy of my heart.
112 I have resolved to obey your instructions At all times, down to the last.

STANZA 15 Theme: REMAIN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF GOD’S JUDGEMENTS.

What determination by the psalmist to lovingly obey God! How can we avoid half-heartedness, and how does a proper motive aid us to keep God’s law?

*113 I dislike the half-hearted ones, But I love your law.
114 You are my shelter and my shield, For your word is my hope.
115 Stay away from me, you evil men, So that I may observe the commandments of my God.
116 Support me as you promised, So that I may keep living; Do not let my hope turn into disappointment.

117 Support me that I may be saved; Then I will always concentrate on your instructions.
**118 You reject all those who stray from your instructions, For they are false and deceitful.
*119 You discard all the devious of the earth as if they were unworthy dross. That is why I love your reminders.
120 The dread of you makes my body tremble; I am in awe of your judgements.

Thus considering this portion of the psalm helps us see the benefit of highly valuing God's law, His word, His saving power, and His good and righteous judgements.

_____Ps119[2]

Psalm 119 Stanza 12

The theme for stanza 12 is:

GOD’S WORD AND LAW PRESERVE SPIRITUAL AND ETERNAL LIFE.

Verses 89-92 read: "Forever, O Jehovoe, Your word will remain in the heavens. 90 Your faithfulness is through all generations. You have firmly established the earth, so that it continues to stand. 91 By your judgements they remain until today, For they are all your servants. 92 If I had not been fond of your law, I would have perished in my hardship."

89 Forever, O Jehovoe, Your word will remain in the heavens.

GOD’S LASTING WORD. (:89) Isaiah 40:8 says "The green grass dries up,The blossom withers, But the word of our God endures forever.” God's word supplies us the universal standards by which all should be governed throughout eternity--the way of genuine peace, happiness, and unity. The Bible has been compared to a loving letter from a Father to His children. It is ever the "elusive" instruction manual for humanity, and all those with ruling authority among mankind do well to consider it's wisdom in their governance.

90 Your faithfulness is through all generations. You have firmly established the earth, so that it continues to stand.

EARTH NOT SIMPLY 'TESTING GROUND.' (:90) Is planet Earth just a "testing ground" that will soon literally be burned up and destroyed so that all faithful ones can live in heaven with God? Would such an idea really make sense? Some are taking a few verses literally without considering the entirety of Scripture. This view is out of harmony with God's stated purpose for mankind and this earth. The term "earth" is used scripturally to refer, not only to the planet itself, but often exclusively to the people upon it, and their arrangement for living. And the heavens, at times, refer to rulership. For instance, Genesis 11:1 says "Now all the earth continued to be of one language and of one set of words." Thus, when 2Peter 3:5-13 speaks of the 'heavens passing away' and the 'elements being dissolved' this has reference to an overriding ungodly rulership or way of ruling and unrighteous evildoers and arrangements. If rulers respond to recognize the value of applying God's standards to their rule, benefitting their own people, might this be one way of an old heaven passing away? 2Peter 3:13 says "But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to His promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell." Jehovoe spent way too much time creating the heavens and earth for mankind's happiness to bring it to such a ruin. While some humans may ultimately reject God's rulership, His faithfulness is leading mankind to turn from wrongdoing, as He "does not desire anyone to be eliminated, but desires all to attain to repentance." (2PETer 3:9).

91 By your judgements they remain until today, For they are all your servants.

OUR ULTIMATE BENEFIT. (:91) "They" has reference to the former objects highlighted, God's "word" and "the earth," "firmly established." They remain, as God's righteous judgements have supported God's purpose to safeguard both. For instance, 2Peter 3:8 says "one day is with Jehovoe as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." The first man Adam died within the 1000 year day of his living, as God said "the day" he ate from the tree he would die, his life span being 930 years (GENes 5:5). Evidently, mankind's life span would gradually come to have a natural limit of 120 years, as God's judgement came after mankind had "ruined it's way" morally in Noah's day. (GENes 6:3). Of course, it is also God's judgement that upright ones come to have an endless lifespan! So God's judgements are ultimately for our everlasting benefit and happiness. Such judgements of God are "all [God's] servants" in the sense that they all serve for His good purpose, encouraging the advancement of God's will. Proverbs 16:4, for instance, says "Jehovoe has made everything work for his purpose."

92 If I had not been fond of your law, I would have perished in my hardship.

NEED FOR GOD’S LOVING LAW. (:92) Once again, the psalmist reminds us of the importance of loving God's law, appreciating it's value in our everyday life. He is convinced that, without it, he would not have made it through times of difficulty. Likewise today, many dangers exist in the world, both physically and spiritually. It is "spiritual death" that could cause one to lose out on eternal life. How we need God's loving law to help guide our steps safely through this world, into the "real life." (1TImo 6:19). Even in the new world, God's law serves as a guide as one grows to tell right from wrong, and gain greater wisdom to fully grasp the reasons for the laws God has set for our eternal welfare and happiness.

_____Ps119[3]

STANZA 12 Theme:

GOD’S LAW AND WORD PRESERVE SPIRITUAL AND ETERNAL LIFE.

The verses of stanza 12 emphasize God’s faithfulness as well as fondness for God’s law and it’s preservation value. What can help us not to forget God’s orders, as the psalmist mentioned was his determination?
STANZA 12B, verses 93-96

93 I will never forget your orders, Because by them you have preserved me alive.
94 I belong to you; save me, Because I have searched for your orders.
95 The ungodly wait to destroy me, But I give close attention to your reminders.
96 I have seen a limit to all perfection, But your commandment has no limit.

93 I will never forget your orders, Because by them you have preserved me alive.

CAREFULLY KEEP THEM! Clearly, for the psalmist not to forget God’s orders, he had to be familiar with them. According to the next verse, he had “searched for [God’s] orders,” and no doubt discovered them. As obeying them saved his life, likely multiple times, his appreciation for them must have deepened. Even if our life is not physically threatened as much as the psalmist, spiritual hazards abound. By heeding divine orders to guard against bad associations and to hate what is bad, for instance, we may allow God to guard our spiritual lives and eternal life prospects. (1COri 15:33; PROve 13:20; PSalm 97:10). Like the psalmist, search for God’s orders in His word, especially those from Christ, review them often, and carefully keep them! (PSAlm 119:4).

94 I belong to you; save me, Because I have searched for your orders.

ENDURANCE NOT SIMPLY 'SURVIVING.' The psalmist was born into a nation dedicated to God. Still, according to the psalmist, searching for God’s orders in order to keep or obey them provided a basis for salvation by Him. Jehosha spoke in a similar way. After discussing many of the hardships that may be encountered by his disciples during the “last days,” he said at Matthew 24:13 “But the one who has endured to the end will be saved.” Such endurance is not simply “surviving,” but rather enduring trials faithfully to God, with integrity to Him, in harmony with His law. Just as receiving a license to drive a vehicle does not give us the right to drive any unsafe way we wish on the street, so having the ransom of Christ does not give us the right to violate God’s laws haphazardly. We should especially strive to carefully keep God’s orders, and appreciate His reminders in other areas of life, then the ransom sacrifice can cover our occasional misses, usually for more minor mistakes. As we do so, we “draw close to God,” and we may especially ‘belong to Him,’ as we prove to be loyal.

95 The ungodly wait to destroy me, But I give close attention to your reminders.

VITAL REMINDERS FROM GOD. Thus this future king had enemies seeking to bring him to ruin, but paid “close attention” to reminders from God. Such reminders, which we may for instance receive at regular meetings for worship, may bring back to mind God’s orders, or other matters of lesser importance. Still, obedience in a seemingly small matter might still save one’s life, at least spiritually speaking. Jehosha taught the importance of obedience even in the smaller things, at Luke 16:10, saying: “10 The person faithful in what is least is faithful also in much, and the person unrighteous in what is least is unrighteous also in much.” Can you think of a Bible command or principle that many take lightly, or completely ignore, but that could have an impact on a person spiritually? Many in recent times have been blinded spiritually, being taught to worship almost anything but the Creator, Jehovoe. They are still unaware of the untold happiness and blessings that come with loving and serving God obediently, perhaps instead believing that “ignorance is bliss.” Selfish pursuits only supply a fake happiness, that leaves one empty and unsatisfied. The greater happiness, Jehosha said, is in giving, rather than in receiving. (ACTs 20:35). Jehovoe invited Israel to test Him out, in Malachi’s day, regarding their obedience to giving the required tithe, or tenth for true worship. Notice His words, at Malachi 3:10: “10 Bring the entire tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house; and test me out, please, in this regard,” Jehovoe of armies says, “to see whether I will not open to you the floodgates of the heavens and pour out on you a blessing until there is nothing lacking.” Such a tithe, even among Christians, respects Jacob's oath to God (GENes 28:10-22). Still, for others, whatever they can give can represent their best to Jehovoe. As in times past, a church or congregation itself may respect God in similar ways. May we grow in faith, or deep trust, in God’s ability to make His servants happy! Jehovoe Himself says: “Look! My servants will shout joyfully because of the good condition of the heart...” (ISAiah 65:13-14). Let us choose to serve Jehovoe wholeheartedly, having faith that He “becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking Him.” (HEBre 11:6).

96 I have seen a limit to all perfection, But your commandment has no limit.

SUPERIORITY OF GOD’S WISDOM. Truly, that which seems perfect from man’s perspective, the psalmist found to have it’s limitations. God’s commandment was different. God’s instructions are not limited in the way that man’s are. As God told the wayward nation of Israel in Isaiah’s time: “8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, And your ways are not my ways,” declares Jehovoe. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So my ways are higher than your ways And my thoughts than your thoughts.” (ISAiah 55:8-9). Thus, God’s ways are not limited as man’s own ways are. The guidance found in God’s word can help us in practically every situation we face. God’s wisdom is therefore far superior.

_____Ps119[4]

PSALM 119 STANZA 13A

STANZA 13 Theme: KEEP GOD'S WORD.

The 8 verses of this stanza address questions such as these: What are three aspects of divine wisdom, and how are they beneficial? Why was the psalmist motivated to avoid evil, and how does obeying God deepen our wisdom?

Stanza 13A reads like this:
97 How I do love your law! I ponder over it all day long.
98 Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, Because it is with me forever.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers, Because I ponder over your reminders.
100 I act with more understanding than older men, Because I observe your orders.

97 How I do love your law! I ponder over it all day long.

IN PRACTICALLY EVERY SITUATION. The psalmist is clearly motivated to obey God, wanting to please Him by living in accord with His law. Jehovoe’s law clearly reflects His own values and standards—loving and keeping it therefore helps us draw close to Him. But how can the psalmist have the time to “ponder over it all day long?” What does he mean by this? Rather than engaging in constant study or prayer, he realizes that God’s word gives us advice or principles to apply in practically every situation we face or meet in life. Thus, “all day long” as we seek God's view and way in every situation, God’s law can guide and help us, so that we may more and more handle situations in a successful way that is pleasing to God and all involved. Proverbs 3:5-6 puts it this way: “5 Trust in Jehovoe with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding. 6 Please Him in all your ways, And he will make your paths straight.” Thus, look for God’s view, or way, in every situation you face, remaining humble before Him and others.

98 Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, Because it is with me forever.

DEEP APPRECIATION. Once again we find that God’s law or commandment, now especially through Christ, is the way of eternal peace and happiness! As we’ve seen, the psalmist has come to love, live, and breathe God’s law, appreciating it as priceless and now confident that it will be with him forever. Have we yet developed such appreciation? Notice as Proverbs 3 continues, with verses 7-8, NKJV: “Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.” Confident in the wisdom of God’s word and law/lall, one should continue to trust in God and His word more than oneself or any wisdom already acquired. Doing so, may God lead and guide us successfully through any difficulties, as we thankfully rely upon Him with prayer.

99 I have more insight than all my teachers, Because I ponder over your reminders.

ALWAYS GOOD REASON. One aspect of divine wisdom is “insight.” This is empathy at work, to comprehend a given situation. Proverbs 19:11 says this: “11 The insight of a man certainly slows down his anger, And it is beauty on his part to overlook an offense.” Such applied empathy enables us to grasp why someone perhaps offended us the way they did, slowing down any anger that we might have begun to experience. The psalmist has developed such keen insight by pondering over God’s “reminders.” When we’re reminded about some order or command from God, are we in the habit of “pondering” the reasons for it, in harmony with God’s love for humanity? Does not Jehovoe always have good reason for His laws in keeping with what is true, right, just, and fair for all? (Prove 21:3; Psalm 98:9). May we develop such a habit to ask Why? God instructs us as He does, confident in His overriding love for us in all His good guidance. (1John 4:8).

100 I act with more understanding than older men, Because I observe your orders.

DISCERN GOD'S ORDERS FOR GREATER WISDOM. Two more aspects of divine wisdom are "discernment" and “understanding.” These are vital to fully grasp God’s law and apply it in all aspects of life. This is a key text, as it shows a way to grow in understanding is by searching for, and following God’s orders, or most serious and urgent commands. This requires discernment, to see differences between things, such as right and wrong, true and false, and serious commands from lesser ones. This helps motivate any understanding in the right way, to apply it successfully with love. Understanding involves seeing the big picture of something, along with all it’s pieces, and how they fit together to make the whole of it, especially as regards God's will and matters of spirit. This is important when it comes to comprehending God’s law in a matter. Recently we considered as an example the understanding needed to safely operate a motor vehicle. Several laws and principles can and should be understood and kept to make the necessary decisions to drive well. The process of learning to drive properly thus aids development of understanding. Love of God and neighbor should be primary motivations in doing so, to do so safely. Learning to observe God’s orders enabled the psalmist to act with great understanding. May we give attention especially to God’s commands through Christ, discerning the difference between the most serious of commands, and those of lesser importance. We should keep them all, but seek awareness of the most serious and urgent ones, such as the Ten Commandments written on stone tablets. This will help us be much wiser in making good decisions each day.

_____PS119[5]

PSALM 119 COMMENTARY

STANZA 13 Theme: KEEP GOD'S WORD.

PSALM 119 (5PS13) STANZA 13B

Stanza 13B reads like this:
101 I refuse to walk on any wrong path, So that I may keep your word.
102 I do not turn aside from your judgements, For you have instructed me.
103 How sweet your sayings are to my palate, More so than honey to my mouth!
104 By your orders I act with understanding. That is why I hate every false path.

101 I refuse to walk on any wrong path, So that I may keep your word.

REALLY PLEASING GOD. Recall the psalmist said in verse 97 that he loved God’s law, loving obedience to Him. He had acquired the discernment to see the difference between right and wrong, good and bad, true and false, and so on. Largely by God’s word he came to recognize a wrong path, or at least knew when a path was out of harmony with God’s will, refusing to walk on it. Notice he was not enticed to disobey or hurt Jehovoe in any way—wanting only to keep God’s word. He also expresses this later when he readily tells evil men to stay away from him that he may observe the commandments of his God (v.115). May we come to feel as the psalmist about pleasing our loving God, Jehovoe!

102 I do not turn aside from your judgements, For you have instructed me.

TAUGHT BY JEHOVOE. God’s “judgements” are decisions or evaluations made by examining an issue in truth according to His law. Psalm 19:9 speaks of the awe of God and His judgements: “9 The fear of Jehovoe is pure, lasting forever. The judgements of Jehovoe are true, altogether righteous.” Regarding what can be learned from them, Isaiah says at 26:9, “9 In the night I long for you with my whole being, Yes, my spirit keeps looking for you; For when there are judgements from you for the earth, The inhabitants of the land learn about righteousness.” Isaiah was a prophet commissioned to declare God’s word and judgements to Israel, even those regarding other nations. Thus when Jehovoe judges a people or a nation, much can be learned by everyone about God’s right ways, and what’s required by Him. The psalmist was moved to acknowledge God’s judgements because he had been instructed by Jehovoe, as Isaiah 54:13 says of God’s servants: “13 And all your sons will be taught by Jehovoe, And the peace of your sons will be abundant.” Jesus or Jo'sha continues this thought, saying at John 6:45: “...Everyone who has listened to the Father and has learned comes to me.” May we likewise appreciate and heed God’s right and wise judgements or decisions, ever pleasing Him, fearing to pain Him in any way.

103 How sweet your sayings are to my palate, More so than honey to my mouth!

TREASURE SAYINGS OF GOD. What we learn from God can be compared to food, vital for sustaining life! In fact, Jesus/Josha opened his famous Sermon on the Mount with these words: “3 “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the Kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.” We have a need spiritually just as we have a physical need for life-sustaining water and food. He also emphasized this when being tempted, saying at Matthew 4:4 “...It is written: ‘Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every word that comes from Jehovoe’s mouth.’” Jesus/Josha was the word of God, a spokesman for Him, and how disciples appreciated the words spoken by him about his Father and the doing of His will. Such sayings of God may become delightful to us, like real honey from the honeycomb, usually beneficial to us! (Prove 24:13). May we treasure the wisdom of God found in His beneficial sayings as largely recorded in His word, and come to live by them!

104 By your orders I act with understanding. That is why I hate every false path.

GOD'S ORDERS PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING. More than just avoiding an evil path out of love for God, the psalmist came to “hate every false path.” Psalm 97:10 accordingly says: “10 O you who love Jehovoe, hate what is bad. He is guarding the lives of his loyal ones; He rescues them from the hand of the crooked.” By coming to know some of the harm of badness, the reasons God warns us against certain things, we can be helped to develop a beneficial hatred for all such badness. Clearly, He warns us from bad out of great love for us, to protect us from spiritual or other harm. But notice, the psalmist came to hate a false path by giving attention to God’s orders, and coming to act with understanding. May we likewise search out God’s most important and urgent commands, that we may keep them whole-heartedly, growing in wisdom and gaining the understanding necessary to see problems associated with false or dishonest ways of no lasting benefit.

_____Ps119[6]

PSALM 119 STANZA 14A

STANZA 14 Theme: GOD CAN PRESERVE US THROUGH TIMES OF PERIL, WHILE HIS REMINDERS BRING JOY.

The 8 verses of stanza 14 include thoughts such as these: Like the psalmist, we may come to view God’s reminders with great joy. How does God’s word serve as a lamp and a light, how has God proven to be a Savior?

105 Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path.

105 Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path.

BE GUIDED BY GOD'S WORD. It was the prophet Jeremiah who was inspired by God to pen the words of Jeremiah 10:23, saying: “23 I well know, O Jehovoe, that man’s way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.” We want to rely on Jehovoe as we “walk with God,” willing to let Him guide our steps. Of course we have free will, and can choose our course in life, for Jehovoe is a God of freedom! But man was not designed to decide for himself what is good and what is bad, what is right and what is wrong. This belongs to Jehovoe God. Thus, Proverbs 16:9 says: “ 9 A man may plot out his course in his heart, But it is Jehovoe who directs his steps.” God’s word is therefore a “lamp” to our foot, to allow us to see the next step we should take. And more than that, it can light our path ahead, helping us see down the road, alerting us to what may be coming in the distance. God’s prophetic word does give warning, often with history written in advance! May we look to God and His word for guidance in life, leading humanity to the success of God’s loving will and good purpose!

106 I have sworn an oath, and I will carry it out, To observe your righteous judgements.

LEARN FROM AND KEEP GOD'S JUDGEMENTS. Genuine decisions from God should be appreciated as made in harmony with His law and will, and in line with truth. The psalmist had such confidence in them that he made a solemn vow to recognize and support Jehovoe’s judgements. Really, we stand in awe of God’s power and righteous decisions manifest throughout man’s history. The judgements God made in times past are written in God’s word for mankind to learn from, so as not to repeat history. Even some of the wrong desires manifest by Israel were recorded as a warning, as expressed in 1Corinthians 10:6-11. Verses 6,11 say: “6 Now these things became examples for us, in order for us not to desire injurious things, as they desired them...11 Now these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for a warning to us upon whom the ends of the systems of things have come.” They were not to worship idols, desire pleasure above God, or murmur against His exercise of authority, for instance. We, too, should appreciate that God, and no human, is the giver of “every good gift and every perfect present.” Should we not love the Creator even more than what He has created? We can love both, but certainly Jehovoe, as the God of love, deserves the first place in our heart! May we be determined to keep God first, and greatly respect His righteous judgements!

107 I have been greatly troubled. O Jehovoe, preserve me alive according to your word.

ACCEPT COUNSEL OF GOD'S WORD. Another translation says “I have suffered much...” Have you been through difficult trials like the psalmist? If we rely upon God, He can carry us through. What benefit would there be to ignoring God and striking out on our own, as if we can get through without His help? He wants to help us, and how we need His guidance! His word really can help us know how to handle various situations that may arise in our life, to make good, healthy decisions leading to success. We need to study carefully the teachings of Josha, such as the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7, and the wisdom of God found throughout His word, in the law given through Moses, and especially in the Christian writings as well as books such as Proverbs and Psalms. As we grow in wisdom, which we can ask God for, we will often know the right decision to make, also as we receive God’s help in prayer.

108 Please take pleasure in my voluntary offerings of praise, O Jehovoe, And teach me your judgements.

EXPRESS ADMIRATION OF GOD AND HIS WAYS. For all the benefits God brings to us, in His goodness, we can offer to Him our whole-hearted devotion and praise. Jehovoe takes pleasure in such, as we express appreciation for Him with thanksgiving for His good gifts and love exercised toward us. Pleading that God find pleasure in such expressions, the psalmist also requests to be taught God’s judgements, or judicial decisions. As highlighted in an earlier verse, God’s judgements enable all to learn of God’s right ways and standards—what’s required by Him. Thus, God’s beneficial ways and standards can themselves be objects of our praise and admiration, by which God enables mankind to live happily and peaceably into eternity! May we ever appreciate God’s loving intervention in mankind’s activities, to assist us in accord with His good will and purpose, trusting His righteous judgements!

PSALM 119 STANZA 14B

STANZA 14 Theme: GOD CAN PRESERVE US THROUGH TIMES OF PERIL, WHILE HIS REMINDERS BRING JOY.

Stanza 14B reads like this:

109 My life is in constant danger, But I have not forgotten your law.
110 The wrongful have set a trap for me, But I have not strayed from your orders.
111 I take your reminders as my permanent possession, For they are the joy of my heart.
112 I have resolved to obey your instructions At all times, down to the last.

109 My life is in constant danger, But I have not forgotten your law.

JEHOVOE KNOWS HOW. Jehovoe, the Creator of mankind and this entire universe, certainly has tremendous power—has He used it to save His servants out of peril? Look at examples from history—such as God’s display of loyalty and power at the Red Sea, parting the waters for His people to escape! God lovingly ensured the safety of faithful ones that He brought out of Egyptian bondage, as they journeyed over the seabed while Egypt’s army unwisely went in pursuit, God fighting against them, for example by removing wheels from their chariots. God’s people all safely reached the other side, before He released the waters to have them destroy the warriors who had witnessed His great power in Egypt. (Exodus 14). Do you see in the account any weaker ones who got left behind, who didn’t make it? Still, they needed to follow God’s instructions, as the psalmist did not forget God’s law. 2Peter 2 says: “9 So, then, Jehovoe knows how to rescue people of godly devotion out of trial, but to reserve unrighteous people to be destroyed on the day of judgement.” May all work on cultivating a close relationship with God, as “9 Jehovoe is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to perish but desires all to attain to repentance.“

110 The wrongful have set a trap for me, But I have not strayed from your orders.

OBEDIENCE TO GOD VITAL. The psalmist expresses the role of God’s orders in saving him from traps of evil ones. May we be ever determined to abide by Jehovoe’s most serious and urgent commands, especially as revealed through Christ. The disciples of Josha' set an example in this, in the first century C.E. He had commissioned them to share with others the divine knowledge about Christ and God’s Kingdom, as at Matthew 28:18-20. They were persecuted for doing so, being told not to speak about Josha', after his impalement (and resurrection.) Acts 5:27-29 reports: “27 So they brought them and stood them before the Sanʹhe·drin. Then the high priest questioned them 28 and said: “We strictly ordered you not to keep teaching on the basis of this name, and yet look! you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you are determined to bring the blood of this man upon us.” 29 In answer Peter and the other apostles said: “We must obey God as ruler rather than men.” After debate, the account continues: “40 At this they took his advice, and they summoned the apostles, flogged them, and ordered them to stop speaking on the basis of Josha’s name, and let them go. 41 So they went out from before the Sanʹhe·drin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy to be dishonored in behalf of his name. 42 And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Josha'.” May we trust God’s saving power, especially for our eternal life, as we obey God’s orders for true Christians.

111 I take your reminders as my permanent possession, For they are the joy of my heart.

APPRECIATE THEM DEEPLY. How we rejoice when we’ve recently been reminded of something that proved helpful to us in an important decision or situation we’ve faced! It is deeply satisfying to know what to do to please Jehovoe as we face decisions each day. Growing in godly wisdom helps us to know and not fret over such decisions, and life becomes more and more delightful, handling things successfully. Paying attention to reminders from God, which may come by reading His word personally, attending meetings where God’s word is read or discussed, or by association with those of genuine faith, can help us maintain a healthy routine in life, seeking first both God’s kingdom and His righteousness, or integrity to Him. (Matth 6:33). As the psalmist, may we come to delight in God’s reminders, seeking to understand them more fully rather than viewing them as mundane. Let them come to be “the joy of [our] heart!”

112 I have resolved to obey your instructions At all times, down to the last.

DOWN TO THE LAST. The detailed guidance God provides in His instructions or “regulations” (guidelines that regulate our activities) the psalmist was determined to keep “at all times.” He was not about to violate God’s law in any way. Then he adds, “down to the last.” Another translation reads “to the very end.” The psalmist may be using this expression with a dual meaning. As he recently stated that his life was in constant danger, he may have considered that no matter how close to death he came, he would trust God’s law, even His detailed instructions. Of course, God preserved the psalmist alive, and wants us to faithfully live into His righteous new world of peace and happiness. Also, as they involved details of procedure, he was willing to follow God’s instructions carefully, even to the last detail. May we not confuse God’s instructions or "regulations" with laws made without God’s assistance or guidance, that are out of harmony with God’s word or will. Should we really follow detailed instructions that cause us to disobey God’s clear law and orders? Jesus stated a principle, at Matthew 22: “21...“Pay back, therefore, Caesar’s things to Caesar, but God’s things to God.” Specifically, the paying of taxes to Caesar was being discussed, which Josha' showed was right to those duly authorized. It is to the true God, Jehovoe, that we owe our life, and therefore our devotion. But He has placed rulers with authority in their “relative positions,” beneath Him. (Romans 13:1-4). We are instructed by God to follow their law in every way, as long as it does not violate God’s law, as we look forward to God’s Kingdom rulership through Christ.

PSALM 119 STANZA 15A

STANZA 15 Theme: REMAIN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF GOD'S JUDGEMENTS.

The 8 verses of stanza 15 express thoughts such as these: What determination by the psalmist to lovingly obey God! How can we avoid half-heartedness, and how does a proper motive aid us to keep God’s law?

Stanza 15A is this:
113 I love less the halfhearted ones, But I love your law.
114 You are my shelter and my shield, For your word is my hope.
115 Stay away from me, you evil men, So that I may observe the commandments of my God.
116 Support me as you promised, So that I may keep living; Do not let my hope turn into disappointment.

113 I love less the halfhearted ones, But I love your law.

AIM TO LOVE THE GIVER EVEN MORE THAN HIS GIFTS. The Hebrew expression often translated “hate” can also mean to “love less." Still, the psalmist seems to be contrasting his feelings for half-hearted ones with those for God’s law. Evidence abounds of God’s tremendous love for us as humans—how could we give our greatest love, the first place in our hearts, to anyone else? Half-hearted ones may go through the motions of serving God, but their hearts are really elsewhere. They need to ponder the gifts from God we each receive daily, including every breath, and worship the Giver, rather than worship any of these gifts themselves. The psalmist recognized God’s law as one of His greatest gifts, and expressed his appreciation for it, desiring to express his love for God by keeping His law. As 1John 5:3 says, “3 For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome.” While we seek to encourage half-hearted ones to love God more fully, we need to guard our close associations, longing to maintain God’s favor first, along with those properly revering God and keeping His commandments, which makes possible genuine peace, love, and truly an eventual end to hateful strife. (1COri 15:33; PROve 13:20; PSalm 37:11).

114 You are my shelter and my shield, For your word is my hope.

DEEP TRUST AND HOPE IN GOD'S WORD. Jehovoe’s word promises at least spiritual protection for His genuine servants, along with the gift of eternal life and happiness. We need to seek the honor of God’s name, representing Him well, seeking fully to live in harmony with His word. Spiritual traps and dangers have abounded in this world, but God can support us, our spiritual well-being, and our relationships with Him and, at least eventually, other God-fearing ones. Some may be protected physically, especially as God’s kingdom increases, as Jesus said to Martha, at John 11: “26 and everyone who is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all. Do you believe this?” Thus, faith, or thankful trust in God and His firstborn Son, are vital for our spiritual and eternal lives. God certainly can be a shelter and a shield in a world of hardships, as we maintain our hope in God’s word, like the psalmist.

115 Stay away from me, you evil men, So that I may observe the commandments of my God.

THROUGH THE GATES OF GOD'S KINGDOM. What determination to love God! God said, in the first recorded prophecy in His word to mankind, that He would put enmity, or strife, between the offspring of His Seed, and that of the serpent, or Satan. (GENes 3:15). Now we see evil men trying to interfere with the psalmist’s strong desire to remain loyal to God by keeping all of His commandments. May we be wary of such tricks by wrongdoers, who do not yet appreciate God or His love as we do. Yes, Jesus or Josha came into the world “to save sinners,” but such ones need to show genuine sorrow over their past sins, and turn around from a wrong course to become obedient from the heart to God’s ways, to find real hope of permitted entry through the gate of God’s Kingdom. If there is some way to correct a past mistake, or "set things straight," this may also be necessary. Rather than stumbling others away from serving God, we need to help and support others to obey God and His Son. (MATth 25:31-46). Perhaps, then, in God’s compassion and mercy, with the ransom provision, such lives may be spared.

116 Support me as you promised, So that I may keep living; Do not let my hope turn into disappointment.

HOPE OF LIFE A GREAT COMFORT. Evidently, God had promised this future king David that He would be supported to fulfill His role, despite hardships experienced. What confidence this inspired in the psalmist! He held fast to this hope, as he endured difficulty after difficulty. He looked to God for support, as he sought to keep God’s law completely. Our hope of eternal life likewise can be a source of great comfort to us through difficulties or hardships. Psalm 34:19 says “19 Many are the hardships of the upright one, But Jehovoe rescues him from them all.” As we learn to keep integrity to God, our hope becomes ever brighter, and more complete. Still, eternal life is a gift from God that no one earns. (ROMans 6:23). But genuine faith, or thankful trust, in God and the ransom of Christ makes possible true righteousness, learning to please God in all situations, keeping integrity to Him. We can pray for God’s wisdom to see things properly. May we continue to always aim for the target of obedience, letting the ransom cover our occasional unintended misses. We can thus find joy as we reflect on God’s commands, with confident hope in God’s loving gift of eternal life and happiness!

_____Ps119[9]

PSALM 119 STANZA 15B

STANZA 15 Theme: REMAIN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF GOD'S JUDGEMENTS.

The 8 verses of stanza 15 express thoughts such as these: What determination by the psalmist to lovingly obey God! How can we avoid half-heartedness, and how does a proper motive aid us to keep God’s law?

Stanza 15B reads like this:

117 Support me that I may be saved; Then I will always concentrate on your instructions.

118 You reject all those who stray from your instructions, For they are false and deceitful.

119 You discard all the wicked of the earth as if they were worthless dross. That is why I love your reminders.

120 The dread of you makes my body tremble; I am in fear of your judgements.

117 Support me that I may be saved; Then I will always concentrate on your instructions.

FINDING JOY IN GOD'S INSPIRED WORD. God's word teaches all to have a healthy view of life, viewing life as sacred. As the psalmist earlier revealed, his life was “in constant danger.” He pleads now for God’s support that he “may be saved.” While the psalmist David has not forgotten God’s law, he is not able to give it the attention he would like, as a future king. Proverbs 16:10 says, for instance: “10 Inspired decision should be on the lips of a king; He must never betray justice.” Thus he expresses his desire to concentrate on the instructive guidance God has given in the Law, so as to follow it carefully and, perhaps, to ensure others understand it accurately so as to keep it as well. While still finding joy in God’s reminders, how he hopes in becoming free of constant enemy opposition, as God may have promised him, so as to focus even more on God’s inspired word! ( v.111,116).

118 You reject all those who stray from your instructions, For they are false and deceitful.

PROVEN DIVINELY INSPIRED. Recall that “God is love,” and He is the “God of truth.” (1John 4:8; Psalm 31:5). Therefore, when He sees a need to give us specific instructions, are these not to help us live happily and peaceably in harmony with His good will and purpose? God-fearing ones love and appreciate such thoughtful guidance from our Creator! His instruction is far superior to that of those mistakenly believing that there is no God. To honest and right-hearted ones, having a proper motive, God’s instructions give evidence of it’s divine inspiration, moving them to keep His law. Those straying from such guidance, therefore, are “false and deceitful.” They promote their own ideas above God’s, deceiving others in seeking their own glory. May we not be so deceived, but appreciate God’s superior wisdom and give Him the glory He so deserves!

119 You discard all the wicked of the earth as if they were unworthy dross. That is why I love your reminders.

HELP TO MAKE GOOD DECISIONS. Regarding Jehovoe, Isaiah reports: “14 With whom did He consult to gain understanding, Or who teaches Him in the path of justice, Or teaches Him knowledge, Or shows Him the way of true understanding? 15 Look! The nations are like a drop from a bucket, And as the film of dust on the scales they are regarded. Look! He lifts up the islands like fine dust.” (Isaiah 40:14-15). Thus while appealing to them to turn from their badness, Jehovoe can in time discard those unrepentant, if any, who are refusing to listen, and determined to stray, who are misleading others away from God and true happiness. God’s reminders, on the other hand, assist all to follow the way of truth, love, and peace, the path of righteousness. At Isaiah 48:18, God appeals: “18 If only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” Such ones would know the right way to go, would make the right decisions, consistently, to promote true happiness, peace, and godly success. With proper motive, may sincere lovers of God and truth ever appreciate His reminders as helping us “pay attention” to the vital commands contributing to eternal peace and happiness!

120 The dread of you makes my body tremble; I am in fear of your judgements.

HIGHLY REGARD GOD'S JUDGEMENTS. While the genuine fear of God is wholesome, healthful, and not morbid, it involves a high regard for Him and His power, viewing Him with awe, helping us remain humble before Him. (Psalm 147:11). Isaiah 40:26 says: “26 “Lift up your eyes to heaven and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who brings out their army by number; He calls them all by name. Because of his vast dynamic energy and his awe-inspiring power, Not one of them is missing.” While motivated by appreciation for His love and greatness, the thought of seriously violating Him in some way should make one tremble. We should highly regard His judgements, refusing to disregard or go against them. May we be moved to learn of God’s judgements—the decisions He’s made in the past that we likely have benefitted from, and those He purposes to make in the future, in the outworking of His good and loving will, so that we may know how to please Him, and remain for life everlasting!

_____Ps119[10]

PSALM 119 REVIEW STANZAS 12-15

STANZA 12 Theme: GOD'S WORD AND LAW PRESERVE SPIRITUAL AND ETERNAL LIFE.

These verses emphasize God’s faithfulness as well as fondness for God’s law and it’s preservation value. What can help us not to forget God’s orders, as the psalmist mentioned was his determination?

92 If I had not been fond of your law, I would have perished in my hardship.
93 I will never forget your orders, Because by them you have preserved me alive.

GOD'S LOVING LAW & ORDERS. (92,93) Once again, the psalmist reminds us of the importance of loving God's law, appreciating it's value in our everyday life. Especially was the psalmist concerned with God's "orders." Clearly, for the psalmist not to forget God’s orders, he had to be familiar with them. Like the psalmist, may we search for God’s orders in His word, especially those from Christ, review them often, and carefully keep them! (PSalm 119:4).

94 I belong to you; save me, Because I have searched for your orders.

ENDURANCE NOT SIMPLY SURVIVING. (94) The psalmist was born into a nation dedicated to God. Still, according to the psalmist, searching for God’s orders in order to keep or obey them provided a basis for salvation by Him. Josha spoke in a similar way.

97 How I do love your law! I ponder over it all day long.

IN PRACTICALLY EVERY SITUATION. (97) The psalmist is clearly motivated to obey God, wanting to please Him by living in accord with His law. Jehovoe’s law clearly reflects His own values and standards—loving and keeping it therefore helps us draw close to Him. But how can the psalmist have the time to “ponder over it all day long?” What does he mean by this? Well, he realizes that God’s word gives us advice or principles to apply in practically every situation we meet in life. Thus, “all day long” as we seek God's view and way in every situation, God’s law can guide and help us, so that we may more and more handle situations in a successful way that is pleasing to God and all involved. Proverbs 3:5-6 puts it this way: “5 Trust in Jehovoe with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding ("Never rely on what you think you know.", GNT). 6 Please Him in all your ways, And he will make your paths straight.” Thus, look for God’s view, or way, in every situation you face, remaining humble before Him and others.

99 I have more insight than all my teachers, Because I ponder over your reminders.

ALWAYS GOOD REASON. (99) One aspect of divine wisdom is “insight.” This is empathy at work, to comprehend a given situation. May we develop such a habit to ask Why God instructs us as He does, confident in His overriding love for us in all His good guidance. (1JOhn 4:8).

BE GUIDED BY GOD'S WORD. (105) It was the prophet Jeremiah who was inspired by God to pen the words of Jeremiah 10:23, saying: “23 I well know, O Jehovoe, that man’s way does not belong to him. And more than that, it can light our path, helping us see down the road, alerting us to what may be coming in the distance. God’s prophetic word does give warning, often with history written in advance! May we look to God and His word for guidance in life, leading humanity to the success of God’s loving will and good purpose!

111 I take your reminders as my permanent possession, For they are the joy of my heart.

APPRECIATE THEM DEEPLY. (111) How we rejoice when we’ve recently been reminded of something that proved helpful to us in an important decision or situation we’ve faced!

113 I love less the halfhearted ones, But I love your law.

AIM TO LOVE THE GIVER EVEN MORE THAN HIS GIFTS. (113) The Hebrew expression often translated “hate” can mean to “love less.” Still, the psalmist seems to be contrasting his feelings for half-hearted ones with those for God’s law. As 1John 5:3 says, “3 For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome.” While we seek to encourage half-hearted ones to love God more fully, we need to guard our close associations, longing to maintain God’s favor first, along with those properly fearing God and keeping His commandments, which makes possible genuine peace, love, and truly an eventual end to hateful strife. (1COri 15:33; PROve 13:20; PSalm 37:11).

118 You reject all those who stray from your [instructions], For they are false and deceitful.

PROVEN DIVINELY INSPIRED. (118) Recall that “God is love,” and He is the “God of truth.” (1JOhn 4:8; PSalm 31:5). To honest and right-hearted ones, having a proper motive, God’s instructions give evidence of their divine inspiration, moving them to keep His law. Those straying from such guidance, therefore, are “false and deceitful.” They promote their own ideas, or ideas they've heard, above God’s, deceiving others in seeking their own glory or prominence, though perhaps thinking humans will benefit. May such ones come to their senses, considering abundant evidence of God's loving creative works making life possible, with wondrous beauty! And may we not be so deceived, but appreciate God’s superior wisdom and give Him the glory He so deserves!

Also, Adding to Calendar Table below, and later the (4A) Psalm 119 Review Stanzas 5-8. Mistake was on Calendar table, you may have noticed in didn't yet add much more to what was done on Sunday, it was that the extra day Himzday was shown on month 2 rather than 3, because normally that day does fall around the end of March/beginning of April, but this year, because the calendars are already 31 days off, that day ends up being in early May instead, end of month 3 new calendar. It will all be corrected soon on this Calendar Table, and I apologize for any inconvenience. Let God help with any corrections that may be needed if some advanced, again they would be between that day April 08 and the day it should be, early May. Further explanation may be found below, with the updated explanation on 26:01.08. Added (4A) Psalm 119 Review of Stanzas 5-8. (26:01.09 Riz or y.109 or :1.9, o2/9/26 Mon 7:54 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 1 verses 20-23, PR-A(01.4) . (26:01.08 Fwn or y.108 or :1.08, o 2/8/26 Sun 6:27,34; 7:53,56; 8:12; 10:13 am; 2:37 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Working on some things, I may adjust the plan not to normally post on Sundays, or at least Righzdays, the start of the 8-day workweek the second week (after a 2-day weekend) which leads to/makes possible the following 4-day or so weekend, still with typically 5-day workweeks with a longer year of some 400-days, which is real and current, not just a possibility or something imagined. The 7-day calendar is now off the real calendar by some 31 days or so, but the weekdays are still close to lining up together, and plans could be made to incorporate or transition, although it's believed that scheduled times are best changed about a month or a month and a half out, rather than so many so soon. With that view, then it turns out that next month, actually March and Peasamake (2nd month 8-Day Cal.) would be the time the calendars once again line up or merge Mar 22 (Sunday and Sonaday) for an entire week or two, being a good time for transition. Events scheduled March 22 through the weekend March 28-29, could be lined up with mid-Peasamake the 17th through the 24th (recall every month on 8-Day is 4 weeks 1-8,9-16,17-24,25-32 plus 1-2 days 33 or 34 long), then the next week both workweeks line up, Righzday through Thunderzday or Thunzday, leading NOT in this case (4X per year) to the 6-day but rather to the normal end-of-month 5-day weekending break, the 4-days plus just Lunarday, the 33rd, after Fanday the 32nd of the month, with Sonaday, following as the 1st of the next month, Shuay, but also a normal day off like Sunday. The special 6-day breaks conclude months 3,5,9 and 11 (Thanksgiving weekend), and this year month 3, because the calendars are already off by some 31 days, is not some days after March but after April, into May. Update. UPDATED THE TABLE AT PAGE BOTTOM FOR NEW CALENDAR TRANSITION , More will be filled in, later today. [Originally the Calendar Table showed month 2, April 8 as a Himzday, one of the 34-day months occurring 4X per year. This was corrected later to month 3, there being over 30 days difference between the 7-day and 8-day calendars that month this year.] (26:01.06 Stz or y.106 or :1.06, o 2/6/26 Fri 7:41,58 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! (y.C02,oC31 Wed 6:55; 7:01,11,13; 9:26 am; 5:05 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Slight update to current (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(9.4). NOTE : While it is okay to celebrate this new year's eve, let's be even more excited about the New Year of the true 400-day calendar, which doesn't start anew for another month, actually Feb 1 of the former calendar still in use here. God has made a good way for us to transition, by considering January a 13th month, the 31 days completing the 33 days of the current 12th month (Loyalnes) on the 400- or 8-Day Calendar. You might review the blogpost 3 Persistent Article More Orderly Time...8 Day Calendar, with the more meaningful month and daynames, and the timing that God makes possible for the moon to again line up with our weeks and months! Regarding tonight, please pray about your attendance. In many places there are freezing temperatures, which should not be dismissed. Please dress warmly if you choose to attend, head to toe, which may include ears, scarf, and toes (warm, thicker socks made for cold weather). Warm boots may suffice. We could continue; A sweater or jacket with a warm lining beneath a warm coat; warm gloves just in case (some coats have warm pockets); something beneath or over pants can be important; hats may be more optional but consider ears, hoods and chances of precip. Also footwear in possibly slick conditions. This may be helpful at times this winter, extended times in near freezing temperatures. We also want people, God's children, out of freezing cold temperatures overnight (normally), efforts are being put forth to help people do this without obligation, please cooperate with local shelters and trusted organizations. Added (3) Proverbs A, chapter 9, verses 7-9, PR-A(9.2) . Updates. (y.B25,oC21 Sun 8:16; 9:23,27,31 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (2A) Psalm 67, A Plea for God's Blessing On Earth. I believe I had interference from talking up the holiday as Christ's Family Weekend on the website this year, although many still likely heard, for Dec 27th and 28th; there is strong reason for caution, due to God's blessing potentially being removed from Dec 25. Some prophecies were fulfilled in recent years, including one about Job's cursing of the day of his birth, which both was historically Dec 25 and whose life foreshadowed Christ in some ways, prophetically. When God's blessing is on a day, He has often protected people from danger; For years now Jesus above (AzGod) has been saving thousands of lives weekly traveling roadways for instance. It is acknowledged that this went so misunderstood this year, without realizing a completely acceptable alternative in Christ's Family Weekend, but God and Jesus Christ above still have made clear that safe travel cannot be guaranteed for Dec 25. Why not open some gifts on the evening of the 24th, and save the rest for Christ's Family Weekend, on the 27th and 28th, good days for traveling to family, etc. for the same. To the extent that we do such things, we will please both God and Christ, showing faith in their word. Be careful what you do on the 25th, seeking God's approval, and pray about the matter if there are already plans made on that day. (y.B24,oC20 Sat 6:08; 7:16; 8:55 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! New blogpost 1, with (3) Proverbs A, chapter 9, verses 1-6, PR-A(9.1) . Also, posted a new (2B) SongWeekly, SW-1 . Update.

I've worked on another article of interest which I aim to post/update before 10am or so. Also, some are familiar with my God's View of Celebrations article under the Misc. Heading, which I haven't updated for some time but helps with understanding God's balanced view of holidays, and that we should seek His view of matters. George Washington instituted Thanksgiving, which even has a correlation in God's word to a Harvest Festival required of God's people to commemorate each year! God certainly wants us to be thankful, at one time there was more confusion regarding the caution Jesus gave about a "world" (Greek "cosmos"), which had to do with a corrupt version of worship, essentially the "Babylon the Great" of Revelation. It is acceptable to God for us to have chosen important days to be holidays, we just need to respect His view of matters. I aim to review that Celebrations article sometime in the near future, and post an update. POSTED the First Portion of the Persistent Article (PA) GA, " 1A) Sum More Orderly Time (8-Day Calendar) " ! More to follow... (Also update to BP3, Persistent Article, CTC More Orderly Time--Month and Daynames). (This BP1 PA) GA, Sum More Orderly Time, Posted More . Still more to come. More Posted , last portion not being rushed. Updates. (y.A33,oB26Wed 7:51; 8:05,22,30,36 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Keeping PR-A(7.5) up, Added PR-A(7.6), Proverbs A, chapter 7, verses 24-27. Updates. (y.A32,oB25Tue 6:17,51,56; 7:48; 8:26 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Let me apologize for the delay. Posted (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(7.5), chapter 7, verses 7-10, 21-23 . Also note yesterday's post of (8A) Come to Consensus Corner, Avoid Driving Under the Influence . (Alcohol leaves the bloodstream over time. So to avoid driving under the influence means that IF alcohol is consumed, then it should still not be strong enough when driving begins to be substantially influencing your driving actions, reactions, etc. Largely, and in terms of law, the BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) limit is the determining factor, and this can be fairly accounted for by considering beverages consumed and time spent following their consumption.) ALSO, moved more notes to Former Notes, you may scroll down for another Article List of Posts from 11/02-11/15. (y.A31,oB24Mon 6:47; 7:12,23,29 am; 8:23,35 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (3) Proverbs A, PR-A(7.4), chapter 7, verses 10,17-21. Planning to post the next two posts the following two days, to complete chapter 7. Also planning the post of a (8) Come to Consensus Corner policy on Driving Under the Influence, and other posts. Updates. Added a Persistent Article (PA) Collection on Blogpost 2, called 4A-5) Deuteronomy and New World, containing both Godz Lawl and Eternal Express segment collection. (y.A26Min,oB19Wed 6:58; 10:12,20 am EST) Hello, wishing all well! Drawing attention to yesterday's post of (1A) Golden Apples, How the Kingdom of God Relates to the (Proper) U.S. (Democratic) Constitutional Republic, as well as the Winit5to9 Podcast Text (1B) of Issue of Good Government. Also planning addition to (1A) Golden Apples, article Low Water Response/Conservation . Added paragraph, Hydration. Update. (y.A25Rih,oB18Tue 6:35; 9:21 am; 5:01,16 pm EST) Hello, wishing all well! Added (1A) Golden Apples, Low Water Response/Conservation . ALSO, added (5) Eternal Express, Comprehend God's Love in Christ . ADDED , to (1A) Golden Apples, How the Kingdom of God Relates to the (Proper) U.S. (Democratic) Constitutional Republic NOTE on (y.A16,oB09Sun): Asking for continued prayers for God's continued blessing on our seeking His will, on humbly acknowledging His hand on having made our nation great in the past, with His blessing on the Founders and Spirit-inspired documents, together comprising another holy book or collection, founding our government as it should be, although we've needed His help to apply it properly and see the God-blessed results with better unity, harmony, and cooperation, some of which was in evidence or growing for a time last year, 2024. Some wondered if our entire form of government needed to be thrown out, but this was not the case--God's blessing is not upon such an effort, and it actually threatens our Having His blessing on our nation to be His means of blessing all others! Our history reveals the progress toward peace that was in evidence over many decades, and God's blessing through His Kingdom on our efforts to respect the Democratic Constitutional Republic that the Founders established as our true God-blessed government, that can again become still more cooperative and effective in seeking the good of our people and humanity. It can take great and cooperative effort to make things right sometimes when it's necessary. Nevertheless, with God's help, we can still "Restore Good, and Move Forward"! I intended to post earlier, ask for prayers again on things taking place as they rightly should, with God's blessing. Real effort to make things right, His way, will be blessed by Him and help get us back on track, or keep us on track for restored peace, the kind of peace former President Ronald Reagan and others did much to help move us toward by the hand of God or His Son above, Jesus Christ. We have been close to having this peace, and greater, worldwide, and many by God's spirit have been working together with me toward this, really all cooperating with God's will for a truly peaceful world! Still, may prayers continue that the true President of the United States, the true winner of the 2024 Presidential election, which was not Donald Trump, can become known as such, being blessed by God to be or become as this one should be and still can be, with at least gradual acknowledgement of the truth as it becomes more known or clear to the many truthlovers and supporters in our nation, our public, the world, our government, our news media, and so on. Update to Persistent Article (PA), 1A) A Word At It's Right Time, and Good Humor. (y.926Min ,oA16Thu 7:39-40,46,50 am; 2:58; 3:11,33 pm EDT) Hello, wishing all well! ALSO, I've added a new article under Persistent Articles, entitled: A Word At It's Right Time, and Good Humor . Highlighting posts, etc. (y.924Fwn,oA14Tue 5:08; 7:26 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Added a former post as a PA, called On the War in Gaza , something regarding it's origin and God's long-term solution. An update to (8A) CTC, Zeroeing Traffic Deaths and Minimizing Accidents is upcoming, as well as another (3) Proverbs A, chapter 6, PR-A(6.3) . Posted the (3) Proverbs 6 verses 12-19 first. (y.923Clm,oA13Mon 10:05 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well! Praise to God through His Son above, Prince or Ruler of Peace, and King of Kings, for any contributions made to 'making wars cease'. Let your prayers continue that the peace process continue in Gaza, that aid flows in again for the people, as children of God there, and for God's blessing on all sides for their efforts toward a peaceful world. I know there are similar sentiments toward Ukraine and Russia, and in other areas. Working on a few things to post, sometime today or soon. (y.920Wdn,oA10Fri 9:41 am EDT) Hello, wishing all well!
